reporter: we are told investigators will be out here much of the night and there is no official word on any suspects. steve: breaking right now, a brushfire burning in fayetteville on owen drive near the airport. the fire chief said it started on airport property and scorched 12 acres and now under control. our crew says drivers are reporting smoke. there are no structures near the fire and no injuries are being reported. tisha: police are investigating a hit-and-run at 7:00. a man kept going. the victim was taken to the hospital with serious injuries and police are still looking for the driver. police are looking for answers. officers heard shots fired yesterday afternoon and they
