on a female, in decedent -- indecent exposure, and sexual battery. a man was beaten up at a bus stop and knocked into the street where he was hit by a car. it happened just before 2:00. police have not released any information about a suspect, but they do say -- anchor: a huge weekend for country music lovers. garth brooks in concert. heather is there. heather: the show did not disappoint. the crowd was electric. as expected, garth brooks rocked the arena, something fans have been waiting for for years.

the i-team revealed where they have been dumping their loads for the past six years. reporter: talk to the folks who live in the subdivision and you will hear poor stores of them coming face to face with trucks like those. many coming to a farm that turned into something else and the the interest of state inspectors. >> i have seen them all over lake county. they come in from durham. they are terrorizing the people that live here. absolutely terrorizing them. reporter: she has made it her mission to find out what is going on. >>that was six years ago.

saying he wanted to raise beef cattle. he got an agricultural exemption to halt in beneficial phil and the trucks have been coming ever since. >> they have an exemption. it is a loophole kind of thing for a law intended for something else. reporter: this is what it looks like today. one source close to the farm says it has gone way past 10 official phil, saying the mountain of clay and concrete and construction debris is 60 feet high, with one section looking like this. last january, durham county issued this notice of violation for the old farm with nearly a dozen specific violations listed, but nothing became of it because of the agricultural exemption. a spokesperson says no one has -- no inspectors have been back since that citation. that has neighbors concerned about environmental issues.

branch creek which goes right through this farm. because they are not a permitted landfill, they don't have the same guidelines and requirements a landfill would have. reporter: a year ago, one of the owners filed this affidavit, saying they would soon cd pastures. but earlier this week, the family attorney says those plans are gone. now the owners want to grow hops on the land for beer making. how much more dumping? maybe a year or so. and we are told they do collect so-called tipping fees for every time a dump truck tips its load. one lawmaker says the agricultural exemption should have been pulled a long time ago. we are also told earlier this week, state inspectors were back

all about the morning forecast. 80 the high today. the record was 84. the warmest since october 9. 82 in fayetteville. you see the cooler air, to the north and west. there is a front coming through right now. it will keep us in the 60's and 70's. above average but nothing resembling cold. the airport, 67. a southeast wind and humidity fairly high. rocky mount and wilson, 63. 64, roxboro. fayetteville at 67. mid 50's to lower 60's. of a lot of clouds around the region but not enough to squeeze out any shower activity.

good news for the beleaguered gulf states. light showers in alabama, the florida panhandle. the torrential rains appear to be about over so folks can start cleaning up as they head through the weekend. it has been a disaster with up to 20 inches of rain in some spots. just an isolated shower here. here is the front, bisecting the region. spotty showers, mainly in the morning. the afternoon looks to be dry. back into the 70's sunday. a better chance for showers. some of the moisture from the system in texas that caused the problems in the deep south comes our way. we will not see more than 0.5 inches of rain sunday afternoon. fairly dry day. clouds, limited sun.
