not as many police cars -- down to seven on the outside. we are looking right now at the area where the incident happened. at is the area where officers bring prisoners to the county jail, under the control of the police. what is not clear is exactly how this happened. whose gun was that? what happened to cause shots to get fired? we can confirm that the only person injured here was the officer. apparently they were able to disarm the suspect without incident -- the suspect is in custody and has not yet been identified. apparently it was a man. we haven't been able to confirm that, but we do know at this hour that the officer is injured, but out of the hospital. we will work hard to get the name of the officer and new information about how it happened.

cause it to start back up as writers were getting off. the incident left five people injured. the owner of the four text, joshua macaroni, entered a no contest on obstruction of justice. he is accused of tampering with an electrical box. his plea means that he maintains his innocence while pleading guilty, because there is enough evidence to find him guilty. he is spending 30 days in jail and could be fined up to $22,000. court is scheduled to begin at 10:00 this morning. we will be here and bring you the very latest later on today. barbara: thank you. new details about a shooting at a gas station. police are trying to piece together what happened, but they say they are not looking for any suspects. officers responded to a convenience store about 6:30 last night. where learning a 67-year-old man

john:john: astronomers looking to skies today for a twin, flyby. nasa says these could be interplanetary twins, which means the smaller one maybe a fragment that broke off the bigger one. the largest will pass near earth today and the smaller one tomorrow.they are 2 million miles away , but it is the third closest flyby in recorded history.
