joel: hi again, everyone. heather: p -- police in wake county investigating a break-in. joel: they found the front door open, the glass shattered, but the intruders didn't take anything.

store but surprisingly, they didn't take anything. this is connected to another break-in. stores this morning. two men entered this abc liquor store on vineyard pinelake in opened around the clock running. according to roseville police chief, the men were not armed and they did take anything. about three hours earlier, two men broke into the abc liquor store on east nash street about 20 miles away. they believe the same men committed the break-ins. the suspects also broke their front doors to get into the store. if you have any information, you should contact the roseville police department. joel: now to stories from our

joel: a wake county couple dealing with thousands of dollars of damage due to a water issue. diane: this couple was in transition, building a new house, but in need of temporary housing. they thought they found a good fit. but when they moved out of the temporary housing, they discovered thousands of dollars of damages. mold and water damage on many of patricia's possessions. >> this is where it sat in water and the wood is physically splitting.

after picture of the damages. >> the property managers suggested that we could rent the garages to house our stuff. we thought that would be great. diane: patricia rented three garages to store all the positions. but they -- possessions. but they discovered a big problem when her husband retrieved an item from the garage. >> he opened up the garage and water came out. we noticed right away that there was water. no actively. diane: once they moved everything out of the garages -- >> boxes had disintegrated. standing water. diane: patricia wanted the apartment complex to be responsible since she said water

>> they kept saying there -- there -- they kept saying their regional director was saying there was no leak. diane: according to her insurance company, the damages are only covered it a our storm related, not because of a leak. >> we are not done. diane: thousands of dollars spent, special possessions lost. now she wants others not to make the same mistake. >> you've got to tell people not to put their personal possessions in these garages and she looked at me and said that this is what people use them for. diane: we reached out and said that storing anything other than vehicles is straggly prohibited.
