of sexting a 14-year-old student was in court a judge reduced bond for samuel bullock to $48,000. he was a substitute at riverview high school friend requested the 14-year-old on instagram and sent her nude photos and sexual messages. he will be required to wear an ankle monitor. people in a ybor neighborhood are worried about the sexual offenders and predators had the community. they want the council to do something about it. those living in off nebraska approached the council saying there are hundreds living in the neighborhoods. >> i pulled up the map and the concentration the difference between concentration and vme was drastic. >> one of the ideas proposed would ban too many offenders from living in one area such as a home or a condo complex. residents say they think the

3 our fox 13 poll shows donald and our fox 13 poll shows donald trump leading the republican race here in florida. he is getting a boost from rick scott. why he is praising donald trump. >> he says he is not officially endorsing donald trump but he is talking him up and writing him up saying some flattering things about him. it is surprising considering the fact that jeb bush and marco rubio, from florida, went out of their way to help rick scott in his reelection, you see parallels, rick scott and donald trump, they are successful businessmen, outsiders who were ultimately dismissed at first, written off by pundits and rivals and they came out of nowhere. rick scott focused entirely on

donald trump he would be the, quote, greatest jobs president god created. you see parallels here, both of them won by running again at least initially the establishment players within their own party. scott is not endorsing trump here. we don't know if he will endorse anyone but if he does, this is an indication of where he may ultimately go. >> he actually has not been the most popular. he has low approval ratings, has. does it help or hurt? >> it will not, i think, hurt donald trump or rick scott. it will not hurt rick scott. he struggled but on the flip side he won in a very big state where democrats outnumber republicans. in this case, we're not talking about a overall race that would be in november. we're talking about a republican race in march of this year where

voted, this is a matter, i think, that could help any of the republican candidates and certainly trump if he gets scott's endorsement as he heads into florida on march 15th. overall, i think endorsements, these and others would have very little impact in the end. we see this with jeb bush. look at the endorsements and not so many for donald trump but look at the poll numbers you see something different. this is a year they are not paying attention to the endorsements, they are looking for something different. the governor knows it. >> will he come out with an endorsement in march. >> the governor said he does not plan to endorse prior to the 15th. does not plan to. plans can change. we have seen this before, for example, with governor crist where he said the same thing and before the primary he endorses john mccain and pulls the rick out from mitt romney.

3 tonight two parents in lakeland are facing charges tonight parents in lakeland are facing charges for how they disciplined their kids. they taped their daughter's hands and face and used a stun gun. crystal clark spoke with a woman who lives with the couple. despite what they did, she thinks they are good parents. >> was it cruel intentions or punishment gone too far? 36-year-oldyo landa ashley and michael sanchez are behind bars for duct taping and daysing their -- and tazing their child. >> could you breathe wrong and they would say that are you abusing the child. >> they have 12 children ranging from 1 to 19 years old. >> they would not do anything to put the kids in harm. reports tell a different story. over the weekend, sanchez used a taser to scare them into

police in paris stopped another potential attack. officers shot and killed a man armed with a life with wires coming from his clothes. he quelled god is great in arabic. they marked one year since the charlie hebdo attack and last month extremists killed people in paris. the trooper who pulled over sandra bland surrendered today. the trooper was indicted for perjury in the case. this is video of the arrest. investigators say that he lied about the details of the arrest of of bland after a traffic stop in july. bland was pulled over for changing lanes incorrectly but arrested for assault. she nide jail three days after the arrest. she hanged herself with a bag.

we hit 72 for a high. record high of 83 set in 2007, and low clouds moved away. now there is a batch of rain moving our way from the gulf. i think that most of the rain is going occur overnight between midnight and day break a few left over showers early on friday. another surge saturday. the rain increasing. storms down here. i don't think we'll see it. it is an indication that there is energy out here and gradually moving our way. we'll stay dry under mostly cloudy skies. kind of cool. they are think inning 66 in tampa and wauchula.

3 a rough day on wall street... following worries about a slowdown in china and a dip in oil prices. the dow plummeted 392 points... the nasdaq sank 146 points... and the "s" and the nasdaq 146 points the s&p down. hope tomorrow is better. and a new bar helping out high school students. they are putting it to good use. the barn is at braden river high school. the school has the largest program in our state. it has been up and running for 11 years. the program is open to all students from freshman to seniors. this is the first time they had a facility they can house cows and horses.
