6:00 pm
just minutes from being put to death. >> lovie smith is out. could dirk koetter be the next coach of the bucs. >> the circus heads to the hospital today. >> this is the fox 13 6:00 news. >> good evening and welcome, i'm kelly ring, i'm mark wilson. after the murder of three women this man who did it is scheduled to be put to death. the warrant signed back in october should be carried out any moment now. and gloria gomez is outside of the prison. she joins us, what is the latest? >> the latest is that we're waiting for the u.s. supreme court to make their final decision on whether they will stay the execution. i have not heard back yet. oscar ray bolin's attorney will be the third in line.
6:01 pm
we're standing by, it will be on hold. and i did ask oscar ray bolin what his thoughts were as he is laying on that gurney. the convicted killer could be taking his last breath any time now. >> they killed me 28 years ago. when they locked me up. now they're releasing me. >> he was convicted of killing three women in 1986. all three mothers endured 30 years of trials and retrials. he outlived holly's mother, waiting for justice. but the mothers of collins and matthews will be there to witness oscar ray bolin's death. >> will you look at them before you're executed. >> if they're in the window i probably will, during the hour long interview.

6:03 pm
where this is all kind of developing right now. >> if i remember the last delay that we had 7 years ago it was only about maybe 10 or 15 minutes. so i cannot imagine this will go on if it is going to be granted we'll know quickly, should we not? >> we don't know. we don't know. i think that everyone is kind of waiting to see what what happens. i am in contact with the attorneys, they will be the third in line like i mentioned to find out from the supreme court if there is granted, whether they stayed the execution whether they granted that or not. so at this point. we're waiting to see but until they come up. we'll let you know. >> to make the point it has been weeks since the supreme court denied that. so it has been a couple of weeks. we know that you are watching it

dungy did it for gruden. was it deserved? >> lovie smith deserved a better ending. did he deserve another year? i don't think he did. i think there would have been a repeat and under perform. they would have to win 9 games next year. there is no guarantee with a tougher schedule. that falls on the head coach. he and they were lacerated by kirk cousins. eli manning. the tampa two was sliced apart. the defense was supposed to be the strength of the team. instead it was the biggest weakness. what the glaziers and the gm had to decide would another season make a difference? a dramatic difference? i don't think it would. the owners and the gm didn't
