the home was found from its foundations bouncing like a ball -- hit at around 4:00 a.m. steve wilson died on site and kelli had a heart attack on the way to the hospital. their son and grandchildren made it outside. >> neighbors -- tried to warn them by phone in the middle of the night. but no luck, it was just not safe for them to go outside -- >> they loved their grand kids. they loved their neighbors have steve could do anything in the world for anybody, any time. they were just wonderful people and the world is just not going to be the same without them. >> i'm surprised that anybody got out alive. if you look at the debris, this is just total devastation.

see the storm moving through siesta key. rated at 132 miles per hour, with a pathlength of over a mile, and then it hopped up and dropped back down into northwest manatee county and then left a nine-mile-long path of ef-2 destruction. crazy to see that around here, and obviously a devastating morning. thoughts and prayers for everyone effected by these storms. it wasn't really just thought. i want to give you a sense of just how active the atmosphere was this morning. we take a look at our velocity data, and when you see the greens and reds close to each other, that is a good indication of rotation in the atmosphere.
