>> we'll take you inside f the legoland expansion continues in polk county. the theme park is in winter haven, but its newest 9 lego land -- the lego land expansion continues. it's where model builders and designers create those life like lego models you see in lego land parks around the world. the facility is not open to the public but fox 13 photo journalist lucas got inside and was able to give us a closer look. >> reporter: most days are not anything that you can sort of preplan and go yeah today. this is the merlin magic making hub in florida. that's brand new production facility to make lego models for merlin abe traction all around the world. the kind of models we make here it's typically for mini land attractions within the lego land discovery center parks. we also make models which sculpted models like the knights, the pigs, the can dogs the globes all those sorts of things.

was recently completed. he will be going to an upcoming new feature in one of the lego land discovery centers. people come in and go i played with lego as a kid. >> when you're a kid you're playing with lego and then to actually have make a living actually working with lego it's just really incredible. i'm a model builder for lego land. >> if you told me a couple years that i would have a job building legos i wouldn't believe it. i would be like no. >> it's building something from nothing it's a really fun progression to watch. >> this is definitely very much a dream job. >> merlin entertainment is still looking to hire 20 more model builders for the lake wales facility. if you want the job you will have to go through multiple interviews and they'll have you build a model out of legos to make sure that you have the right stuff. >> that is the dream job for the kid who never outgrew
