yesterday the former d.a. testified saying he believed the woman's story but didn't think he could get a conviction and so convinced cosby to testify in the woman's civil case by promising he would close the criminal case and not prosecute. but the current da claims it's not clienting because the former d.a. never put it in writing and didn't have the authority to promise that he could not be prosecuted. the judge reels ruled in favor of the current d.a., cosby said in the deposition that his physical contact with the woman was consensual, and he settled that case out of court for an undisclosed amount of money. >> the florida state fair kicks off tomorrow, and you can expect the usual fair favorites but

early afternoon and midday highs. also the south and east where we hold off the rain just a little bit longer. it's a little bit longer. 80 in arcadia and 78 down in venice. showers and storms moving into the nature coast, and we head for the morning and into the afternoon and bringer into the evening linger into theevening hours. still uncertainty in the forecast, and some of the latest model data really not helping out at all, everything is going one way or another. we have not come down to the one-model solution just yet. dewpoint at 66, winds out of the south at 8, and other temperatures around the area, it's 72 in bartow, and 72 in arcadia, so a mild night. and a muggy night as well, dewpoints in the mid 60's.

heading through the overnight, just generally increasing clouds tonight, and i don't see a whole lot of rain making its way toward us. having said that the best way of seeing rain is from tampa northward. 8 siem 8:00 a.m. to say, 10:00 a.m., is where you see the rain moving into the bay and along i-4. after that we start to fill in and develop southward as well. folks off to the south and east and you see this is a pretty wide area of showers and downpours and so it won't be moving through quickly but will go on throughout much of the day and into the evening wellwith occasionally heavy downpours, just not the best of days. and then friday morning we are talking about a chilly morning with temperatures dropping into the 40's.
