victory to save his campaign s that possible? >> yes, but of course it is a huge battle that he faces. consider this a number of polls including our own fox 13 verys marco rubio down double digits to donald trump. here is another concern a third or more of florida republicans have cast the ballots many while jeb was running. there may not be enough for marco rubio to make up the difference n an interview -- in an interview he is optimistic. >> frankly i think a lot of people will be embarrassed tonight and want refunds from the money they spent. we're going to win florida. we keel optimistic about that. >> he is saying at the moment his plans are to continue on with the campaign with the momentum of florida's 99 winner take all delegates. we'll see if that sticks if donald trump comes out or marco

she is hoping to stem the tide in the midwest that has tilted to bernie sanders with his win in michigan. ohio is a good test of her economic message. that fell short in michigan. 30% of the delegates that they need are available and a third of those are in florida. the delegates on the democratic side are awarded proportionally. she cannot win all of them available but with ohio, missouri, north carolina and illinois voting tonight, along with florida, this could either separate her from the senator or it could mean that we are all in for a much longer race at least on the democratic side. evan axelbank, fox 13 news. bernie sanders said he is feeling good about today's primaries, he hopes to build on his lead in michigan. he has been hammering clinton on her support for trade deals like

killer in the u.s. >> and craig patrick shows us florida. >> we'll start with the democrats if bernie sanders loses florida, and he will, he can make away with a good amount of delegates because unlike the republican races the democratic race, the delegates are awarded on a proportional basis. you have a 15% threshold. 214 in play. bernie sanders does best among the younger voters. the good news for hillary clinton, florida suits her profile better at this point. are you looking at more than 860,000 votes cast before today and less than 10% of those were under the age of 35. and based on what we have seen in other states, that sets up nicely for hillary clinton. i think that if sanders is to make a move he needs to win in urban areas from miami to tampa bay because, again, delegates are awarded based on districts

how they will be awarded until probably the end of this week. >> let's go to marco rubio who says he will pull a upset. what does he need to do that. >> a miracle of miracles. based on the polling he is down 18 points our poll the good news for marco rubio is that he has been moving up in the polls but he is buried and there does not appear to be ground for him to make up. let's watch the returns come in. north florida should fall for donald trump. if that does not happen, cruz makes hay in north florida that rubio. i think trump's best shot, show, is running the table all across the state based on what we're seeing on the polling. marco rubio could make progress on his home turf of miami-dade and the i-4 corridor will be the tale of the tape. that is a bell weather.
