florida state is 4th in the florida state is fourth in the pre-season coaches poll. but keeping or improving that ranking will have to be earned. which started today with the beginning of seminoles fall camp in tallahassee. the ranking is not the only thing that's going to have to be earned with this team. jim bow fisher saying every starting position will have to be won. no starters penciled in yet. that goes for the quarterback position as we. that race between senior mcgwire and freshman deand re. >> there ain't no starters in place. everything is open. we have to do a great job in this camp of evaluating and educating. because you got to evaluate your players as you educate your players. because, you know, a combine don't win a football game. >> at bucs camp a dust up at practice for the second day in a row.

was between evan smith and spence. a sure sign the team is ready for thursday's pre-season opener against the eagles. one guy that's added a dash of saltiness to the defense this camp is new defensive end robert ayers. our kevin o'donnell has his story. >> reporter: robert ayers on the side of chaos. he brings to the bucs what they've been missing. an edge rusher with an attitude. he brings grit. >> sometimes, you know, things happen and, you know, fights break out. i've never b of a team where there aren't fights and guys going at each other's neck. but it's the nature of the beast. i want to win. >> reporter: ayers saltiness is spreading. even when he is on the sidelines. >> it's great. we need it. i mean, we need that. and i think if you are have really been paying attention i think you see he's got other guys falling in line behind him. that's a great thing to see. >> reporter: the bucs love the grit ayers brings to the defense but the offensive players will tell you in training camp that

lots of elections, some are in both camps depending on how well their candidate is doing in those surveys. for much to have last year, donald trump loved the polls. quoted them all the time. as they documented his rise in his surprising success on the root to winning the republican nomination for president. this past week though, not so much. in addition to a fox news survey that found hillary clinton with a national lead over 49% to 39%... surveys showed similar numbers in key swing states. in trump's must win pennsylvania, 49% to 38%. in florida 48% to 42%. in michigan 41% to 32%. new hampshire tied a few weeks ago is a blow out. hillary clinton at 47% and trump just 32%. whn i reported on these and other surveys that had bad news

okay. let's start with good news, maybe in the making for libertarian presidential candidate gary johnson because the nonpartisan commission on presidential debates says to planners of the debate,re possibility gary johnson could be part of the national debate. there's a 15% polling threshold and while johnson is closing in on that in some polls in double digits there's a good possibility he could be include. he could make gains in late september. bad news for debby schulz. you have bernie sanders on her case raising money.
