11:30 pm
>> last year the bucs had too many turnovers and too many penalties. but unfortunately the same can be set about tonight's game. a reminder of why the preseason is a good thing. kenny bell coughs you have the return, and three plays late, philly scored and koetter was just lived with teams. and three plays after this the eagles scored again. winston does get the offense going. a nice little drive here. his first career pre-season touch down. 97 yards and a touch down and this we did not see coming.
11:31 pm
right off of the upright. and then holding that philly offense to just 78 yards in the first half. the bucs lose, 17-9. >> not what i had in mind. not what i had in mind for the start. preseason number one. i thought our defense did a really nice job, all night, we pressured and hit the quarterback. a good job on third down, but then a of negatives after that. five o o turnovers and 9 pointsu can't win like that, a h horrendous start from the opening kickoff and missing an extra point just not good. just not good. i got do a better job coaching. >> the saints and patriots know tom brady.
11:32 pm
four-game garapalo era. this one a tom approved play, and he was frightened for a second but this was a nice screen play and goes 56 yards. blunt would punch it in, and sorry for the pun. a couple of year later, the wound is still fresh. they come back to win -- that is, he is a f phenom. >> he is a fish. >> he is going to neet nee needr proify case. >> a lot of people fantasize
11:33 pm
a 3d printer made him a new bill, and through a funding campaign, the center was able to raise money to get him a new beak. this was designed by a california company that is disoindesigned with dozens of engineers and this tucan has become a symbol to fight animal cruelty. >> that is going to do it for us, money, power, and is next.

11:34 pm
i got shot down over vietnam and spent eleven months in a pow camp. what donald trump said about our members of the military being captured is a disgrace. he's a war hero because he was captured. i like people that weren't captured. when you fly over enemy territory, the odds might be against you being able to come home. donald trump doesn't understand the weight of sending americans into harm's way. he's unfit to be president.
11:35 pm
tonight we go one on one with republican vice shl
11:36 pm
and our foreman an conscience john wilson will join us with his view. a congressional report follows our investigation on doctored intelligence at simcome. why the white house was caught off guard by the rise of isis. you think the media sometimes overstates this level of alarm people should have about terrorism? this is beyond anything that we've seen. >> we will follow them to the gates of heck. >> the united states is con fronting, emerging security challenges on a scale not seen since the rise of the soviet union. > from the start, our goal has been first to contain. we have contained. >> i don't think the approach is sufficient to the job. >> we have all along underestimated isis. >> this is not a time to
11:37 pm
that somehow this enemy will go away. >> and that's where we'll start. the president says we're making progress in the war on terror. but when isis invaded iraq our government was byline sided. maybe because the intelligence cuz disstorted to make it look as if isis was weaker than it analysts claim their reports were manipulated and last year we exposed evidence of doctored intelligence in the war on terror months before the national immediate wra ran with it. the inspector general is investigating that. today a congressional task force concluded that higher ups did distort the andests findings. if that's the caseworks it could put some mixed signals out of washington in context. let's go back to the contra dekss a couple of years ago in
11:38 pm
>> our objective is clear. i don't want to put the cart before the horse. the strategy we laid out. we don't have a strategy yet. >> in syria the strategy had been to take out ooh dictator who gassed his own people. >> that's a red line for us. >> to recap. obama set a red line he said he didn't set and then sought permission from congress he said he didn't need because we have to act now or some time later. >> this mission is not time sensitive. >> d diminish but not topple a murdering dictator that posed a threatening yet nonthreatening threat. >> it's a dangerous to our national security. >> that he could threaten the united states is not the case. >> with a tiny attack with a military that does not deliver pinpricks. >> this could be more than what some people talked about. >> militarily significant strike. > he waited and launched
11:39 pm
switching the target for deck today or the to the masked murder terrorist trying to wipe out the dictator. after getting caught off guard by iraq. >> nobody expected that. >> that brings us to the possibility that intelligence may have led to the confusion and waivering generally caught off guard at first. we invest gated this before the congressional task force released finding today. and white house chief responded to our records. >> when did you first learn that intelligent analysts claimed report weres whitewashed and doctored and how did you respond? >> what i know is what the president told me. he demands the truth in intelligence. that's what he expects and that's what we'll continue to demand from intelligence agencies. the overwhelming work from the expert and selfless patriots in the intelligence community is that.
11:40 pm
telling hard truths to the president. that's the way he wants it. if this is one where it was not the case, then we'll get to the bottom of that. i think that's a process we're under. >> welcome gop vice presidential nominee mike pence. governor pence thank you for joining us. >> thank you. >> we mapped out the issues and problems that fuelled the rise of isis under this administration. does donald trump calling hillary clinton the cofounder of isis strike you as in any way insid area or inflam tore or over the top? >> there's no question the failed leadership of obama and hillary clinton in the wider middle east created the conditions isis is created. this administration is responsible for that failed policy and it was precisely the leadership of barack obama and hernt that created the conditions in which isis was formed. >> you're okay with using the term cofounder of isis when talking about hillary clinton?
11:41 pm
craig, there is no question. in the home of simcom at tampa. there's to question the decisions made by this administration, to precipitously withdraw american forgss without an agreement to have american troops in and around the are region to protect those gains we won in iraq, a great sacrifice in this country. that created the vacuum of leadership in which isis was formed. >> in terms of choose of words you said name calling has no place have you tole donald trump to stop calling names leek crazy bernie and goofy warren and calling hillary clinton the devil? >> donald trump and e have different styles but we have the seam goals and exactly the same convictions. the american people aren't really focused, craig, on si man ticks. they are focused on the ideas and policies and leadership that are going to turn the country around. the reason you see the enormous crowds across florida when
11:42 pm
my own. the crowds of five hundred and a thousand people that are coming out to hear that message. it's evidence that donald trump is speaking straight into the heart, the aspirations and frustrations to have american people. we're going to continue to do that all the way through election day. >> if you have exactly the same goal and exactly the same convictions of donald trump, why did you back ted cruz in the primary? in hien site? would you have gone with endorsed donald trump instead? >> we all made our choices in our primaries. i made my choice in the indiana primary. donald trump won my state and won the republican nomination fair and square. i couldn't be more honored to stand with this good man. i believe he's going to be a great president of the united states. 14 million americans in our primaries voted for our nominee. you're seeing not just republicans around the country but also, many independents and
11:43 pm
his common sense vision to make america great again. i'm honored to stand with him. >> would you have gone cruz or trump before indiana voted? >> i made my decision in the indiana primary. i standby the decisions i made. i'm proud to stand with donald trump. to travel with this man as i've had the privilege in florida and across the country is to see the kind of leader i do believe the collective wisdom of the people of our donald trump provides the broad shouldered leadership that is going to have america standing tall in the world again. he's going to rebuild our military. with a son in the marine corp. that cuts close to home. and rebuild the economy with less tax, less red tape, more more than energy and common sense toughness in our trade deals that will make sure that international trade is working for american workers. that's the kind of leadership
11:44 pm
as i said, i couldn't be more proud to be campaigning across the country with him a and for him. i like our chances. >> governor pence thank you for your time. >> you bet. >> coming up. in light of the report on intel, simcom will drill into the -- big changes to talk about in florida politics. matt rolls out the new numbers
11:45 pm
11:46 pm
we focus on the war on terror. our former anchor john wilson is here to giver us his view. first to know where we're going we have to know where we've been to understand why democrats and republicans do not agree on who is to became and how to precede. here's a refresher on the rise of isis that started in iraq, spread in iraq. democrats bram isis on the invasion of iraq. the nation plunged into chaos and al-qaeda swept in. a troop surge and payments for their help. but ie chi da and iraq moved into syria, rebranded as isis. >> isis is the most successful terrorist organization we have in modern history. >> as our support for the tribes dried up and corrupt
11:47 pm
rack. isis laughed and danced on the tanks we gave. republicans blame the president for leaving iraq too soon. >> i believe history will judge this president's leadership with dedane that it deserved. >> is the united states at war with isis? it sounds from the president's speech we are. >> i think that's the wrong termin a very significant counter terrorism operation. >> but as isis took off and displayed acts of violence, the administration changed its tune. >> make no mistake, we know we are at war with isis. >> we are at war with i-s-i-l. >> that meant air strikes which have not gone as planned. that's why rx say we have to do more. >> we have to show much of
11:48 pm
much of of a drive than the president has shown thus far. >> this is john wilson's my view now. >> let's bring in john wilson. my view now. how well are we fighting the war on isis? >> our strategy has been a disaster from the beginning. now we are told, and i think it's time toed a met it, that isis is a global concern. they are in three times more countries than they were when this started. despite all of all of these aeroattacks that the united states carried out against isis. but those air attacks are a small percentage of the attacks that we carried out in afghanistan that ended al-qaeda. al-qaeda is a good little example here to use. we knew a lot about al-qaeda before 9/11. we had warnings it was coming. we ignored all of those warnings. here we are getting warnings ability isis.
11:49 pm
well, guess what? they are already here. they are here in the transplant of many immigrants who have come to the united states from these trbled countries. i'm talking syria, which is the headquarters of isis. iraq... but syria is their sanctuary wechlt need to focus on syria the way we focused on afghanistan. we eliminate that sanctuary that takes some of the sting out. >> it takes teem. also when it invaded iraq you saw the ter pickup trucks unchallenged. in part, it appears as if the people who lived in the communities were sympathetic to their arrival. they saw it as a better alternative to persection they face in their own government. how do you counter act that? >> we need to do it and try it. we were not doing it. that's the very thing, craig. i think we're not taking carry of now. we're not trying to help the
11:50 pm
together again here. you got to look at this from a real big perspective. guess who is helping asad? russia. russia is fighting for the syrian government in there. we can't have that. so, are we trying to fight that on the ground? no. as far as i know we're not doing anything to try to help the main people, the main body of the themselves against asad. asad has go. are u sha doesn't want him to go. iran doesn't want him to go either. the middle east is more of a mess now than it's been in as long as i can remember, craig. >> sobering but thank you. >> yep. >> watch extended interviews with john and others on youtube.
11:51 pm

poll. you know, interestingly enough, that's been a trend in the last week or so. we saw a poll show virtually the same thing a few days ago. >> this survey was on the field. was it not in part after the controversial remarks made about gun advocates? >> it was. >> are these media stories hurting trump? >> no. and they are not hurting clinton either. it was out after the revelations about the newest e-mails related to secretary clinton and the department, neither one of those stories or me of those stories seem to hurt either candidate right now. they are going neck and neck. i think the public is tuning out the national media. >> what about jeb bush and what he said about trump. let's call it lackluster support of rub roob. >> that is. the reason it is is republicans are not supporting donald trump at the same level democrats in the state of florida.
11:54 pm
10% difference is a difference in at least one or two percentage points overall. >> you check out the results of the u.s. senate race and the matchup of rubio and murphy. not necessarily that it will be murphy. look how the numbers tightened. what does that tell you? >> some argue it's because of donald trump. i argue it's tightening because the state is teeth. it just is a tight state. democrats and republicans are seesawing back. remember when look out turnout models for presidential years. those are larger turnouts. democrats do better. >> based on the results of medical marijuana you think it's going to pass? >> yeah. it had trbl a few years ago. now there's no way to stop it. at this moment it looks like a winner. >> thank you as always. >> sure. coming up. libertarian gary johnson is

predictions for t ? and these are the lungs. (boy) sorry. (dad) don't worry about it. (vo) at our house, we need things that are built to last. that's why we got a subaru. (avo) love.
11:56 pm
some good news tonight for libertarian presidential nominee gary johnson. because a committee is acting on his behalf to buy ads for him. they will run not in florida but the state of maine.
11:57 pm
if johnson gets there he's included in the presidential debates. news on the marijuana front. after much debate the drug enforcement administration will not reclassify pot. still considers it among the nations most dangerous drugs. in consulting with health and human services the d-e-a concluded with h-h-s council that marijuana has a high potential for abuse. no acceptable mid-kal use in the united states and lacks safety supervegs. it remains a schedule one substance as far as if federal government is concerned even though more than two dozen states allow for at least medical use of the drug. back on the trump front. you have 70 republicans asking prevows to not spent money on trump but senate and house candidates. bet a safe prediction, that will not happen. he's obligated to spend money
11:58 pm
party. line of the night goes to donald trump speaking to evangelical leaders and pastors in orlando. saying winning the presidency may his best shot of getting into heaven. once he gets in he will do his thing and do it very well. he figured this may be the only way he's going to get into heaven. he better do a good job. that's our show tonight. we will join you once again at
