don't believe that firefighter brock is an absolute hero to us in the whole community. >> other firefighters helped nurses attend to the students until medical help arrived. anoanother student was shot in e leg and he is the one in critical condition today. his parents prayers. and his grandmother says the teenust before the school shooting and he was crying and upset and so she went to the home and found her son, the suspect's father dead from a gunshot wound. the teen was homeschooled and it's not clear if he ever went to the elementary, or if he knew students there.

and we have new details about that deadly police shooting in california. the el cajon police department said a mentally unstable man was pointing a vape smoking pen at officers. this as the mayor says it took an hours for officers to respond but only a minute for them to open fire. in a press conference the mayor says the officers were both 21-year veterans but only had basic people with mental will health issues. yesterday's shooting took place after the man refused to comply and placed both hands on the ground over an object in what the mayor called a shooting stance. >> we are opening to hearing your complaints. we are open to listening to your protests. we are completely fine with the peaceful protests happening in the street and as long as public

the gfs model over and over shows a hurricane moving east of our state and parallelling the coast up to new england but the european model is showing a storm that hangs around the bahamas for a couple of days and then bends back to the west. i will be honest, the confidence in this situation beyond five days is very, very low. we'll watch it step by step. it's a long way impacts the united states at all. the showers will be developing near the coast late tonight, wet tomorrow, with showers and thundershowers all moving inland. we are back in the mid 80's and the outli outlook is more showed storms moving inland with a high of 86. and the forecast looks wet. we go from a west to an east wind this weekend meaning showers and thunderstorms during the afternoon.
