office with the latest. josh. >> reporter: just a short time ago, the sheriff announced to us it was an anonymous tip led them to jarvis kendrick, 37 years old from lakeland. it he stopped and called 911 and did the right thing, there would be zero charges. the alleged hit-and-run is one thing. what he did after that allegedly is a whole other story. first, i want to show you h polk county. deputies allege on october 6th he hit janice joy walking along duff road near sheffield drive in lakeland and just took off. joy suffers from alzheimer's disease. her loved ones tell fox 13 she likely at the time had no idea where she was going. at the time sheriff judd noted a piece of the suspect vehicle was left at the scene, a broken
