10:30 pm
i i've been waiting for years. frankly, we're going to do it right. >> moderator: the one last one i want to get into with you in this debate is the fact that the biggest driver of our debt is entitlement, which is 60% of all federal spending. the committee for a federal responsible budget has looked at both of your plans and they say neither of you has a serious plan that is going to solve the fact that medicare is going to run out of and recipients are going to see huge cuts in the benefits. in effect, the final question i want to ask you in this regard is, and let me start with you, mr. trump. would president trump make a deal to save medicare and social security that included both tax increases and benefit cuts, in effect, a grand bargain on entitlement? >> trump: and cutting taxes. we're going to grow the economy. it's going to grow at a record
10:31 pm
>> trump: going to totally help you. we have to repeal and replace the disaster known as obamacare. it's destroying our country, our businesses, our small businesses and our big businesses. we have to repeal and replace obamacare. you take a look at the kind of numbers that that will cost us in the year '17, that is a disaster. if we don't repeal and replace. it's probably going to die of its own weight, but obamacare has to go. the premiums are 70%, 80%, next you're going to go up over 100%. and i am really that the premiums have started -- at least the people see what's happening. she wants to keep obamacare and she wants to make it even worse, and it can't get any worse. bad health care the most expensive price. we have to repeal and replace obamacare. >> moderator: secretary clinton, same question, because at this point, social security and medicare are
10:32 pm
money. will you, as president, will you consider a grand bargain, a deal that includes both tax increases and benefit cuts to try to save both programs. >> clinton: well, chris, i am on record as saying that we need to put more money into the social security trust fund. that is part of my commitment to raise taxes on the wealthy. my social security payroll contribution will go up, as will donalds, assuming he can't figure out how to get out of it. replenish -- >> trump: such a nasty woman. >> clinton: by making sure that we have sufficient resources. and that will come from either raising the cap and/or finding other ways to get more money into it. i will not cut benefits. i want to enhance benefits for low income workers and for women who have been disadvantaged by the current social security system. but what donald is proposing
10:33 pm
result in a $20 trillion additional national debt. that will have dire consequences for social security and medicare. and i'll say something about the affordable care act, which he wants to repeal. the affordable care act extended the solvency of the medicare trust fund. so if he repeals it, our medicare problem gets worse. the long-term health care drivers, we've got to get costs down, increase valley, emphasize wellness. i have a plan for doing that, and to get entitlement spelling under control with more resources and smarter decisions. >> moderator: this is the final time, i believe to both of your delight, that he will be on stage together. i would like to end it on a positive note. you have not agreed to closing statements, but it seems to me in a funny way that might make it more interesting because you haven't prepared closing statements. so i'd like you each, were going to put a clock up.
10:34 pm
the final debate, to tell the american people why they should elect you as the next president. this is another new mini segment. secretary clinton, your turn to go first. >> clinton: well, i would like to say to everyone watching tonight, that i am reaching out to all americans. democrats, republicans, and independence. because we need everybody to help make our country what it should be, to grow the economy, to make it fairer, to make it work for everyone. we need your talents, your energy, your ambition. i have been privileged to see the presidency up close, and i know the awesome responsibility of protecting our country and the incredible opportunity of working to try to make life better for all of you. i have made the cause of children and families really my life's work. that is what my mission will be in the presidency. i will stand up for families against powerful interests,
10:35 pm
to make sure that you have good jobs with rising income, that your kids have good education, from preschool through college. i hope you will give me a chance to serve as your president. >> moderator: secretary clinton, thank you. mr. trump? >> trump: she is raising the money from the people she wants to control. it doesn't work that way. but when i started this campaign, i started it very strongly. it's called "make america great again." we're going to make up america great. we have has to be helped. we have the greatest people in her up on our military. we don't take care of our veterans. would he care of illegal immigrants. people that come into the country illegally better than we take care of our vets. our policeman are disrespected, we need in order, but we need respect too. our inner cities are disaster. you get shot walking into a store. i will do more for african-americans and latinos
10:36 pm
all she has done is talk to the african-americans and to the latinos, but to get the vote, then they come back, say, we'll see you in four years. we are going to make america strong again, and we are going to make america great again, and it has to start now. we cannot take four more years of barack obama, and that is what you get when you get her. >> moderator: thank you both. secretary clinton -- hold on just a minute. want to thank you for participating in all three of these debates. that brings an end to these debates. we want to thank the university of nevada, las vegas, and its students for having us. now the decision is up to you. while millions had already devoted, election day, november 8th, just 20 days way. one thing everybody here can agree with, we hope you will go vote. it is one of the honest and obligations of living in this great country.
10:37 pm
[applause] >> frivolity from unlv. thus ends 90 minutes of fun and frivolity at unlv, the final of three presidential debates sponsored by the presidential debate commission, is now in the books from las vegas, and hillary clinton and donald trump will leave it for you to decide. there were many th presidential cycles, but none more unusual and somewhat shocking than what we heard tonight from donald trump. the nominee to be republican president of united states refused to say that he would accept the results of this election. he said i will make a decision at the time, and in the meantime, i will keep you in suspense. secretary clinton called that horrifying.

? i'm never gonna fall in line ? ? your future is not mine ? ? your future is not mine ? it's not uncommon for autistic kids to flap their hands. and so when i saw that, that was completely disqualifying. i'm a republican, but this election is so much bigger than party. my son max can't live in trump world. so i'm crossing party lines and voting for hillary. i don't always agree with her, but she's reasonable. and she's smart. she can work with people to solve problems. i want to be able to tell my kids that i did the right thing

contrast hotspots around the world i think in general lucrative and donald trump are both prepared for this debate both had some very strong moments throughout the course of it as well. in terms of substance and issues and how they interact with each other yes there are instructions but not nearly as many as we saw in the round to their striking contrast around three feet from what was on the first to pick us they both had

job creation be hiking the master there? >> very interesting. if hillary clinton who focused on broad range of issues beyond renegotiating trade deals donald trump hammering the theme of going after nafta. of changing it for changing trade deals to him that is a key to job growth for combined with tax cuts clinton maintained his tax cuts would driver the national debt significantly for and how they conduct all that starting with hillary clinton. >> one of the ways you great job this by investing in people. i do have investments investments new jobs investments in education skill training and opportunities for people to get ahead and stay ahead. >> am going to renegotiate nafta i can't make a great deal will go terminate nafta to create new deals will penetrate

i've seen what can happen as the result of hate. my son matt was murdered in laramie, wyoming, in 1998. he was befriended by two men in a bar who pretended to be gay. they offered him a ride home, and when he was in their car, they robbed him and beat him. they drove matt out to the prairie and tied him to a split-rail fence, then beat him some more and left him for dead. in the aftermath of matt's death, my family saw the best of america were shown. so when i see the hate that donald trump has brought to his campaign for president, it terrifies me. i'd like to punch him in the face, i'll tell ya. ahh, i don't know what i said, uhh, i don't remember. he's a mexican. i could stand in the middle of fifth avenue and shoot somebody, and i wouldn't... words have an influence. violence causes pain. hate can rip us apart. i know what can happen as the result of hate, and donald trump should never be our president.

but i tell you the significant changes on the way. really for the first time since going back to like mid april we've got a significant cools not a cold snap the pool snap on the way. we had 80s to near 90 today. high in tampa officially 88 degrees just four degrees above the average and just missed the record high by one for record high 89 setback in 2007. the weather maps repair this northeast wind now going back to not this past sunday, but the sunday before that.alk about a stagnant weather pattern northeast wind we been very warm along the west coast and cooler along the east coast because of the wind coming off the atlantic though it's pretty good low to mid-70s and the dew points are fairly low. even if the cold front was not
10:55 pm
points and low 60s daytime highs in the mid-80s tough to complain about that combo in the winds up in speed a lot of high water still along the east coast. with the full moon a little while ago that produce significant flooding down in miami and the storms have gone by have kept wave action up and looks like perhaps some tropical development in the bahamas 60 percent next two and five days. low presre our way. you can make a case that once this gets going it has this way it will help to drag down cooler and drier weather on the backside as a cold front moves by on friday. european model has some slight development this is not going to be a major hurricane heading to the east coast probably a tropical or subtropical storm if that will be a big rainmaker in new england. with a big start in a country
10:56 pm
on the backside so dryer cooler weather comes in for probably about 3 to 4 days with no sign at all of summertime humidity coming back anytime soon. that's good. tomorrow day like today in the mid to upper 80s and then the cold front and friday rush down the state i don't have the rain chances in the forecast but there could be a sprinkler to and then check this out. these are low temperatures for pete do you want a little bit cooler we can do that. how about sunday morning mid-50s inland and low to mid-60s near the coast. we slowly modify early next week. tonight we stay mostly clear and nice down to 69 sunshine is back tomorrow with a high back up to 87.n friday the front goes through i think pretty much unnoticed as it turns less
10:57 pm
great weather for any high school football games friday night. will be baking on friday night. mid-80s after that the weekend is really really good. 70s for highs in 50s and 60s below spirit even next week looks good as we bounce back into the 80s. bounce back to you. >> we like that. low humidity that's all we care about. being diagnosed with cancer is painful enough. >> then come the cost >> coming up next help
