scoop on clinton and trump. charley leduff breaks down the battle between the establishment and the trump movement and where we go from here. matt has new numbers and rejections. this is money, power & politics. >> let's start with 2016 from the mouths of babes. these second and fourth graders summed up what a lot of grown-ups were thinking. >> who wld >> nobody. >> same. >> same. >> nobody. i >> i would want obama again. >> obama had low approval ratings for much time in office. by his admission he failed to bring us together. but his approval rating shot up when voters weighed him against the choices to replace him. >> it's stressful as a young person. it's scary these are the two they pull together.

race less than three weeks to election day. the two most unpopular nominees in modern history, deep rooted anger on both sides and psychiatrists say it's hurting people across the nation. >> we are getting so many phone calls. we start seeing more patient because of the anxiety level that was stable before. people are losing sleep. >> in a new minutes we'll show you hoe the race is affecting friendships and disrupting lives in tampa bay and what comes next. first the how the third debate may have changed things. perspective from chris wallace. he sat down with russell on good day and told us what trump said to him after the debate. i got to tell you my friend. i was a nervous wreck for you. then when it was all said and done, i kobt couldn't have been prouder of you. you were great. >> thank you. thank you very much. that was true for a lot of my friends and family. i'm glad to know that you and

nervous wreck. it's a daunting experience. i will say for at least the first ten minutes of the debate, i heard this voice asking questions and i'm thinking who is that. of course, it's me. it was an out of body experience. but then about ten minutes in i relaxed and had a good time. it's very challenging because, you know, it's not just the questions you prepared and i had prepared and researched a ton of them. but it's also those on the fly when do i interrupt. when i do let them go. bring them back to the subject matter. wehad a discussion of immigration that turned into the middle east and russia. if they were in like a referee and prize fight. if they fight cleanly you let them go. >> after the debate hillary clinton came up and shook your hand. donald trump stayed back a second. then he came and shook your hand. he stayed there a little bit longer and talked to you.
11:39 pm
then? >> oh, yeah. yeah. just real quickly clinton came and said thank you. then it was interesting because the way the stage opposed to some of the others where her husband and daughter could walk up there was a security barrier. there were some stairs. they couldn't get there. she said do you think i can go down there? i said secretary i think you can do whatever you want. she walked down. then trump came and clearly waited to let her go. they didn't others face very much. he said, good job and that he thought it was the best of the debates. it was very friendly and come complementary despite the fact i asked tough questions. it was very friendly. >> see you sunday. >> thank you, russell. you can stop being nervous for me it's okay. >> good. it's over. i can breathe again.
11:40 pm
wallace. time for incite from matt. thank you for joining us. >> thank you. >> changes to talk about in georgia and florida. >> we do. in florida we have hillary clinton is now leading in this state. she's at 49%. four points behind is donald trump. where as in georgia, you have the complete opposite. georgia trump is leading at 50% and she is four percent behind him. we said before, craig, the two states voted the same or in the polls dove now we see the separation. >> what drives the separation? what's going on in one state versus the other if they matched up a few weeks ago. >> television needs to much. donald trump snot running much here. there's not much television to speak of. where as clintons organization are pounding him on the airways and that's making the difference. in florida, independents are massively going with clinton right now. in georgia independents are massively going with trump.
11:41 pm
are already voting by the hundreds of thousands across the nation and here in florida. if trump is down four points as your poll shows, at what point can he turn that around? what will he have to do? >> he has a chance to turn it around. the poll also shows that donald trump is leading among those who say early voting. of the early vote right now he's not trailing. so he's got an opportunity, if his campaign can get enough sense to put ads on tv. if he is getting a hurting right now on those ads that are run against him. but if he can get on television he has a chance. it's only a four point different in both states. on the other side, in georgia, that could become a dead evening race. >> you've got a very close race in the florida senate race here. that's something. >> very close. you and i were talking about a couple of days ago the fact the democratic senatorial committee decided to pull out of florida.
11:42 pm
finished. he's dead even. it's the presidential race dragging rubio down and lifting mrphy up. i think it's going to be that presidential race that both of them have to ride as the wave to get their both advertising. that's not an issue. it's the presidential race that will drive which one wins. >> in congress republicans have a 60 seat margin. yet you have this hand wringing from republican leader across the nation fearing they can lose the majority. do you think that can in the releases out today. i don't trust polls for the first time in my life. we use the best and that's opinion savvy. that's been dead on. but i don't know the turnout modelful it's such an unusual year. we had so many crazy things happen. it's possible you could see a wave go one direction and the democrats take over both the senate and the house. it's also possible we could be wrong and donald trump could come sweeping into office and the republicans would be safe. i don't think the pollsters know
11:43 pm
left? people locked in one side or the snoer >> yeah but they swing back and forth. we've been able to see the numbers ping-ponged back and forth. we had polls in the past where trump was leading in florida. they were tied. now four down. it's independent voters who are the ones that can go back and forth. the next poll we do if the undecided is any higher that will mean someone is changing their mind. before someone changes their mind they go to undecided first. >> good incite. thank you for your time. >> coming up. charley leduff shows us how the republican lead dismissed and charley leduff shows us how the republican lead dismissed and dismissed the kids don't know how to act fake. charley leduff shows us how the republican lead dismissed and dismissed the i like your face. so we're learning to be more like them.

11:45 pm
trump may be down in the polls in the projections strongly favor hillary clinton but you can't say it's over just yet because trump has shown time and time again that you underestimate him at your own pearl. the republican lead greatly earlier this year, last year. trump won the nomination because working class republicans rebelled against the establishment. they specifically rebelled against traditional positions on trade and trickle down economics. charley leduff shows us what that means and where we go from here. >> we've been weak. >> there is a class war among republicans. in an attempt to explain the appeal of trump, the manhattan billionaire who lives in a

republican magazines have been mocking a hyperthet kal work class white man named mike. this make believe mike hails from a real life up state new york hamlet called garbit. they describe mike as a trump voter. an out of work welfare cheat, high on ox cotton who abandoned his kids. instead of whining about wall street and trade deals mike ought to put down his her there's work. the truth about down scale communities is they deserve to die. economically they are negative assets. morally they are indefensible. imagine, big talk from behind the keyboard. we decided to physically go to new york to find, mike. since working class white people like mike are half the republican voters.
11:47 pm
do you know where garbit is? >> i have no clue. >> you know anybody named mike. they need a real change. which means they need u-haul. if you want to live get out of garbit. i say what the hell are they talking about? that's insane. >> it's that way. >> and once you find the cross roads of garbit about 20 miles sot of rochester you realize there is no mike from garbit. >> i mike in garbit. >> there's not a mike? >> not that i know of. i don't know everybody. >> but no mike? >> no mike. >> there's no mike. there's a kevin whose dad's name is mike but no mike. so let's settle for kevin. do you use heroin? >> no. >> are you miserable? >> not really. i'm a nurse myself. >> you're a nurse. you work? >> yeah. i worked yr general motors
11:48 pm
mexico. >> kevin works two nursing jobs but earns less than at gm where he made windshield wipe r motor like hick father and grandfather before him. there's a lot of struggling people like kevin in new york. a state that's lost hundreds of thousands of good paying factory jobs overseas. gm, kodak, corning, to name a few. good thing there's cheap imports at wal-mart because kevin can't >> where's that watch made? >> probably china. >> what's it say? >> philippines. >> made in the philippines. what about the shirt? >> probably made in china. >> vietnam. >> vietnam. yeah. everything is. >> where's the shoes made? >> probably china. >> let me see. >> indonesia. what about those?
11:49 pm
indonesia. kevin doesn't draw a government check. doesn't do checks or keep beer in his frej. he is, however, a single parent raising a teenage son and the son, named junior, will graduate next year and join the army. >> why you want to do the military so badly? >> serve my country. not have many people plan on doing it. >> what do you think of your old man? if he can you not sitting here what yowled you tell me about your dad going for nursing and everything from a factory that was probably hard. i love you. i look up to you. thanks for raising me as a single parent. it wasn't easy. >> i just want the best for you. i rather have you go to college for a year or two ap then if you want military go that route. >> town and country family.

like garbit, new york. it would do the political establishment good to get out of air office towers and visit places instead of mocking the man that only exists in their imagination. >> what have the republicans done for you? >> i don't know to be honest with you. >> watch more of our stories on our youtube channel. search for craig patrick money, power page. you'll find our investigations of money and politics, our humor segments and prior shows you may have missed. coming up. we'll go one on one with floridas republican party boss. does he share trump's concerns about voter fraud. what does he make of the

let's bring in blazing chairman of thank you for joining us. >> pleasure to be here. >> let's chart with trumps claim of widespread or tremendous voter fraud. i know it occurs. we found it but do you think it's to the scope of widespread or tremendous as trump claimed? >> what i'd say is we are seeing some things here in the state of florida that is cause for concern. first thing you look at is the democrat party nomination for hillary clinton was rigged. bernie sanders would have had to won each and every state by a
11:53 pm
superdelegates. we look at the videos where you have democrat operatives clearly and openly talking about gaming the system. and what happened this week in florida where the florida democrat party on behalf of the hillary clinton campaign actually asked a judge to count the votes of people who are not registered in the state of florida. that is scary stuff. it's unprecedented and would have created chaos at the polls. >> do you have any concerns about trump's statement during the debate and there after in suspense and would not necessarily accept the results of the election? >> what i would say is donald trump is a showman. i think that was a little bit of gamesmanship. it was meant to rally his base. at the end of the day donald trump knows and believes in the integrity of our electoral process. so i think it was just more about him being a showman and showing that he is clearly not a politician and he doesn't and is not political tack.
11:54 pm
projections that make hillary clinton the heavy favorite at this point. do you think the polls are wrong? if so, how and why? >> i do think the polls are a little off. for a couple of reasons. one thing if you look during the primary the poll weres inconsistent. but what i think is happening is it's not counting what we call a shadow vote for mr. trump. people out being sampled by the pollsters and people who are not registered to vote who are going to go out and vote for mr. trump. what does that amount to 1%? 5%? we don't know. we do know the closer the polls are going to be the more pronounced and more of an effect that is shadow vote will have. >> thank you for your time. >> my pleasure. coming up charleys world of politics and how to deal with the race that's stressing people
11:56 pm
we let off our show with a look at why people want this race to end. clinton and trump both have a good deal of baggage. the most unpopular father or mother knees in modern history and turned ugly. psychiatrists say it's driving up stress. how it's also burning friendships and what we can do about it.
11:57 pm
not want it to be. >> it's all over social media. it's everywhere. >> family, friends it's a constant conversation. even at work it's a conversation. >> this year it seems there's no e escape from the political debate. >> i want it over. >> a study done by the american psychological association found that 52% of adults, republicans and democrats, find the 2016 election to be a very or somewhat significant source of stress. millennials and those over 71 feel it the most. university poll the election has cost them a friendship. >> people who let their friendships suffer because they disagree are not very mature. >> people can get angry and develop a group mentality and stop thinking for themselves. >> doctor rice recently wrote a blog on preserving relationships despite the strain of political views. she has advice. >> it's okay to not talk about it. if you're talking to somebody
