every ballot has to be signed by the voter when they mail it in and thousands of them come in with either no signature or one signature that does not match the signature they have on file, and so take a look. 671,000 have cast ballots by mail in the bay area, and of those, 1421 have a questionable signature and 822 have no signature at all. that means .33%, some 2200 set aside for now. an affidavit will be sent to them all and have to be filled out and returned by 5:00 on monday in order for their vote to count. so far the count between republicans and democrats is just about even, and so 2200 votes can make a difference. only 537 votes gave the presidential to bush in 2000, so

in st. pete, brooksville has a 70, bradenton 73 and inland 60's to near 70. the weekend forecast looks good, there will be a drop in the humidity. so nighttime lows in the low to mid 60's and daytime highs in the mid 80's, about picture-perfect, a cond front will slide down the state late tomorrow and tonight and behind it it's really about the drop in the dewpoint, pick up a little bit, and high pressure will literally camp over the east coast i think for most of next week, and that means more dry weather. this is a model run between now and wednesday of next week, and somehow the models find a couple hundredths of an inch of rain. i don't know where it's going to come from, but that's it, so less than a tefnt of an inch of rain between now and the widle
