evan lambert is live at west shore plaza with a look at what security measures are in place there. evan? >> this weekend is the real test for officers that are out here to protect shoppers during this busy holiday season. they fanned out at shopping malls and shopping centers and obviously they are there to deter crime, but if it does happen, they want to be there to respond to it and monitor it. so after a slow morning this morning, people did start centers in tampa and beyond for this black friday shopping holiday. police and deputies were there too, sometimes in an undercover capacity. police agencies have beefed up patrols of malls like international and west shore plazas. officers ran bike patrols and had officers in uniform and plain clothes. they also got a bird's-eye view, looking for any suspicious activity and making their presence known. it's something that will
