received a call from an alarm company. deputies responded and the scene on your screen is what our cameras rolled on this morning. you're seeing the impact, the damage left behind, the front store front glass is shattered. you can see empty rifle racks. a huge mess left behind and detectives are going to be checking out surveillance cameras for any leads in this case. now, we can tell you that this is a variety of firearms and accessories. it's unclear what specific brands or what specific types of firearms are missing from this location. these are details that detectives are going to be working to sort out as they get information from the owners, the managers of this business location. we can tell you it's located again in a strip mall. at last check we're told none of the other businesses here appear to be targeted and there are no

back side of the strip mall as well. in addition, some businesses do appear to have some security bars near the front entrance. a sergeant i spoke with earlier today said that tampa arms company did not appear to have any sort of security bars near that entryway where that shattered glass is located. a lot of questions still out there, still a lot of uncertainty as far as who might be responsible for this crime. we will c keep you posted and bring you new details as soon as the information becomes available. back to you. >>russell: we'll check with you later. thank you. >>laura: a developing story out of cot only -- colombia this morning. a plane crashed with 81 people on board. >>jennifer: this is tragic. some of those 81 passengers are members of a brazilian soccer team. there are survivors. this is video of one of them arriving at the hospital. five people are still alive.

18-year-old is accused of stabbing several people after driving his car over a curb outside one of the shootings on campus. ohio state police officer who was nearby checking on a gas leak fatally shot him. >> i thought it was an accident until the guy came out with a knife. i wasn't processing all of it. >> people really running and really screaming. i'm like, going on. then i heard three gunshots from about the same area and i was like, crap. what do i do? >>laura: investigators are trying to figure out the motive for the attack. they say that he was a somali refugee who went on facebook to express anger over the treatment of muslims around the world. he was a student at the university. we may find out if trevor dooley will get out of bond.

from valrico accused of fatally shooting david james during an argument on a basketball court. it happened in 2010. he was found guilty and given eight years in prison but an appeals court said that errors were made during the sentencing. his lawyers the him set free on bond until the new trial starts. the victim's family is fighting that. >>laura: lawyers for a former lakeland teacher will ask a judge to reduce her 22-year prison sentence. the two students that jennifer victor had sex with were participant even though they were underage and she has mental health issues and cannot get the appropriate help in treatment. she's done a year and a half behind bars. >>russell: and tampa police are looking for the person who vobed a valet at bern's steakhouse. the valet was walking into an alley when he was held up. it's the same area as two previous robberies. bern's put lights near the alley after it happened in may. >>laura: who will be donald trump's secretary of state?

it's miserable. and of course, the big fires in gatlinburg. if they don't get enough rain to put the fires out, at least it's helping firefighters and that will be the case over the next week or so as we're going to get multiple systems to move through the southeast and bring tons of rain into those areas. fantastic. for us, not so much. we may get a 30% rain chance come point, let's just get the fires out in the southeast and by thursday morning, this front will eventually come close enough, it may peter out a little bit. we may get a couple of quick showers now. when i say a couple of quick showers, we're talking about a 30% rain chance on thursday. see how thin that little line of rain is? so it's not going to be much. and then after that, we'll dry things out for a couple of days.

but the lion share of the rain will be in the place in the southeast they need it the most. that's good news. partly sunny, breezy, 82 for a high temperature today which is fantastic, right? that's about seven degrees above normal for this time of year. tonight warm and a bit muggy. you're likely to wake up in a very similar setup to this morning. mid to upper 60s. upper 60s along the coast. mid 60s inland and then breezy and humid tomorrow. your high temperature up around 83 de the coastal waters. as pretty as it is, we're looking at a moderate chop today with seas two to four feet. high tide at 3:09 this afternoon. another 30% rain chance look like it wants to work in early next week. very early next week. but after the next couple of days in the 80s, at least the high temperatures will get back in the 70s. >>vanessa: thank you. we have sky fox in tampa and they're overhead dale mabry.

mcdonalds in tampa. >>russell: workers demanding $15 an hour. ken is there right now. >> they demanded $15 an hour. they were here probably about 100 people or so. the only thing that they did that was a little bit disruptive was they went to the side of the building. they went on the property that was if you want to really cut hairs, it was illegal because it was trespassing. talked to the cops about that. they said we certainly would not make an arrest because of that particular thing. now they're goi projects. they're going to make two more stops before the day is done. did you accomplish what you wanted to accomplish? >> of course. every action we do is a success. we have plenty of strikers that are basically putting their jobs at risk every day but they come out today and put their job at risk and go on strike and federally protect ourselves. so yeah. a lot of victories. >> you guys are not asking for an increase in salary.

apple's app store and that number continues to grow by the day. fox medical team is here now to talk about a couple of cool new apps related to the health world and good morning. >> there's a health app and within that health app, there's something there that will help other people in the event that you die suddenly. and that is organ donation, how important is organ donation? we don't want anyone to do that, we don't want anyone to die prematurely but it does happen. you can go on your phone, into that health app and it will ask you a few questions. one thing that was troubling to me, it does ask you for the last four of your social but that's not going to apple. it's going straight to the organ donation group. they're saying just because you certify that you want to be an organ donor on your driver's license, which i done, of course, it doesn't mean if you're somewhere else around the country that they will have that
