morning. nicholas humphrey put them through a terrifying ordeal, he threatened to kill hostages, we had information he was putting the gun to the back of the head at a couple of points. based on that ?the threats and that activity escalated through the event. >> this was going on in the lobby two people were hiding inside the bank and the suspect didn't know break as they ran out s.w.a.t. ran in. >> they placed themselves between the hostage taker and hostages and rescuing them upon seaing the s.w.a.t. he was rendered. we took him into custody. and save the lives of the hostages. >> the hostages were taken to the library down the street. we were there when he they met p with family and friends and went home.

a traffic offense and arrested in hillsborough county on a battery domestic charge in february of this year. kelly joyce, fox 13. >> he went into the bank with a dog. the dog was unharmed and handed over to animal control. developing a truck hit a man in a motorized wheelchair. the man on the scooter was trying to cross missouri avenue right here when he was struck. he watts flown to bay front that's the latest we have now. a trinity man is in trouble for selling a fake burial plot to a woman. the pasco sheriff said 49-year-old michael ritz sold a plot through grace memorial gardens in march and charged the customer $2410 n november she went to the funeral home said she changed her mind about it. they determined he pocketed the money putting his name on the check and never told the funeral

it did reimburse the woman. >> a scare when she wakes up to find a man standing at the foot of her bed. it was this man. she screamed to get out of the house but before he left he stopped to pet her cat. he didn't hurt the woman. police found him through evidence that he left at the scene. he is charged with burglary of an occupied dwelling. an officer out in washington shot and killed responding to a that gunman barricaded himself in a house and held the place at bay for 12 hours. and he used two children as shields. a s.w.a.t. member shot and killed him. the children were not hurt. can you hear the gunfire that went on all night. that neighborhood locked down while it was going on. >> there is a lot of yelling before the gunshots, they said

they did not start the gunfire. the officer was shot several times he died after surgery. he had been with the department for 15 years. three more people are found dead in gatlinburg, tennessee that makes ten killed in the wildfires. officials say they are getting closer to lifting orders. they hope to have residents back in. 14,000 people and tourists had to be evacuated when the caused a wildfire to spread. more than 400 homes and businesses were destroyed. dolly parton set up a fund to help. each family affected by the fires will be given 1000-dollar as month for six months to get back on their feet. good woman. >> that's a great thing. some manatees were stuck in lake tarpon when we had the rain. now the weather is cooling off and time to get them out.
