>> what does that feel like to be out. >> he was moving fast with the walker and didn't answer any questions on wednesday a judge released him out on bond. he is appealing his con conviction for a second time. he won and granted a new trial. later the court revised the ruling saying he would get a new appeal. he claims there were errors made during the jury instructions and the attorney was ineffective. that decision has y decided on but you may remember back in 2010. he is accused and convicted of killing david james during an organize on the court over a skateboarder. his girl was 8. she is now a teen. the jury didn't buy it. he was convicted and serving a prison sentence. he served two years of that already but again we're waiting to make a decision.

a tense scene at a credit union when a robber took hostages during a standoff with the police. at one point the robber put a gun to one of the hostage's head. it lasted when the people in the bank made a run for it. that's when s.w.a.t. stormed in. all 11 people were released. he brought a dog with him into e robbery. tonight that dog is with animal control. >> the governor wants law officers to get a pay raise. he want as raise for troopers, wildlife officials. it will be in the recommendation and give that to the lieutenant governorrors. the vote in march. the governor has not said if he will recommend a raise for other workers. the largest solar panel enstall ser opening up shop in florida

tacoma ending on thursday with the death of a cop killer. a police officer was shot on wednesday afternoon responding to a domestic disturbance call a shooter barricaded himself in the house taking children hostage, we went in and took one of the kids when we had a chance. he grabbed the other and a officer thought he had a shot and took it. the suspect is diseased. the unharmed t is unclear what provoked the confrontation but witnesses say they did everything by the book and the suspect seemed to lose control before firing the first shots; they just said they wanted to talk to him. and gunfire started and it was not them that started it. >> there was yelling before i heard the shots. >> the officer was 45 rears old and veteran of the police department. after his death was announced a
