a developing story now in tampa: where a bay area charity will be struggling to feed the homeless today. the "st. vincent de paul society" normally feeds a huge crowd, every ?friday. but last night, the charity took a big hit... a car crashed right into the food bank! and it couldn't have happened at a worse time. fox 13's shayla reaves is ?live outside the food bank

a developing story in pasco county.. where deputies are searching for a man they call " armed and dangerous." authorities say this man.. 26-year-old sanchez savage.. has a history of

for active warrants out of georgia.. he's accused of running from law enforcement.. possession of marijuana.. and obstruction.. if you see savage or know where he might be... call 9-1-1 right away. there is also a reward of up to three ?thousand dollars for info leading to his arrest... from crimestoppers. you can call them at the number on your screen... 1- 800-873-tips. in sarasota: a mother and father are now facing charges... after police say they had their kids living in ?deplorable conditions. the five chidlren had no fresh water.. and little food. some of the pictures are just too disturbing to show you. but they were bad enough... that sarasota police arrested amanda dean and joseph dromeshauser and charged them with child neglect. a tip came in and officers found rotting food, bottles filled with urine, and human waste throughout the house. thankfully the children don't

officers asked the couple why they let things get so bad. dromeshauser told them it was ?his fault and he had no excuses. he was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. the five kids remain in the custody of d-c-f. the search is on for a group of burglars behind a ?series of break-ins. and it looks like they could be teenagers. p cellphone stores early thursday morning.... smashing the door with a piece of concrete. detectives say they got away with a bunch of i-phones. there was a similar break-in earlier this week at a metro p-c-s in spring hill. if you know anything about these cases... call the pasco sheriff's office. thompson was flown to bayfront health.. and died shortly after arriving. officials say he was crossing in a crosswalk - but the light was ?red. no charges have been filed. today in new york: florida's attorney general has a ?possible job interview. pam bondi is meeting donald trump at trump tower... to talk about whether she has a future role in his administration. bondi is already an advisor for the transition team. and there's talk trump may nominate her for his "drug czar." but any nomination me hearing for bondi... where the controversy over a campaign donation from trump, would likely come up. the donation came, while bondi was deciding whether to investigate "trump university." and trump spent thursday taking another "victory tour." first, he went to indianapolis to announce his new deal with "carrier" air conditioning. then, he went to cincinnati last night, to kick off his national "thank you" tour. trump also used the rally to announce that he's picking retired general "james mattis" as his nominee for secretary

ties to tampa. he served for more than three years as commander of central command , at macdill air force base... before retiring in 20-13. and... president obama will stop in tampa on tuesday. the president is set to meet with special operations command on macdill air force base. he will give a speech on counter-terrorism and meet with the troops, thanking them for their service. this will be the president's first visit to the base since 20-14.. and it could be his ?last one, in office. and a major announcement from the white house... to help tpa new "tech-hire" community. that official designation comes with funding.. to train about a thousand people between the ages of 17 and 29 and prepare them for tech jobs.. over the next three years. tampa innovation alliance c-e-o mark sharpe says there will be a special focus.. on making sure all

designation for tampa.. comes after an announcement over the summer that the area would be getting a 3-point-8 million dollar training grant. today in tampa: the hard rock casino is ?clearing the air... for a new expansion. the casino will unveil a new "smoke free" table game area. it will be r salt" restaurant and have a view of the pool area. this is the beginning of the property's latest round of upgrades. it will eventually include a 30 ?thousand square foot premium gaming area, a new poker room, another restaurnat, and another parking garage. the ribbon cutting ceremony is set for four p-m. the drop-off line got a little dangerous, at one local elementary school this week. especially after one mom made one ?wild discovery. this video comes to us

was in the car circle during drop-off wednesday at ruskin elementary school. that's where she spotted the gator... walking along the fence near the school's sidewalk.. the school's vice principal says they called trappers out, but by the time they arrived, the gator had wandered away on its own. the gates to the school are shut from that parking lot.. so we're told no children were in danger. heading home is supposed to be a ?happy occasion. but for some people today in tennesssee... it could be ?terrifying. up next: they may not even have a ?home to go back to. plus: its getting pretty cold in ?alaska right now. no surprise there. but the real surprise... is how cold it could get, in the ?rest of the country... in just a matter of days. break 1: 2:00break 2: 1:45

later this morning, the people of gatlinburg, tennessee will finally be allowed to return to their homes. but many are home to return to. the area was devastated by wildfires earlier this week. more than seven ?hundred structures were damaged or destroyed. and the death toll has now been raised to at least 11 people. the city has been closed to only first responders the past few days. but this morning at ten, the mayor will allow businesses and homeowners to finally survey the damage. people up in alaska are getting the ?real thing.

pick a side. twix. time to talk some sports this morning. and for some reason, i don't think dave got a lot of sleep last night. yup... my cowboys were playing thursday night football. and this one... came down to the wire. and this game definitely wasnt pretty... for ?either team. dallas playing ?in minnesota... riding a ten game winning streak. but the cowboys just couldn't hold on to the ball. in the first half, they had turnovers from wide reciever "lucky whitehead" and quarterback "dak prescott." dallas still led at halftime... 7 to 3. vikings q-b sam bradford got hurt in the first half, but returned later in the game. he even tossed a

?two. the vikings tried the two point conversion to ?tie it... it sails in the back of the end zone. bradford calling for a flag after he gets his ?facemask grabbed... doesnt get the call. cowboys escape... winning 17 to 15. and they now have an 11 game winning streak. and some huge injury news in the nfl. patriots tight end "rob gronkowski"... is likely ?done for the season. he's expected to have ?back surgery later today for a herniated disk, which should sideline him several weeks. and the team does ?not expect to have him back, the rest of this season. but they'll wait to see the results of today's procedure... before they completely rule it out. gronk is arguably the best tight end in the league... but he's had ?several injuries
