recall on the road at this point. >> think of the new ceo mary barro as to what she just stepped into. latest involved faulty ignition switches. gm is recalling this time, nearly 7.6 million more vehicles here in the u.s., the cars date back to 1997. this late's announcement the brings total recall to this year alone to 28 million. the company is aware of these three deaths involved with the most recent recall vehicles but gm says it has no conclusive evidence faulty switches caused crashes. victims impact by the faulty ignition switches will be compensated. kenneth fineberg the top compensation expert hired by gm says there is no cap on the amount which can be paid to the relatives of those killed or victims suffering from serious injuries. fineberg says he will be personally involved in the process.

this fall. it could mean cuts of some kind if they do not produce that 93 million-dollar. the last night school reform commission again passed a $2.6 billion budget based on the votes that the state will come through with funding. governor corbett has yet to sign a new budget, new fiscal year begins today. one school supporters was at src meeting last night and they hope the src and state of best interest at heart when making these budget decisions. >> my goal, to make sure decision makers realize that parents should be part of the decision making process. that there are children that they are speaking about. they are in the dollars and sent to us. you know it is not a job to us. they are our future. we love them. we want the needs to be met for them and we should be in on the conversation. >> reporter: school district is hoping that a proposed cigarette tax will get them

sunshine, one chance of the thunderstorm far toward north and west later on this evening. fast forward to tomorrow we will start out same way, hazy hot and sunshine but by mid afternoon we will see that front approach cutting into that heat and spark showers and storms some of which may be severe, that will continue into wednesday evening. we will see brief clearing but then our attention turns to a tropical storm arthur before we get a brief break but then you can see rain starting to have move up the coast here at 8:00 a.m. thursday, as far out, that is beginning of the tropical moisture which will interact with that cold front off shore. temperatures mainly in the 70's, 74 philadelphia, 71 pottstown, 73 in allentown. ninety-one today, 90's are back, might be a small heat wave here, we will not stay there by thursday but storms return to the forecast wednesday, and heavy rain is back thursday afternoon. this is from arthur interacting with that front but then are storms are

>> doctor mike how often would a would hand get a pelvic exam. >> it depend who you talk to. some doctors and patients get yearly pelvic exams and there are other doctors that say, every three years. this new recommendation from the american college of physicians basically questions the whole practice. do you need routine pelvic exams unless you are pregnant or symptoms. they recommend checking for cervical cancer. here's the deal, in my opinion, i have a little bit of a problem with this. number one, they looked at a number of studies and they say women can get anxious, it is uncomfortable but they don't take into account if you have family history of ovarian cancer and other things that may numbers of sexually transmitted diseases and all of those things need to be taken into account. >> i have a question. >> yes. >> why to they keep coming out
