all right. a 13 year-old girles is asleep inner led bed gets a violent wake up call in the middle of the night after being shot and hit by a bullet. >> sleeping in your bed, steve keeley and you get the shot. it is incredible. >> in winslow township. >> reporter: yeah, i'll tell you this we have talked to a dozen neighbors what they find incredible is they were all asleep in they are bed a lot of people in all of these houses. it could have been worse. a lot of bullets were fired. police were unsure of the exact number. neighbors say maybe up to ten. you can see neighbors to the right of us all out of hear house now down there all coming out wondering what was that. and everybody we have talk to out there knew it was not left over fourth of july fire works. two houses were hit this corner house and this shooting happened at pierson on hey wood drive. bullets hit this corner house there was a woman there who thought she was shot because she got hit by debris with the bullets coming through her bedroom wall. then bullets went all the way

across the street here and they still have the other house that was hit where the little girl was asleep with several other kids in the house in the same bedroom asleep. so it could have been so much worse, only one girl was hit and hit in the best possible spot because she was hit in the behind, never lost consciousness, she's stable and will be okay. she's at cooper hospital. we knew right away she would be okay because they called off medivac'd helicopter when we first heard about this and decided to drive her to cooper because she was not in a life threatening situation. neighbors still cannot believe what happened here overnight. >> well, the the fourth of july has passed and it was just a different sound. it didn't sound like a fire works, pop, pop, it was like pop, pop, pop, so you are saying there is something different about that. going to the window, i knew, 26, there was a death. i could have have been my house. i'm hoping it stopped. people need to just stop, guns, just don't kill, people kill, and we need to stop. >> it could have been my

as pornographic. >> yeah, here's where it is weird, it is a re-creation of an old ad from copper continue on, dawn. >> yeah, lot of people are talking about this one. the mother is a professional photographer, and she said that she was just trying to recreate that icon i can copper tone pictures from the 1950's, we have all seen it. she says the the photo is harmless and she's really outrage at the response. now the photographer, the mom, her name is jill white. she took a picture of perfect two-year old daughter willow at the beach, and a the picture shows they are tugging at their bottom and exposing willow's back side. that was reported to facebook. then they banned jill for 24 hours. i do concede she repose ted it with a east mow joy over her bottom and then she received another complaint that said someone reported your photo for containing nudity this report is being reviewed. your photo was reported for violating facebook's community standard on nudity and pornography. we will remove fit we find it violates this standard.

abe during that services on saturday. many of us learned of the tragedy in southwest philadelphia just hours before where four children died in the horrible fire. four year-old twin sisters. as well as a brother there was an accident in pennsylvania over the weekend where a three-year old girl and a two-year old girl died after a dresser felon top of them in the family home. the girls appear to have been playing, in or around the bottom drawer of a dresser, causing to it fall on them. the deaths of these seven children have many of us asking just why. >> people are assuming, i mean why, why did they have to die? i don't know. you have to ask god that question, you know. >> joining us to talk about the why and trying to understand these tragedies, reverend doctor allen waller, senior pastor of e nan tabernacle baptist church. great to see you. >> great to see you again. >> at the memorial for winter on saturday her godfather got

up, and said, you know, i have been angry, just last week. i have been angry. you appreciated his honesty. >> appreciate his honesty because, tragedy like this, it causes to us raise, questions, you know, it is part of the grieving process, you know, and of course i'm coming from a religious perspective but my boss, has a wonderful way of being able to handle our anger and our questions. you really have to feel your waste through this part of getting through the depth that is we don't understand: number one excepting the fairness of the unfair. the reality is we live in a broken world where things, do happen. that is not enough at times. you know, so when the the questions come up, we allow ourselves to feel through the the process. the property zest of grief, the shock, the anger, the

bargaining, the depression, but ultimately the acceptance if you are riding through. i think we have to learn to change our language, for instance, someone will ask at a funeral how did the family do? if they were crying, they would say they didn't handle it well f they weren't crying they said they stood strong. i want to suggest that is probably the wrong language because when something like this happens the the appropriate response is cry. the the appropriate response is to vocalized our questions, our concerns, our anger, and feel through this but then i'm reminded of what we see at the bottom of the screen after a stunt man does something on television and it says do not attempt this at home alone. when we're going through this and processing the four children in southwest or the child in western pennsylvania, or winter, you have got to talk about it with someone else.

we were designed to do this together. so as we are all in philadelphia, thinking about the death of children we need to see those children as our children and part of how bee process this is help that family it is so hard when you are sitting there and you see a little pink casket where a three-year old girl is in it and this is a program from the ceremony from winter larkin and perfect parents, brad and cheryl. cheryl sent me a message and said over a thousand people were in attendance at the church. she touched so much and pastor allen waller, your eulogy was profound our little angel touched so much lives and accomplished so much in three and a half years. it was signed by cheryl ape brad larkin. we are thinking of you this morning as well. it was interesting, that the godfather says his mother helped him through this too by saying i have been trying for 81 years to get where winter

is already. >> that is right. >> well, of course, i believe in heaven and i believe heaven helps me make sense in this. but also, part of making it through this whole process is believing that there is a greater purpose to everything that ever happens arrive. >> that means you have to trust god. >> you've got to trust god. for instance here it is on a monday morning and a preacher is on fox being allowed to talk to the whole city about faith and god and about how to help. >> winter did that. >> winter did that. >> the the tragedy of winter maybe helping someone we don't know because you were willing have to have us on and talking about how up to make that true. what a wonderful get if someone is listening to us right now maybe wrestling with the death of a loved one and if some small way this segment helped them. if they would let someone

know. we will let the family know, that your pain was not in vein, because you were willing to allow it to be discussed and maybe somebody is doing better, turf believe that is part of the process. i think we have to believe that whatever happens, if i were in church and i was on the quote script tour would i say all things work together for good and love the lord and call a correspondence to go his purpose f we even reject that type of language, we have to accept that there is, ultimately purpose behind everything. it may not be revealed today but those who live a little while realize that everything sort of works out and what you learn today you can use tomorrow and even your tears today will become the triumph of tomorrow. and if you go through this process, believing that, it will ultimately be all right.
