girard avenue. so volume starting to build, but again, only about five minute delays just now, us. >> just after 11:00 p.m. last night on the b near f street. person was hit, person who was hit suffered just minor injuries, thank god. and police in camden are investigating overnight shooting, a woman was shot in the neck at home along the 700 block of teal court. this is at the liberty park townhomes. the shooting happened around 2:00 this morning, the victim's condition is not known at this time. police have not released any information about the shooter. they're still looking. >> oh, one of the woman injured in the germantown avenue carjacking and hit-and-run, out of the hospital, good news there. >> doctors say the 69 year old woman by the name of thelma brown now home recovering. mother of of the three children killed remains in comb a all hit while filling

fruit to support their local church and that was last friday. two suspects are behind bars, as you know, facing murder charges. woman who got out of the hospital says they're lucky that the police pick them up, because if it was to up her they would be in body bags. some of the neighbors would have helped her. six philadelphia police officers we talk about it yesterday are in jail this morning. accused every stealing more than half million dollars in drugs and cash and whole lot more. >> indeed. this is all part of conspiracy that prosecutors say went on for about six years, what they're thinking at this point. these are the accused, former members of the department's narcotics field unit. they were indicted on corruption charges yesterday, so prosecutors saying they targeted suspected drug dealers shaking them down pretty much by any means necessary. these arrests stem from federal grand jury probe that began back in january after another officer is believed to have cooperated with authorities. >> i've been -- been a police officer for more than 40 years, than is one of the worse cases of corruption that

i have ever heard. >> instead of watching the judge here, let's see where the allegations come from. let's see who is making them. let's see what they said in the past about these allegations in courts of law. and my guess is that behind each of these allegations is nothing. >> the defendant pleaded not guilty at hearing in court. meanwhile, at 7:04 this morning, woman visits philadelphia, fighting offer attacker. police say a man tried to try to tie a rope around her neck. happened yesterday afternoon at 45th and larchwood. the woman apparently didn't go down without a fight. police say she actually tore this guy's shirt right off his body. they say they caught the guy, he's now charged not only with this case, but similar incident that happened on sunday. >> the woman by the way doing just fine. >> from out of noun. >> don't mess with her. >> wow. >> right? >> all right, turn our attention here at home. remember, we told you about the guy accused of punching the guy at the -- right in the face? he thought this guy was kind of checking out his daughter, too closely.

>> little over protective perhaps? forty-five year olds gary edwards turned himself in yesterday morning, whole thing happened at the store on south 69th street in upper darby, last week. >> craze is story, five people under arrest in connection with the wild armed robbery at a ceasar's casino in atlantic city. steve keeley first brought this story. happened july 21, 2 mask men storms the casinos, they made off with boxes of cash, nearly $200,000. nineteen year old isiah plume err, 20 year old duane morgan, there they are, also, 23 year year old aaron evans in jail. two other suspect, monday evening kelly, lance rogers, faces charges, as well. police say they found most of the cash, too. >> investigators in burlington county trying to track down two sus edge spending spree

earlier today, police say, a madota heights officer pulled the suspect over for unknown reason. he fired three shots killing the 19 year old, 19 year vet, of the force, 19 years on the police force. a scary moment for a massachusetts couple driving along interstate 95. look out. >> have you seen this picture? an axe. bear -- apparently an axe through off a dump truck, flew in their windshield. thankfully only went halfway through. landscaper driving a truck in front of them, didn't properly secure his tools. fined about 200 bucks. police say the couple that was driving the car only going about 65 miles an hour, so that was the speed limit f they had been speeding, going more than that, the axe could have broken right through their willed shield. that's awful. >> wow. >> scary. >> you have got an axe to grind. >> i won't say it. >> just google johnny carson, ed aims, that came close to being the same thing.

what's the law in pennsylvania? >> the idea is, mike, it is similar in delaware and new jersey the idea judges, prosecutors, supposed to have the common sense to make these decisions, unfortunately what happens probably because of lawyers, there is a fear there. so if the police officer gets a report that a child is unattended, when in a park or walking down the street, there may and fear that if i don't do something, and later on this child is hurt, i'm going to face being fired, litigation, the department being sued. so oftentimes they err on the side of caution. >> okay, this is about the third, fourth case in the last throw weeks. i remember the woman who had to go to work, so she drops her nine year old at public park with cell phone, with bathroom facility there. she went to jail. how -- why the law so different? why are these people going to jail? >> again, these police officers, prosecutors, are choose to go pursue t that case is very interesting, because that filed had been staying with the mom at work. using her computer, then
