a second male in the vehicle was transported via hell cooperate tore jefferson hospital this accident happened here on broad street near cowpath road around 1:00 o'clock in the morning in hatfield township. it was a one vehicle crash several blocks along broad street have been closed all morgue as police investigate this crash. police say speed was undoubt thely a a factor. the the car traveled along a bend in the road and then slammed in the pole and smashed into pieces. we saw front wheels from the car 20 feet away from the body of the car. the one man who work nearby said the crash was loud. >> it was very loud. very loud. people came from the apartment behind us too. they heard from there too. >> the car, as you probably saw, did not hold up at all. it did hit a telephone pole in the 1600 block and was split basically in half and pieces from there.

>> reporter: people have been showing up to this scene identifying themselves as friend of the victim. they were too shaken to talk to us. police say it is too early to know whether or not alcohol was a factor in this crash or just to know how fast this car was going. police say they have no direct witnesses, to this crash, and if you have any information you are urged to call the hatfield township police, mike and kerry. >> jenny, what time did that happen? >> reporter: 1:00 this morning just before 1:00 around 12:55 police were called. >> unreal. police in new jersey are searching for the driver of the hit and run vehicle in gloucester township. it happened last night on sicklerville road across from the strawberry square shopping center. police say a 22-year old man was walking in the area around 10:00 when he was hit. what hes found on the side of the road and said to be in critical but stable condition at this hour. in north philadelphia police say a man was stabbed outside of that bar right there jj's on north third

street, at duncan an avenue. police are called out right after midnight, the the victim and the the attacker know each other apparently but no word on why they were fighting. the victim was last reported in stable condition a few hours ago. 7:06. search underway for a kill shore gunned down two women in a northeast philadelphia home. >> steve keeley, round house, details. >> reporter: thinks probably most unusual murder case this whom side team has had in a while. unusual because of when, where and the age of the victim. still daze light. it was saturday. two elderly woman sat in what had been tranquil safety of their northeast philadelphia rehome. somebody that knew them or someone that had just followed them or someone just sending a signal to the old wore man's family. because the detectives have been hearing from her family and friends about this 67 year-old grandmother, believe it or not, getting death threats recently. since her grandson, who had lived with her until he was shot on the fourth of july,

and survived, the family wondering whatever he was involve in that got him shot may not have gotten his grandmother and live in friend shot and killed. police found dolly evans shot once in the head dead on her living room couch. her 59 year-old friend ruby thomas was found dead upstairs on the bedroom floor. in sign of any break in. the ladies just back from buying groceries on saturday while it was still, afternoon, dinner time saturday around 5:00 o'clock. and no break in usually means that the killer was let in. so maybe they all knew each other, which is maybe why the shooter thought, two murders was the move to make here to cover up for the much less serious robberies to keep the two latest from talking. >> she had been receiving death threats. she told me, somebody named james. >> unaudible. >> shoot my sister like that, she was so innocent.

fog developing in some spots because it didn't really cool off overnight tonight but we will see that sunburn it off very quickly. the as we go through the day hour by hour fox future cast showing a lot of sunshine. i don't think we will see any weather issues today. more fair weather clouds in the afternoon but overall it is really pretty looking out. into tonight, it is a a nice, nice evening. clear skies, late august weather. that is really shaping up to be pretty great here for our last week of summer, at least, unofficially. so still a whole month of the season but with labor day approaching it is the end that is at least in sight. widespread 50's north and west. fifty-six in pottstown. fifty-seven in allentown. it is 63 in philadelphia 57 in millville. and 56, in atlantic city. fifty-nine in wildwood. so i mentioned it will be a nice night and phillies, of course, beginning a new series now with the washington nationals, in town, 80 degrees. first pitch temperature. and sunny a and nice but we are looking at sunshine pretty quickly. sunset at 7:43. we will see temperatures drop off pretty quickly after an incorporator two.

taney dragons received a rock star reception when they return from williamsport yesterday, after, pretty darn good run at the little league world series. the dragons now, we call them, well, they are third in the nation, that is one way to look at it. there was a pretty big crowd at love park after a heart breaking loss to chicago, last week, the teams winning streak

plenty of delays there too. we will keep you posted. >> mike? over the weekend there was a young woman who was hailed a hero for a few hours and now a shocking turn off events in the search for a mother who abandoned her ten hour old baby, near a dumpster. the 16 year-old was praised saturday morning when she claims she found a baby in some shrubs next to a dumpster in michigan. we're kind of going to protect her identity here because police say that she is the the mother's baby. in an interview saturday the the teenager was asked why she thinks somebody would abandon a baby. >> i don't know, i guess they wasn't ready. i took a short cut to the store and i heard a baby crying. i was scared at first. then i went over and walk towards it and got it and brought it back home. >> well, the baby is in good condition at a children's hospital in detroit.

police say under michigan's safe haven law that young woman could have left the baby at any hospital, a police station or a fire station without any consequences. police say a connecticut mom to left her toddler in a car, while she was drunk in a bar, has posted bail. 22-year old kill sees james, there she is, was taken to a hospital, for evaluation on friday night after she passed out. police say when she boning up she began asking where is my kid. her two year old daughter was found in the car. police found the child sleeping inside a car near the bar. this woman is facing several charges. the she's out of jail after posting $50,000.01. her little girl business relatives. that woman right there is expect in court sometime in september. you know the ice bucket challenge, it is taking over the the internet and now, it is the new halloween trend. is there a former president
