police say the dad shot the boyfriend once in the head. that three two-year old boyfriend was rush to aria torresdale hospital where he was pronounced dead at 1:45 this morning. a gun belonging to the father, was recovered at the scene. both dad and daughter are right now being questioned, at northeast detectives. they have been here now for several hours, they are said to be cooperating with investigators, mike anal he can, so far no charges have been filed against police trying to figure out exactly what happens here but it appears that the tad thought boyfriend was an intruder. there is no signs of any break in here. the call did initially come in as a home invasion as an intruder in this apartment but it turns out it was the the girl's boyfriend. that is latest from the scene here back to you guys. >> apparently girlfriend 20, boyfriend 32. oh, boy. manhunt continues this

morning for gunman who ambushed two pennsylvania state troopers killing one and critically wounding the other. >> it seems like they used a rifle here. state police say they think he had formal firearms training through the military or through law enforcement. so investigators are focusing on the possibility that the killer, had an ongoing issue with police, or the government and specifically targeted the blooming grove barracks. corporal brian dickson was killed and another trooper was injured during a shift change at the barracks. the killer slipped away sparking a manhunt. >> you are a coward. you committed this spineless act and attacked the defense less troopers, shocked them, they had no opportunity to defend themselves. >> reward money is up to $75,000. trooper's funeral will be held on thursday. he leaves behind a wife and two young boys. supporters of the

philadelphia school district are rallying at the state capitol today, this morning, to push lawmakers to pass a cigarette tax bill, two bucks a pack, to help fund city schools. >> cigarette tax bill topped at gend a at pennsylvania legislators return from summer break. bill calls for a 2-dollar a pack tax, per pack of cigarettes. supporters have the bill say it is critical to fund philadelphia schools which has an 81 million-dollar deficit. superintendent says failing another to pass the bill will mean more layoffs evening class size would also increase. 7:15 on this wednesday tuesday. any improvement at all. >> there will be. end of this day will look completely different, which is kind of kruky right now. all because of the cold front in the process of making its way in the area right now. that is a good thing. we have to live through a couple more hours of rain now. we have some in the poconos mountains and rain in the lehigh valley. trenton get something rain at
