you guys in center sit friday northeast philadelphia new look on a normal rush hour day this is a crawl. imagine when it is getting three lanes merged into one and that is why it is backup, almost to the city limits at the this point. you've got probably a 10-mile backup. our helicopter is going back as far as you can sianni that gives us a sense how bad it is going into center city as we hit 7:00 o'clock and this thing is still, messing up traffic, still in the middle of the guardrail there, and that is why you have two lanes southbound closed, two lanes north bound closed. the only good news is they have it uprighted and this backhoe behind here and dumpster has donna lieutenant of work getting trash thrown out of this thing when it was flipped upside down pick up off of i-95. there is still so much trash on the street. we are seeing guys pick up pieces by hand now and now we can go to the aerial shot from the local helicopter and give you have a sense what this looks like from above. i cannot tell whether they are

on the tight shot of the tractor trailer and big dumpster or on the traffic right now but either way we are looking at a mess here on i-95, worst time of the day and worst stretch of i-95. this is the only stretch between two big sections that are undercover trucks. so this is usually the the smooth part, and the widest part of the road and you can see guardrail as we come back tooth ground shot here guardrail has been per versaceized. apparently around 3:00 the guy driving this truck southbound went over the rumble strips and that woke him up. he fell asleep at the wheel, immediately after this accident, and then the guy tried to get control of this thing and he did not get control. fortunately be in was going northbound at the time or there would have been a terrible head on crash. but one minute i van was going north bound and only thing that hit that was the sign that this guy knocked down. ironically mike and alex, the the sign says in trucks, trailers or buses in the left

lane. he hit that sign in the within left lane and then knock it into the minivan when he took over the other left lane. so this guy occupied two left lanes maybe a double violation there. mike, i heard you teasing what is coming up on the show, you have a guy that eats out of dumpsters. we could have used that guy. he culled have have got a good breakfast and help with the clean up, slight thely. >> we will send him over to do that segment with you now because that is a huge dumpster out there on i-95. they are doggy good job getting the trash out there with that backhoe or front loader, whatever they are using but will they be able to open up because guardrail is a mess. >> reporter: yeah, that is the other question. penndot will have to make that determination. we have them out here as well, because they have got to clean up the kitty litter and fuel spill, hazardous materials crews out here. we can't have people driving on kitty litter which is thick sand which can cause another accident. you bring up that point when you have got traffic on a highway going in both

as steve said there is only one lane that gets by north bound as well but the traffic is usually busiest southbound headed towards the the city from the northeast, from bucks county and everyone commuting from there. so the the best betties to avoid it all together, if in the get off at an earlier did exit. with the man avenue is a good one. jump back on at aramingo avenue. that is how to get and that one. we also want to talk about the blue route because we have a problem there. the westbound approaching the schuylkill expressway an accident is partially blocking right lane a lot of traffic backup there. on the turnpike northeast extension, past quakertown an overturn truck has the the right lane block there. and then we have a 3-mile delay, trying to get to the city from quakertown. now, in new jersey, the route 42 freeway southbound at coals road there is an accident there that has the left lane blocked. so, big problems this morning. a lot of sun glare on the roadways new that the sunnies coming up but we will give you

police corporal brian dickson was killed 11 days ago and this morning the search for eric frein continues. american 100 law enforcement agent are on the border of the pike and monroe counties with the heavy police presence near 447 and snow hill road. we were up there earlier this morning. we saw trooper vehicles lining the small back road in the middle of the forest. we are hearing that the next shift of law enforcement agents got on duty and they are taking their a ironments new. yesterday governor corbett says he trust that the pennsylvania state the police are getting closer to ending this manhunt. >> we believe that there is, i always believe is there progress, you know, troopers are out there very actively, the fbi is out there very actively amy feel confident that we should be able to apprehend this individual i'm very positive about that. >> reporter: state police say they are getting a lieutenant

school were going home. >> police say they received calls of a large group of kids about 50 of them fighting near olney transportation center. but before they could get there five shot rang out killing a tenth grade girl and hitting a 19 year-old three times. now police ape witnesses want answers. >> it just doesn't make any sense. it doesn't make any sense at all. but now we have to focus on finding the the person or persons responsible. >> it is a shame a the mother has to deal with the fact that her 15 year-old is gone now. that is hurtful. >> the teen shot during the incident is going to be okay. >> the other teen shot. philadelphia police are hoping you can help them track down, a murder suspect. >> and this is who they are looking for. forty-two year-old tam lee of the 500 block of east lycoming avenue. now police say dna links them to the murders of the two men found in the schuylkill river on august 27th. >> investigators say the men were stabbed and then dump in

the river. police responded to the 2300 block of kelly drive after receiving reports of a person screaming. they found a 23 year-old man stabbed several times. that man told police that he is with the other two victims before the the attack. police found their bodies a short time later. a $40,000 reward stand for information leading to lee's arrest and conviction. and new on to this, happening today, protesters will rally in harrisburg to push law make tours include anti gay fueled attacks as a hate crime. >> state senator larry farnase is calling on law make tours pass legislation to the crime protection law to include lesbian, gay, by sexual and transgendered citizens this comes after a group of people were accused of viciously beating a gay couple in center city earlier this month. the just yesterday the d.a. was presented the case as people believe some believe should be charged. d.a. seth williams will have a final say on any of those charges.

>> that is senator farnase's district. he lives there. a bill to give much needed, cash strapped philadelphia school district, some big time money, won approval from the state house of representatives yesterday. >> but house passed a bill authorizing a $2 a pack cigarette tax in the city. it now goes back to the senate. governor corbett says he will sign it as long as the senate passes this bill. if it becomes law district officials say the cigarette tax will pump about 83 million-dollar a year into philadelphia's schools. >> would you think senate would get it the by thursday, when the the governor signs it right away. 7:10. we are learning more about the man secret service says jumped the fence have have the white house on friday. up investigators say they have had found 800 round of ammunition in boxes and magazines in omar gonzales's car. they say help found two hatchet thes and a machete. gonzales has had previous run ins with the law. in july he was arrested in virginia for possession of a shotgun and a snipper rifle.

street this time of the day, folks coming from the northeast and bucks county to head in the city. and, since we're right at the bridge street part you can see that the traffic is moving through but that is after they have all had to go into one lane from the three lane highway. backup extend for quite a few miles, in the southbound direction of i-95. you want to try to avoid that and maybe get off cottman avenue before you get into the biggest part of the big mess there. and north bound is in picnic either. so try to avoid that part have of i-95 if you can. it is really backup. blue route, westbound, approaching the schuylkill we have an accident there that is partially blocking the right lane and that is all you need this time of the day to really back things up on that part of the blue route. on the northeast extension, just past quakertown southbound coming toward the city an overturn truck has right lane blocked there but the delay is up to 4 miles long now and in springfield
