weekend it is lauren's birthday i have to embarrass her right off the bat. this is my birthday button in our household you must wear. i don't know fit ruin your dress or not. >> i have a breast cancer opinion on one shoulder. let me borrow this. >> it's pretty special. >> i'll sport it. >> celebrating all morning long. we have lot of news to get to on this morning including that american infected with ebola virus takes a turn for the worse gathering some of the latest details on that. and a philly fiasco the son of one of the owners gets a twitter -- a tweet. he goes on a rant kind of congress fusing. what was behind it all? let's check in with your interactive weather. dominica is in the house with that. it is chilly on this objection morning. i had to grab a coat, sweater and scarf to go out with the dog. it is cold. >> we are looking at the coldest air of the city. we are clear skies. the rain is gone. but now in its place is this fall chill.

so, yes, we are waking you up to some really shocking temperatures this morning. let's start though with the big event of the day and that would be eagles game. it is going to be sunny but chill physical you're headed out to tailgate definitely bundle up. and right around game time kick off looking at a temperature of about 58 degrees. by the end of the game we'll make it into the low 60s but it is going that be chilly one from start to finish. typical fall weather. we really can't complain. but we do have the sunny skies. the winds are still a little bit strong coming out of the west. so we'll watch that and look for those winds to ease. shouldn't be too windy there for the game conditions at the linc. look at these temperatures, though. that is the story now pocono right now 34 degrees. that shocking if you head outside to see -- to feel that. 41 right now i pottstown. 47 in philadelphia. so this is definitely some of the coldest air we've look at so far in the past several months. 52 in wildwood making out pretty

mild there. 52 is not too bad to take. the winds were an issue for yesterday they're starting to die done little bit. still seeing winds out of the west in philadelphia at nine. 10 in wildwood. those will diminish through the afternoon as our low pressure continues to depart off the new england coast and we have clear skies coming in. so high today's we're looking at about 62 here in the city. tonight we'll fall back down into the 40s and 30s in the suburbs. we'll get a check of that seven day forecast coming up in a little bit. >> thank you very much, domini dominica. we are following breaking news right now. firefighters on the scene of a barn fire it's happening in kent county, delaware, in dover. we know a fire truck was involved in an accident as part of this fire. we're working to get a lot more information pass it along to you as soon as it comes in. >> also new this morning, passengers on the united airlines flight are breathing a savory love. >> their plane was met by medics in hazmat when it landed in newark, new jersey, after a

passenger came down with ebola like symptoms. >> tests showed the passenger did have not have the disease but the scare was very very real for all those passengers and family members. is a bone in a kuriakose live in the social media center. is a ben in a, a big question this whole situation is bringing up. >> reporter: you can imagine the relief when health officials finally cleared the sick patient of ebola. you can see it on the face of the passengers here and their loved ones waiting to greet them. this whole thing has passengers questioning whether airline officials are ready if there is a real ebola threat on board a flight. passengers on united flight 988 had to sit and watch totally helpless as medical experts wearing hazmat suits escorted a sick man and his daughter off the plane when it landed in newark, new jersey, last evening. the 35 year old man believed to be liberian had been vomiting during the flight. already scary, right? passengers say the crew didn't do much to ease their concerns. they say they were given flyers about ebola and nothing else. no masks, to information for up

to an hour and a half. as they sat on the tarmac. people were really upset apparently the flight which took off from brussels was coming in from the same airport where the first ebola patient the one in texas went through. passengers said they didn't mind the delay getting off but the whole thing was chaotic and no one from the crew took charge. now, we left a message for united press people this morning to get their take. tell us your thoughts. are you afraid to fly over e boat la. tweet us hash tag fox 29 weeke weekend. >> back to you. >> health news this morning parents are panicked and rightfully so especially after this headline. four year old new jersey boy dies after testing positive for enterovirus. what can we do to protect our kids from this deadly respiratory virus. dr. mike stopping by joining us on this weekend because parents are so concerned, dr. mike. should we be as concerned as we are? the first thing to remember, karen, don't panic. the enterovirus d68 is causing some trouble this year.

i've talked with our infectious disease experts at the university of pennsylvania as well as pediatricians and when it comes down to it, karen, parents need to be aware that this is the year of all years to make sure that your child gets a flu shot. that won't protect against enterovirus but it will protect against upper respiratory illnesses and that's going to be the challenging thing for doctors like me. children are going to come in and they're going to have flu-like symptoms. upper respiratory stories and could it be the enterovirus or could it be the flu? that's going to the tricky part. >> all the kids went back to school. all coming home with sniffles and boogies and they're having their coughs. do i call the doctor? i've been calling the fox nurse line. do i need to take them n what should i do? if your child has asthma or any kind of immuno suppression,

where their immune system is down f they get a cold or upper respiratory illness probably best this time to check with your health care provider, your doctor, your nurse practitioner. they're the ones that we're particularly interested in. the children that are getting very sick are those who have a history of asthma and immune system problems. those are the ones that are endinending up in the hospital h severe trouble breathing. >> this coming from tammy, she says forayer old child we were discussing in the headline died rest in piece lives down the street and am i at risk or anyone else in that area? when it comes to the enterovirus and the spread, you need to be aware that you use proper hygiene just like every other kind of upper respiratory illness. you need to wash your hands. if you're sick, keep your child home. if you have a child that's coughing and sneezing you might want to keep them home.

keep them kind of watching them for a little bit, and then that way you don't run the risk of spreading this. but don't panic. make sure that you wash your hands and make sure that you cover your mouth if you're sneezing, and things should be okay. if you have a child that gets sick, make sure they check with health care provider. the vast majority of children with this will do okay. it's the ones that are ill with asthma that are at increased risk. >> dr. mike, thank you so much for that. we had so many questions. a lot more information right on our website if you still have more questions go to the health second of myfoxphilly.com. lauren. >> happening now, students at goddard college in vermont preparing to listen to commencement address from convicted cop killer. mumia abu jamal shrek to do speak to students at the school. the message will be pre recorded as jamal is serving a live sentence in the shooting death of philadelphia police officer

from vermont called lake edge. a cheese from new york called ripple ton little goats milling from wisconsin. always want to make it look delicious and easiest way to do that to pair it with other delicious things. one of my rules when it comes to pairing cheese with other things is see what you taste in the cheese first. if you taste a little bit of citrus it will go really well with citrus thing. if you taste sweetness put it with something sweet. ripple ton is nice meaty i put it together with salami. have a range of textures on your cheese plate. get everything there. i want to start it this really gooey harbeson from vermont. gorgeous thing about this cheese you don't have to do anything to serve it because once we crack it open, it's ready to be eaten as it. grab a cracker, piece of bread and you're good to go. nerols when it comes to eating this cheese.

little bit. i'll show you that seven day forecast. >> in this morning's cover story a big shake up this week in the secret service. the first female in charge of keeping the president live and well is out of her job. tech any nick klee july 82 pearson resigned but with the recent security breaches some lawmakers say is he had had no choice but to step down. one with president barack obama at the cdc in an elevator with an armed security guard. another involved a man who jumped a fence and made it inside the white house. now the man to keep up the secret service from right here from our area. that man temporarily is joseph clancy. he's a havertown native and a villanova grad. i was once the special agent in charge of the presidential protective division. so can he really fix it all? former lieutenant detective steve rogers with the nutley new jersey police department skyping with us this morning. we appreciate you being here. this is a tough task he has ahead of him.

where does he start? well, first of all, the culture of the secret service has been decimated as a as a result of its leadership, and it really begins at the top. it begins at the white house, at least the president is making some moves to put somewhere in there that's going to make attempts to correct it but i really don't believe that things are going to change until there's a new administration and look i'm not into the business of criticizing the president a lot, but you know, the buck stops here right at the white house. >> some people say joseph clancy was there he serve in this administration before when you may remember the white house wedding crashers came in and so that happened on his watch. yes it did. that's why i we'll have to wait until after another administration comes n look, you had the white house crash sche schers. you had the man shooting at the white house with obama's daughters inside the white hou house. you had hoe physical caribbean columbia the secret service agent that was allegedly involved with a prostitute. you had the hay-adams hotel in washington, d.c. secret service agent leaves bullet in a woman's room.

then you had the presidential detail in amsterdam if you recall that where some of the agents were drunk. recently the fence jumper and the guy in the elevator with gun. that's a complete and total epic failure of leadership from the top down. so mr. clancy may try to do the best he could, but as you said he's from this administration. nothing much is going to change until there's a whole new changing of the guard. >> and sometimes it's hard to believe that this is reall reale we're living in you only have one job to protect the president. how many times can we have a dropped ball? never in the history of this country have we seen such an epic failure in leadership in the secret service agency. look, there's problems with moral from what i understand. there's problems with promotions. there's problems with leadersh leadership. what you have here is an agency that has become very apathetic and it seems as if they don't care. look, people have to take personal responsibility. i've been a police officer for 38 years before i retired and i always took personal responsibility, and always

role, and phillies fans saw this and figured, okay, they found the first john middleton they could on twitter and it just happened to be the opener's son who's a movie producer in la. has nothing to do with the running of the team. >> he really defended his father. the team and pretty much slammed the fans saying, be patient. >> yeah, you know, to his cred credit, at first you can tell he was annoyed like, look, this is not me, i am just -- just a the guy's son but to his read did the if you look at his tweets throughout the course of the week even after this people were still tweeting him thinking he had some involvement and he's been a really good sport about it. he's been commiserating with fans some. he said, look, i'm a fan as well. i grew uprooting for the phillies i have more of a stake in this obviously. so i get it. i hear you. he's been fielding questions. he's kind of messing with peop people. but he's been a good sport about it to his credit because having someone blame you for something

he's not he might be stand back and not interact and get in the mix. >> will's train are in jennifer already has seen improvements in will's symptoms and it's only been five months. >> since he started he's becoming stronger but his inner confidence, he's so excited now to do it. he needs less breaks getting much more into it. and i think it's just tremendous to watch him. >> since one in every 500 people are diagnosed with asberger's the harmons feel it's very important to shell will' story. physical and social therapy are the primary means of treatment, but my toy seems to be the doing the trick for well. many it could benefit others as well. >> the one-on-one support and teaching really gets him connected with jenn and i think that it definitely helps out his confidence and helps him socially out. will gets a lot out of this that he can't get from conventional treatment. >> i like my toy. it's so awesome. >> how could you not fall in love with him. he was so adorable.
