at the criminal's pales. also wanted in the state of virginia. first, lauren johnson in north philly, lauren? >> good morning, mike. pretty special homecoming for car leash and her family here where her mother lives, her cousin stepped outside in the back of the home this morning, to tell us the family is celebrating, she said her cousin still shaken up. when we asked her if carlesha new the man, police now have in custody, for her violent abduction, she said they're not sure. the entire country watched, waited, and wouldn't toward see what would happen to the kidnapped nurse if she was violently snatched off the streets all caught on camera. these story usually end differently. >> this one did not. vigil last night turned into a celebration when everyone learned carlesha was found alive in maryland. her cousin describes how she is feeling this morning. >> shaken up, tough time for us, tough time for her.

from a savage kidnapper. it was real a championship team effort. and it turned out, getting a guy not just wanted for carlesha's kidnapping, but another, even worse case, just four weeks ago. and it is that case that has late egg have thement in this case. carlesha's accused kidnapper, delvin barnes, seen here, 37 years old, on his way into a courtroom, pretty soon, down in maryland, at 1:00 o'clock this afternoon, it will be his first public appearance, since his arrest. and not even yet for any charges, in carlesha's kidnapping, but for the fugitive warrant for the kidnapping back in october 1st, and get ready for there is because that case is even more horrific, and that has virginia authorities telling me pattern of kidnapping of young woman. previous case after raping and kidnapping a 16 year old virginia girl over two days four weeks ago. while he was burning her close clothes, and digging hole in the ground he thought he would bury her in, she somehow escaped and ran into nearby woods.

but before that, over those two days, showing pictures of other girls that he told her he did the same things to that he had done to her. and that's why captain jason cawley of the sheriff department told me he thinks there is likely even more victims out there, and he also thinks because they had a dna match in that case last wednesday give them search warrant, that forced him to flee here to philadelphia, than is with a began their series every event here in the same car, going to the second tape, you see here in the dark, from the air, but you can still manage to make out the car that was seen in the surveillance tape. and if you look real close you can see plastic covering the back window that carlesha had kicked out. >> august moved, in utilized bunch their vehicles to block him, to prevent him from leaving the parking area, then announce their presence to him, gave him verbal commands, and took him into custody without incident.

weapons, attacks on women before, under age people, in the path, none of it, kept him in prison, long enough, where they firmly believe his trail of violence and mayhem has come now to a deadened, with these two highly publicized horrific cases, stowe will be a while before we ever see him in a philadelphia courtroom likely, because virginia authorities told me, try to get their hands on him. what they'll do whether he waves extradition or fights it. if he waves it, he is scrapping, and crawly said i'll be there to take him back, and recognize him, here is strange coincidence out to mike, crawly actually went to high school with barnes. crawl twi years ahead of him, played basketball with him. he said back then during high school he was quiet, he was reserved, he was a normal guy. he suddenly became a monster after they left high school. >> boy, for sure. a lot of people on twitter last night and this morning, good thing he is not a very bright guy, too, used atm card in front of atm cameras. >> same car. >> still driving out with

way, ever driven down, a loft folks have driven down from philly down here, down i-95, you know have de grass, then aberdeen, come on down here to jessup. they had been following that trail. they were watching the car. and when they saw delvin barnes move from the back seat to the front seat that's when played moved, in blocked the car, in made arrest, table make the rescue as well. so, today, delvin barnes will go before baltimore county judge, 1:00 o'clock in the afternoon, we understand, will be via video link. this is bond hearing, in addition, they're going to see whether he is going to wave extradition to charles city county virginia, that's just east of richmond, where that other horrific case is. that was just on october 1st. so, we understand, the way it will work today, is that if he waves extradition, then the charles city authorities will be right back up here to bring him back to face virginia
