parking spots, walking up toward the mall, watch it there could be icy spots left over there with the cold temps overnight. live look near oxford valley mall in problems or delays there. all bridges look fine and mass transit running with no reported delays, chris and alex, back over to you. >> thank you so much. >> it is black friday. so millions of people around the country are rushing, shopping center trying to find a good deal this black friday. you are in mount laurel, in years past, black friday has been a crazy mad dash, right? this year seems a little different? >> what? >> reporter: that is because mad dash was thanksgiving night after dinner when all of the other stores opened like target this place has been opened since 6:00 p.m. and they had a line then and they had specials then and that is where everybody got here to get in line and get their shopping done a lot of people told us they would rather go out and have an early thanksgiving dinner and go out with the full belly, and fully

rested rather than deal with the cold, and waiting out in line and sleeping in tents and all those things. i think black friday's mad dash and road rage situation he had in years past had been ease need thanksgiving opening and shoppers we met this morning are those anti thanksgiving people, saying they benefited by not having to deal with the big crowds, they used to deal with and the rushing and the elbow, and the knocking in to the doorways that we used to see at franklin mills mall. plus, these stores have gotten wise. they hand out tickets to people inside line. there were fights in the aisles over the last thing that was on sale. now you know, before the doors even opened that you have a guarantee thaw can get this item without the ticket they don't sell it to you in places like best buy. dan is here with us. lets start with the history. people don't necessity how we got name black friday. it originated in this area. >> that is right, philadelphia lure. black friday, the name,

overnight shopping at victoria secret and stores like that. i'm thinking we will see a peak traffic time between one and 4:00 this year. because of having opened early yesterday. >> reporter: that is interesting. maybe some people went home, they slept and they are getting geared backup for this afternoon. if they do, in addition, you have a lot of parking but we see a lot of people with bags. so if they don't want to drag everything out to the car there is some help, and shuttles. >> absolutely, we wanted to make the experience as positive and stress free as possible. there are a couple things they can do, or if they don't know the the mall that well. we have anybody who is interested can check those, check their coat and bag. at one of the guest services center. we offer a free courtesy shuttle. it takes customers from every entrance to the mall to the next entrance to the next: if

somebody wants to get to two different end of the mall they can just take the shuttle. >> reporter: and rest those legs. i like it. without the credit card, rest the legs. something else we want to tell you. we have seen stores in the the storefronts. they post their discounts and deals however there is a big social media push. king of prussia mall is on twitter. you guys are posting deals on twitter. >> we have our black friday twitter page, busy at work and these are for people who comb the mall and look for best deals and they tweet them out. if you follow us on twitter, you will get these tweets as to where to find best deals in the mall. social media is really important for us and it is a great way for people to stay involved with the spellings sales and offers. facebook page, web sites, twitter, instagram, all of these are great ways to stay in touch with what is out there right now. >> reporter: twitter handle is at kop under score mall.
