run by independent boards, so the district financial situation is such that, you know, the leadership has said they cannot expand charter schools without hurting district schools, the district is $80 million financial hole the next year already. so the money has to come from somewhere. more charters approved, then the money has to come from the district budget. district already has $80 million hole. so, it is, you know, real a tough spot. >> roam limited effect? >> there are people who say, you know, who certainly are on both sides of the aisle. there is a lot of demand for charter schools, you know, there are people who believe that their neighborhood public school is not safe, or doesn't give kids strong education, and so, you know, there are politicians in harrisburg, house leadership, the republicans, who have said, you know, we need more charter schools.
