hand, chris showing you some in the snow over here, but, chris, probably be better just to show this what i am holding here. even though this was light and airy, we were kept way back from the scene, when you look tow video, see why it blew over here. >> a lot of stuff you probably haven't noticed when you have seen it before. i want to ask you this time, your eyes naturally go to the blast and the stuff flying around and the pieces of the walls and the roof that flip up like a little kid throwing his baseball card up in the air. but when you watch it the next time, look at the middle the screen. see the 15 people on scene about seven firefighters, six gas company workers, 2ems people and see them get knock down running away, they were out on the street there, and they weren't even the closest to it, two people closest to it are in critical condition. nobody killed. but boy can you imagine what they were thinking? they had to run for their lives, stuff flying all around them, talking big chunks it

kitchen cabinets were open. >> unbelievable. it is absolutely amazing that nobody lost their life. >> it hatched at family guest house that was just renovated in the fall. no family inside that place, to family even home in their main house either. most of the homes smartly, about 75 to 100 safely evacuated, as soon as the gas company got here, and they new, there was big problem, and it wasn't safe to have people around here. that's why no one was hurt. great reaction from the people that were here, and they were trying to figure out the problem, and get the gas cut off and stopped where ever it was leaking from when it exploded there. looking at the insulation still flying around here, the police have this side block off whether we first got here, on the other side of the neighborhood, which was like 15 minute drive on the other side, and as we go over here, you can see, with first light, what they will do, they were letting people back into the houses one at a time, apparently maybe thought it was safe to get the gas going safely back one at a time.
7:09 am
but boy those people who want to get back to their homes because at least 12 homes we know suffered major league take damage, causing whole win bo pains being blown out, not just glass windows themselves, we've seen contractors show up, one to the right, got to get estimate on how they can get the house fixed, how long it will take to get fixed so big problems still here, at first daylight with these people getting their first looks back at their houses, boy, they got to feel lucky despite their houses being damaged so bad. because if they were in those houses, they might not be around today. >> for sure. i just stunning. >> we may see reunion. >> mother and daughter return home this morning, police say, the child was abducted by her father locate in the massachusetts. >> so we've sent jenny taught philadelphia international airport for this reunion. what's going on? >> yes, here, waiting, don't know which flight they might be traveling, but yesterday we talk to dawn before we she threw to boston.

the teens, 19 in philadelphia, nine mount pocono, 12 in reading and lancaster and allentown, 23 degrees in wildwood, and 16 in wilmington. not much of a windchill today really. what we are watching is this storm system to the south of us. in dallas, texas, it is going to come across the southern tear of states. and affect the carolinas, very similar to yesterday's storm, which stayed well to the south. this one we think is going to sneak up into our area, so as we look at the future cast, we look at 4:00 in the morning tomorrow, when we start the fox 29 morning into news, start to see some snow spreading into southern delaware, it looks like it moves northward, by five, 6:00. by 7:00 we could even see some lighted snow in the metro area. doesn't look to be northern and western storm, centered to the south of us. could see brief period of snow even here in the city. just depends on exact track of this storm. it is out of here by 1:00 in the afternoon, it looks like,
7:17 am
and that's it for, that then the sun comes back out. >> coating possible throughout the metro area. >> could get as much as two, 3 inches of snow to the south us, the way it looks for that storm, again, thursday morning, and it is mostly south and east of the city. another frigid friday in store. sunny, cold, saturday, late day snow is possible on sunday, change to go rain on monday, as temperatures get a little milder. and maybe another storm on tuesday afternoon. so, there it is, your seven day forecast, we get above freezing today, bob kelly, how is it looking out on the roads? >> 7:17, sue. good morning, everybody, accident westbound on the schuylkill expressway. just west of 476, we just got police and the penndot crew up here. this fellow here facing the wrong direction, off into the snow bang. so we are bumper to bumper here westbound, on that schuylkill from conshohocken all the way up through 476.

7:24 am
earn points, each time you use the ride sharing app, and stay in wo westin, a sheridan, et cetera. it is a big deal in the sense that gown takes company uber has never linked up with hotel company. uber passengers can earn one star wood reward point for each dollar that they spend, and star wood custom kearse earn between two to four-point per dollar they spend at the hotels, for uber rides, look, here is my issue. i have so many of these reward programs set up, i never cash in. it is impossible to get the necessary number of points. but for business travel letters this could be key. a lot of people have their corporate accounts linked up with uber. so if you are traveling for business, take uber from the airport go, to star wood hotel, you're goal end. >> now, just to be clear, you might have said this, but do any -- is it going to start automatic for me? >> you need to sign up and
7:25 am
make sure that the programs all coordinate. that star wood knows that this is you, you're linked up with uber, vice-versa. >> uh-huh. >> i guess we have star woods. >> like the west snip. >> sheridan, westin, four points, yes, they have been 1200 properties. >> oh, okay. >> mike? >> have a nice trip you. >> heard i'm leaving. >> you let everyone know, trust me. >> i almost let plea passport expire, but i learned here in philadelphia you can get it in 24 hours. >> you better get on it. >> did you? did you get it in 24 hours. >> i'll rose the diane go for t but somebody said on twitter there are some countries if it is going to expire in the next six months, they won't let you into the count. >> i that's true. that's true. if you are going overseas, mike. >> no, just going to the caribbean, should be okay. >> okay, well, i guess we'll

7:33 am
>> they get it right the jury? >> they did get it right. sad because this man was definitely mentally ill, in and out of institutions for years, diagnosed as being psychotic, but under the law as texas sees it, he was guilty because he did know, they found, that he did know what he was doing was wrong at the time that he shot. >> because he flan. >> i think, two things, i think you're right, he actually took kyle's truck and he fled. that will kind of indicates he knew he did something wrong, also, when he was interviewed by the police afterward, he said he was sorry. now when you say you're sore that i kind of indicates that you new you did something wrong. >> he could have had like a spell oring? what i finds interesting, he was diagnosed with ptsd and psychosis. >> now in the hospital. >> that's right. i agree. the one thing that impressed me in terms of him knowing he did something wrong? when he shot both kyle and, he waited until both of them emptied their guns so their guns were empty when he shot them, which indicated to me he had a plan, he knew what he was doing, when i heard that

7:44 am
