>> thanks for having me. >> good morning. >> good morning. >> mr. da, let's start with you. a lot of the response right now, they're having a victory rally, but some people are saying it was really fast with the charges to have murder to not go to a grand jury. as our top prosecutor, what was your take on all of this? >> i'd like to commend state's attorney marilyn mosby for her investigation. i think the words that you just showed of freddie gray's stepfather were appropriate. that it was appropriate to bring charges but also we want to have peace in baltimore. it's very necessary to have a thorough investigation in this matter as a result of all that you saw that was going on across the nation. and so what's most important is that it's a very thorough and accurate investigation. so that will play itself out. but plato said over 2,000 years ago that it matters not if the

>> i'm paul. what's the weather going to be like today? >> well, thanks. high street looks pretty good. much of the area looks like temperatures are warming up nicely. very comfortable, that breeze has died down, the cooler air. that's just a little farther east. the temperatures could climb above 70s today. we're continuing to warm up over the next few days but right along the coast it is just a little cooler and there is some rain in the forecast, not over the weekend. it waits until tuesday and wednesday as some cooler weather may return. so that's what we're looking at with our headlines. a lot of festivals going on today. there's a science carnival, part of a week-long festival. it looks pretty good, maybe a possible shower late in the day, very, very isolated but much of the afternoon will be dry, nothing on the radar now, it is all clear. temperatures are climbing above 50 and heading for the 70s this afternoon. 53 in mount pocono, a lot of 50s

north and west. it is a little cooler right along the coast and that will be the trend today. temperatures may actually warm up nicely this morning from 50 in wildwood, 49 in atlantic city but the wind will come off the ocean, a sea breeze develops so the temperatures could drop a bit this afternoon. this storm has moved off, everybody had that cooler breeze late in the week, but as the storm moves away, the wind dies down, and now we're just looking at these temperatures. you can see the cooler air moving in from the coast. this will be about 4:00, or 5:00. that could be temperatures into the 50s as the water temperature is 47. ahead of that front there into the 70s but we're trying to see how far in the cooler air makes it. it could come as far in as philadelphia. so here's the 7-day forecast. 72 today and warmer weather is coming in. by the end of the weekend, wanted to put 80. we'll be close. very warm on monday. easily above 80 degrees. tuesday it's warm but there's showers moving in.
8:20 am
and that rain could keep the cooler weather here on wednesday, right back into the 80s on thursday and friday, it is nice and comfortable by the end of the week. so a few days of the 80s there. it looks like we just have to wait until monday. so we'll definitely see it then. >> i love that. we did so much complaining about cold weather in the winter, i got it all out of my system. i'm good with 80. >> how about the timing? he comes and we're in a perfect stretch of weather. >> thank you, dave. >> coming up, we've got new developments in the bridgegate scandal. how chris christie is using social media to get his feelings across. >> and also your shoes are made for walking, or that guy right there he wants to make sure you get every single mile you can. he loves shoes and he's fixing them the old fashioned way. we're going in focus. >> and we're going to reflect a little bit. a legend passed away. the song you're hearing from ben

the next step is make sure you're using frog tape. you want to tape off all those edges, windows, ceilings and doors so you get nice crisp lines. if you're painting baseboards, you want to use an edge guide to tuck under the edge of your carpet. if you've got a big room and a lot of space, go for the 18-inch roller. you have to buy the attachment and a typical broom handle fits in on the end but you can get it done in one and a half times the speed because you're getting more coverage. and lastly, inevitably in the middle of your project, somebody has to go to the store or soccer practice, you can take your paint brush and roller, put them in a giant ziploc bag, toss them in the fridge, and it will be useable when you come back.
