>> i actually just look at the title and moved on. it was not something -- >> we 1st learned of the story from jackie lieberman. >> at the art show did not notice the exhibit. a reader wrote to me about it up in arms. >> reportedly the teacher was attempting to encourage the students to take a look at issues but it rages the age-old question of freedom of speech inside the classroom. bill: the surprising thing is the location, essentially upper-middle-class suburban neighborhood certainly not full of strife between the community and police officers. art invokes emotions, and this has everyone talking. >> that is literally the.of art. strong emotions toward the

police or cops they should be entitled to let out their emotions and feelings through art. >> but should we be putting it on display? >> the criticism is actually from cops. they need to get out of the equation and let teachers worry. >> when it comes down to it artwork is an outlet. maybe they are hurting. maybe they need to talk. we don't know. bill: you both jumped on that one. there is nothing more generalizing than putting a badge and a dead body and painting the picture that all cops are bad. the police will still come to those houses of 911 is called an solve a problem.
