false alarms were called in to john f. kennedy airport this weekend. every college in newark airport. causing massive disruption. calls to the port authority and fbi for me to get more information today have not been returned. bill: the issue at the airport i understood that they were terrorists making these calls kind of testing our response. that is what was reported. it seems different than this. maybe the lines are blurring. >> that is not confirmed. the end of the day the one thing that ties these together is computerized telephone lines that make your phone calls untraceable as far as i know as of right now the fbi does not know who plays those calls. it shuts on the grid. that is beyond chaotic.

>> governor christie spoke in oklahoma city on friday at the southern republican leadership conference. this conference hosts us drop all similar to the one we told you about from seatac conservative postelection conference. here is a great early indicator for those republican hopefuls who might be thinking about a 2016 run. this straw poll about a thousand people polled. and it governor christie placed fourth. the winner of of the struggle was retired neurosurgeon ben carson then wisconsin governor scott walker followed by ted cruz and then governor governor christie who beat out jeb bush. we have in studio via skype grover norquist the pres. of americans for tax reform to give us insight on whether or not this is a big deal for governor christie. >> absolutely. it is a big deal. there are a lot of people on the ballot. governor christie came in 4th.

bill: if you think about it it really is incredible. a northeastern governor considered a moderate by many to fall that well is impressive. why is he why is he appealing? on the other do you think he is straddling that fence being appealing to conservatives and also appealing to moderates? taking away some of the thunder from jeb bush is probably the most significant thing that happened. >> interestingly he has left a lot on the table. when he stepped in and pastrami out of the way a lot of people that the establishment, more moderate candidate position was taken. he is not taking all the marbles of the table for whatever reasons bush fatigue, not showing up as well and early discussions and debates as you might have's.

christie is walking into the position. bill: the tax pledge. the organization, you get these candidates to sign a pledge that they will not raise taxes. do do you expect that he will sign your plans? >> i expect that he we will. he clearly stated when he was candidate for governor that he would not support tax increases that he would veto tax increases. the increases. the modern republican party is a party that will not raise your taxes. chris christie stands front and center with other republican national leaders in that zone. bill: thank you for your time. we we want to have you on again as this continues to heat up. bill: team -- >> take care guys. ♪ ♪
