don't think he acted alone. police are rush issueing warning remind ugh to keep your doors and windows lock. a look at your forecast. here's chief meteorologist scott williams. >> much improved weather today across the area iain but certainly yesterday was a different story as we take a look at the nasty line of showers and thunderstorms that kind of slammed the area. you can take a look at the radar radar. you can see that bow echo and that is indicative of damaging straight line winds across parts of the area. so as we take look at those damage reports they started in lancaster county, chester county delaware county, into parts of south jersey, and take a look at some of those damage picture reports coming in especially in gloucester county around the deptford mall. that cars toed about and also you can see some roof damage and awning there at the deptford mall but that damage not caused by a tornado. the national weather service was out surveying the damage, and they deemed it straight line wind damage. so most of the damage was in the same direction but winds gusted up to 85 miles per hour with

that straight line wind damage. now tornado damage that's different. the damage is more in a circular motion. so when the national weather service survey teams were out there surveying that damage they did not see a circular motion, so it was straight line wind damage. but tuesday evening medford saw peak winds gusting at 75 miles per hour. philadelphia at 72. so that made it the top four -- top five rather wind gusts in philadelphia's history yesterday at 72 miles per hour. but as we take a look at your thursday forecast, high temperatures in the mid 80s. sunshine will give way to some cloud cover and then eventually we're tracking some rainfall moving in across the area. so you can see by lunch time, mostly cloudy skies tomorrow. and then by the evening rush we're looking at a few pockets of some scattered showers across the area. that will continue thursday night into friday. on and off again light showers. everyone not going to see it, and then as we move toward upcoming weekend it looks like a
