one other person, two other people hurt. lets look at this scene here, it extend for two blocks, white car there still a crime scene, investigators pouring over that car for hours, now, and you can see windows shot out. that was the car, victims were in. lets look at video that was shot for you after all this happened at the scene. this is right at juniata street. police say that the victims were parking their white vehiclal long juniata street when they were allegedly approached by this gunman with a ski mask yielding a 45 caliber shotgun. somewhere along the line police say there was another group of people somehow connect to the victims in that car. one of the people inside of that group had an assault rifle, they in turn exchange gunfire with the gun man. they fired off shots. he fired off shots. he was wounded. he ran down the street, collapsed, and police later found him dead. still wearing that ski mask. another man a victim actually

died as well and two other people a woman and a man injured both in stable condition. now, police are still looking for the people who were involved in firing back at this gunman. they want to talk to him to find out what happened but they are not having luck with witnesses right now this morning. let's hear from police when they gave us an update a little bit earlier this morning. >> it appears they may have been in the car and got out of the car, we're not sure, that is just speculation right now but the car does have numerous shots throughout the front windshield. it appears as if he was particularly trying to get the persons in that vehicle. but there may have been, other individuals with them as well, that had an assault rifle there with a exchange of gunfire with multiple shell casings. >> reporter: multiple shell casings, so many police haven't been able to give us an exact number. exactly how many shots were fired. we counted about 53... no

audio. >> sabina kuriakose live in north philadelphia with that developing story. we will check back with her. thanks, a sabina. williamstown high school mourning loss of the star athlete. candle light vigil was held last night in new jersey for the little boy. he went missing wednesday swimming at fish and wild life management property. his body was recovered yesterday afternoon. boyar was a star wrestler and football player at williamstown high school. the owners of the iconic boardwalk pizza chain face sometime in prison for lying on their taxes. charles and mary bangel pled guilty to charges related to 2010/2011 tax returns. couple owns three manco and manco locations on the ocean city boardwalk and one in somers point. they face $250,000 fine, and up to five years in prison. 7:07. ever since boston marathon bombings, security has been ramped up whenever big crowd

come together. >> this fourth of july holiday weekend will be no exception. there have been reports of the heightened security alert. lets get to steve keeley to see is what happening here to make sure everyone will be safe this holiday weekend, steve. >> reporter: in the only are you seeing a whole lot of red, white and blue this fourth of july but you will be seeing security too. let's roll video that we just shot if you weren't watching a half an hour ago we showed this live. one of the many steps that are at least visible because they say, a lot will not be visible, they are not telling everybody all of the security steps but you can see how vigilant law enforcement and sanitation department is being. sanitation workers told us that the home land security department urged them to seal all of the used trash cans all around the city, normal ones you use, steel trash cans, modern day trash compactors you see all around philadelphia. so they are out right now in the morning sun, working on this holiday, ceiling shut

candidacy, including our chris christie from new jersey who announced on tuesday. presidential candidates, kentucky senator rand paul is opening his campaign headquarters in iowa grand opening was held yesterday. he says that hope, optimism will carry him over the finish line. the republican, says as president he would have respect for the entire bill of rights. >> all 55 candidates running for president are for the second amendment to 1 degree or another, probably most of them pretty decent on the republican side. there is not many that will defend the fourth amendment. not many that will defend your right to privacy. that is what separates this campaign from the others. there is not many that will stand up for the fifth amendment, that says the government should never take your property, without just compensation, without due process. >> rand paul is standing on his stand for rand tour. there are 14 republicans in

times. and rare cases they can be deadly. we spoke with the mother who says her was stung by a manowar when he was just two years old. >> he pick something up. we were 10 feet from him. he got very, very upset. he was crying. his hand started to get are red. it was frightening not knowing what was going on and why he was behaving that way and so upset. >> experts say, the manowars float on the water surface and they are blown inland when the wind comes from the north east. the new jersey poison control office says you should call them if you have any questions. speaking of the beach, we all want to want to be down the shore. so many of us here in the delaware valley head down the shore for the fourth of july holiday, hey dave. >> you want to know what it will be like tomorrow. not the best day there. not great timing. when you get a pretty strong northeast wind, it keeps not the most pleasant there down at the beach. not going to be all weekend.

today is not a bad day. sunnies up. there is a light breeze. if you are down there already for the long holiday weekend, enjoy it tomorrow. you will certainly enjoy it sunday. saturday not so much. we will have the rain coming in, and then that wind out of the north east. so, things are clear on the radar. ultimate doppler radar, maybe a pop up shower in the del marva a or south jersey to day but steady, heavy rain starting tonight and then lasting throughout tomorrow morning and then maybe early in the afternoon. sixty's now. we're heading to the 80's thanks to the sunshine we have out there today. a nice warm up. kept temperatures down yesterday with the clouds, and we will get that sunshine, we are starting our climb already, mid to low 60's. it was in the upper 50's there in terms of the 66 up in wildwood. updates just like that. sunshine will be around today. maybe a few more cloud, this afternoon, and then really cloudy skies, moving in, overnight tonight, by the time you wake up tomorrow morning it may not be raining when you get up early, if you are up very early but here comes the rain, developing. steadier rain especially to the south, and it continues throughout to the morning and

we will start to break up just a bit by tomorrow afternoon. showers, storms, mainly to the south, and then it could be as far north as allentown but it is clearing up. we will see it all moving to the south by tomorrow night, and it should be ending by tomorrow evening. by eight or 9:00 o'clock, that is good news for the festivities tomorrow night, and then don't let all of the rain hamper your plans there during the day. clouds and a few showers tomorrow in the poconos mountains but once those clouds clear up, the temperatures will really drop, it is a cool start on sunday, in the mid to low 60's, upper 07's by the afternoon. we're talking about 83 degrees in philadelphia just a little bit warmer with a light breeze. here's this rain coming in. period of steadier rain especially to the south tomorrow, for the fourth of july and then look the at end of the weekend there it is a great finish. 87 degrees. eighty-eight is our warming trend that starts on monday. we will peak on monday, at tuesday and wednesday with showers and thunderstorms and we will drop back to 85. not quite as hot on thursday. we're talking about the shore though, it is certainly nice weather there now. bob kelly is in north

back in the day in 1962, you were supposed to stay in the closet. how things have change for society. >> it has been extraordinary. no other american group has accomplished so much progress in a historical short period of time in some 50 some years. >> everybody is talking about this landmark decision. >> sure. >> at that time did you think maybe in 50 years this would happen or did you think it would be a lot longer. >> we didn't have any conception in the early to middle 1960's that we could, gay men and women in could work openly in the government and in the military and that there would be laws protecting us from discrimination. the concept of same sex marriage is something that never even crossed our mind. >> if you just go back to 2011, the polling shows that a great majority of americans still did not favor it. what would you attribute to it

changing with such force in the last few you years. >> well, i think the awareness level, as gay people, gay and lesbians are an integral part of the society and as they became more open, the rest of the society caught on and profoundly changed their opinions. if you have a brother, a sister or you have a parent or a neighbor that you find out to be gay, it will change your mind good absolutely. >> a lot of people are calling you you a a hero. do you feel like a hero. it is amazing for you this all started with love. >> correct, a true hero, do i hear that a lot. i'm in the really comfortable with that. i understand why people say that but for me that is a hard term to come to terms with. i don't feel like a hero. i was someone who loved his

dave war wayne weather authority update. radar clear right now but that changes. we have a three day weekend. today is the first. we will get two nice days, middle day which happens to be the holiday, we will be dealing with rain and cooler temperatures. possibly just a shower, developing here later on today. just a very isolated shower. as soon as that wind comes from the south east ahead of that approaching storm we might see a few showers popping up there. temperatures will climb today, temperatures will be little warmer then yesterday, with a bit more sunshine in the mid 60's, and barely in the 80's, mid to low 80's. sixty-eight in philadelphia. up to the 80-degree mark maybe by noon. then a few clouds coming in later today. temperatures stays right around 82, 83 degrees. this is a big key here, our computer forecast, this goes hour by hour tonight and we will see clouds increasing. by the time you wake up tomorrow morning mostly cloudy
