we found this survey that says there are about ten things you can do to get out after bad mood. one every them, write down things three you are grateful for. do you have techniques to get out after bad mood? >> preston, i probably run contrary to what most people do. >> well, i mean, it is harder to get out after bad mood than get in one. >> exactly. >> like slamming your car door. that will put now mad mood. >> pretty quickly you can do that, so i don't know. as lame as saying think happy touts? just think happy thought. >> i try to remind myself of accomplishments, things along those lines you. >> list the things you are grateful for, my wife, my health, my job, things i love. i tends to no, i don't beat myself up for feeling bad. i found that that works. just go with it, roll with it. it serves a purpose. and by doing that, you come
7:57 am
out of it quicker, because you realize it is just a process, feel bad but my mother used to say this too shall pass. that's my doctor phil fill moment. >> preston was saying, think good thoughts. that's one of the top 10t says meditate, actually, closure eyes, and meditate for about five minute. >> where does shower with kate upton fall on that list? >> nine. >> meditation, something i never learned how to do but always wanted to, to look into, but everyone's about it, i think i'm in the -- i don't have enough folk us to do it. >> i don't either. another one was listen to sad songs to put you in a better mood. >> i do that. dow that. because i find it comforting that other people have felt similarly. andand that bridges me out of i. you're not alone, you know? so, i tends to listen to sad music, instead of happy music
7:58 am
when i am sad myself. >> i will a grow with that, plus you belt it out, just sing it out of you. >> ya, ya. >> listening to james tame or, pink floyd or something, more down, you don't really -- not really show -- >> bonnie rate, i can't make you love me. >> oh, my god, that song is a homerun. ya, all do you have do is hop in a bath of warm water drown yourself, that's great song for. that will and then of course the third song would be the thong songs. >> while thinking of cape upton? >> exactly. >> also, listen to this, kathy. spend money on other people like your co-workers. that will make you feel good. >> well, i don't know if i would buy them gifts, but i

was going to say one of the things is shopping. go seaning for me, if i'm in a bad mood. >> retail earn any. >> on sale, got good price, hon et ceteraly, will make me feel better. >> we're big pro moan ends of that, as well, preston, you agree, endorphins, while shopping, can't fight it. >> one thing that put me in very good mood today. kathy's outfit. okay. >> oh! >> look at her covering up. >> she was at the beach, all bronze, ya. >> too bad march ace is not there. >> oh, she's here? what are you wearing, marissa? >> marissa, what are you wearing? >> she has some cleve wearing. after that one pick you guys showed, i won't look at her the same, sorry. >> oh, ya? >> yep, on the cover of hustler magazine.
8:00 am
>> good day, it is wednesday, july the eighth, 2015. here we go. >> this is "good day philadelphia". we love carli lloyd. now the question is, does she love us? after having cameras in her face, in the middle of the night when when she returns home to philadelphia this morning. well, we did talk to her, she was very nice to us, so hear what she had to say coming up next. >> former pitcher roy halladay, mr. perfect game. pulled over yesterday, not once, but twice, by the same police officer. why the former phil is he in a little trouble with the cops this morning. >> hey, inspired everything from fashion to dance moves, but now, she's inspiring architecture? yes, really. the new skyscraper being built just like her famous figure. quincy? >> according to recent study new jersey is the most hated
8:01 am
state in the country. according to campbell's it's m, m good. >> we see what you did there. uh-huh. >> one past 8:00. >> it is casino of soupy out there today. oh, all that humidity, and it is a seven out of ten. in your weather by in the umbers, here's bus stop buddy. drinking lots of water today, as you should, as well, stay hydrated out there, another hot one. muggy the dog is here. temperatures in the seven 70s, and very humid. so he's enjoying summer camp. 79 degrees, we have to find some air-conditioning, or as bob kelly recommends, a friends with a pool. 78-mile an hour winds, 70% relative humidity. few scatter showers to the north and west of us, haven't made it quite here to philadelphia yet. we are seeing few clouds. our foxcast for high of 88 degrees today, pop up thunderstorms, later on in the day. lingering into the evening hours. over night low, muggy 74.
8:02 am
seven day forecast has a lot of 90s in it, we'll explain, coming up. high, bob. >> sue, good morning, everybody, 8:00 # two, another broken down vehicle here on the westbound schuylkill expressway. approaching the king of prussia interchange. that's causing little bit after slow down, as you head out toward kop. and i don't know waist going on here with the ben franklin bridge this morning. but there is only three of the normal four lanes that are open coming into philadelphia. what's happening right here? as soon a cents you get to the down side, somebody skoots over. no cones, there is no construction, and i think they just forgot to turn that right lane light from red to green, like they typically would, for the morning rush hour. so, an extra back up on the benny, coming into philadelphia, we're jammed up from that the aid milk wilson up and over, and some delays and packed trains this morning, on septa's regional rails lines. they started taking one train at a time off of the -- out of
8:03 am
service for the maintenance, the fleet upgrade, installing that ptc system. so some of the trains will have fewer cars than normal, for our morning rush hour. mike, alex, back over to you. >> thank you, bob. 8:03, well, our mvp carli lloyd she is back home this morning in delran. >> yes, about six hours allege, she landed, in the middle of the night at philadelphia international airport, and jenny joyce is on the story in hometown of delran, high. >> reporter: good morning, mike, alec being saying all morning we hope she is at home sleeping and catching up because she said she hasn't slept in the last few days although she said she has to relax her mind, had a lot to think about, and so much excitement. she got home about 2:00 in the morning, we were there at philadelphia international airport when she arrived, we had the cameras, she kindly talked to us, and took photographs with some fans, and signed some autographs. carly said, it is finally setting in after that rally in l.a. it is finally setting in that they are victorious in the world cup win. she said she's been getting recognized and life has

certainly changed. they went out to eat in los angeles, and the restaurant pick up the tab, which is nice, and maybe expected. but of course, for this team, so humble, they were not expecting that. life is certainly changed for them. at the airport, her fiancee, brian hollins was, there seeing carly for the first time in over a month. >> it is finally sinking in. i have to relax my brain, go home, enjoy with friends and family, when i get time, but it has been an unbelievable ride and journey just a fantastic moment. >> i'm really proud of her. like i said, she has work so hard for this. i know what she had to put no this to be able to get this far. the last couple of years either digging deep, and working harder than ever. >> carly says she'll enjoy this when she has time. she has so much going on. she said she is only home in
8:05 am
delran for day and a half. before she heads up to new york, they have the ticker tape parade friday morning, then comes back next week. she has camp going on, celebrating her 33rd birthday. i think we have to nail her down for a dathan get her back on good day before anything else goes on. >> real, we doesn't want the donuts to go stale. >> i would suggest later this afternoon, this evening. >> we'll come to you, carl. >> i yes, from l and m's bakery, that's where she likes her donuts? >> yes, l and m bakery. >> 85:00, speaking of the parade. >> that will be on friday, in new york city, so, a lot of people are asking what's ticker tape parade? >> what we used to call it back in the day, ticker tape parade. example from 1962 for astronaut john glenn, first american to orbit the earth. so ticker tape are strips of paper, that were used to come out after stock market machine, down there, in lower manhattan on wall street.
8:06 am
people through out the pieces of paper right out of the machine, and they turned into streamers. that's why to this day it is still called the ticker tape parade. so, friday's parade which starts 11:00 will be along broadway, just as this one was in 1962 from basically the battery lower manhattan down to the statue of liberty, battery, to up city hall, all in lower manhattan. the reason they choose that, it is a canyon of buildings on very narrow street. broadway's very narrow. because that street was put this there before we had cars. so, it is called the canyon of heroes, it is very intense, it is a perfect place for a parade. >> is it though? because why is it in new york, okay? it should be in new jersey, if you ask me. >> well, we found a list of ten reasons why you should not have this parade in new york city. we'll give you maybe top five here. lauren johnson, what did you find?
8:07 am
>> all right. so i think we should cross the bridge into the garden state, like you said, friend at new jersey. com came one this list. five, there are exactly zero players on the roster, who call new york city their hometown. >> winning us squad from point pleasant, new jersey, so you're getting the idea now? three, mid fielder hetero really from east brunswick, new jersey, two, tobin heat scored if the final, again, from basking ridge, in urge new jersey, and the number one reason, world cup hero, carli lloyd; from delran, new jersey. so mike, alex, how about we get charlie, chris, i can't even think of my name, chris christie. >> former governor of florida. >> chris christie, i'm here now, off the campaign trail, call andrew kimmo let's work this out. >> here is the deal. where would you have it? that's the trouble. there is nothing like a canyon
8:08 am
of buildings. >> what if we did it like a segway, like park here in jersey, we're if philly, but part of jersey that goes over into new york neighbor. >> like shutdown a bridge or something. >> caravan oring? >> could you do a bridge, i guess? >> start in jersey where the girls have a connection, cross the bridge into new york and celebrate? >> again i go back to when the new jersey devils won the stanley cup. they decided not to do new york city. stay loyal to their jersey fans. and they had it in a parking lot at the meadowlands. >> really? >> sad. >> went around in a circle. >> maybe carly has ideas in jersey, since she is a jersey girl. >> i think they'll have one in delran. >> definitely have one there. but maybe she has idea for bigger one? >> what's weird, we don't have ticker tape any more. because we have paper.
8:09 am
>> con fitly work, rid? >> i guess confetti. >> sim i string? >> you have to have a lot of that. >> balloons? >> we'll gall to. that will thank you. former philadelphia eagle, donovan mcnabb, as you know by now, facing another dui charge. june 28th, mcnabb rearended another car stopped at stop light. when questioned mcnabb said reportedly he hadn't had anything to drink but he had taken cough syrup, eaten cough drops. blood sample taken, results hadn't been released, you know, his second dui arrest, the first in 2013. >> well it will all come down to the blood work then. >> cough syrup, everything. speaking every fill ill athletes. not good day yesterday for another famous person. former phillie sports guy, has a run in with the police, twice. roy halladay says he was pulled over twice for speeding by the same cop on the same
8:10 am
day. ya, he documented the ordeal on twitter. first rounds 11:00 in the morning he got a ticket for going 10 miles per hour over the speed limit. roy said, joked, that his perfect driving record was out the window. then this happened. a short time later, pulled over again. at the said he asked the officer if he was stalking famous people. like himself. and the officer said no, nobody around here gets an exception, even a famous pitcher. so, he took off, started speeding again, and the same cop pulled him over. and wrote him another ticket. >> i'm sure that cop was a little upset. you know comes don't like. that will i already gave you a ticket and you'll go past my and speeding again? seriously. >> just slow down. yes, i promise to do that, officer. typing a work e-mail right now, are you? should you be doing that?
