ripped through here at 8:00 last evening. i want to show you all damage it caused here in this mobile home park. you can see this mobile home trailer right here ripped 4 feet up in the air off its foundation. its windows busted out. a all of these board and debris just pick out. you can imagine when ale this was whipping around in the air. if we pan over here you can see this car over here obviously affect by damage. the windshield and back completely busted out. a all that glass still laying there over here right by chris, my photographer's shoulder, this entire apartment building here in this mobile home park, all of the apartments there, condemned. six apartment in there. we have talk to two families who lived there who have been out here all morning long, gathering their belongings and bringing them out to figure out where they will stay next. they have described the damage in there as really like a roof had been ripped off. they looked up, they can see rafters and little bit of the

roof but other than that it is completely gone. we have wires down, poles down, transformers, actually down, and one came down into one of the mobile homes here. we talk to some folks who say it has been a long night for them as they try to figure out will they go to the red cross shelter, go to work, 50 families live here in this mobile home park but in the a area itself about 3500 people right now, without power. the storm hit, it lasted for about two minutes in a 1 mile stretch. it was quick. it was contained. but it happened. it caused a lot of damage. we have video to show you from last night, from the delaware river industrial park. we have two of their buildings and those buildings are very strong. they are industrial buildings. one of them winds were so strong that its roof got ripped off a. one of the back walls in another building got ripped off. we did talk to the office of emergency management. we have talk to a gentlemen

who lives here in this mobile home park about the incredible amount of damage they are dealing w here's what they told us. >> it is all concrete, inside. after that it is just vacuum it. move it out of the place. pretty much water on the floor. there was a lot of water going on. they didn't damage a whole lot of things but blew a lot of things around. it wasn't a whole lot of wind but enough to pick up the cat. so that was enough. >> reporter: you had to get all of your stuff out of your home. >> we have a handful of stuff we have to have. like $250 worth of grocery we he just got, on ice. we came back here, and we have the bag of clothes, and her walker and my oxygen tanks. we are camp out over here. >> across the way around the corner we have an industrial park where two large commercial buildings both have substantial wall collapses and internal wall collapses no

structural damage to the steel but there is concrete walls and other walls and metal twisted and pulled a part. >> reporter: so, when the national weather service gets here, and does hear survey they will figure out how strong the wind in this funnel included was but office of emergency management saying they could be 80 miles an hour this was a funnel cloud, just beginning of the tornado he but not a tornado. it turns in the tornado when it hits the ground. right now they are saying it was a funnel cloud but not a tornado but they are thinking it was very strong. 80 miles an hour. nobody was hurt, but luckily out of all of this damage you see around me, no injuries, but these families don't know when they will get back in their houses. they have no word. they are waiting to hear right now and again, people still without power. we have seen the power company working, up and down, the street here, and in this in mobile home park trying to get, power up here right now. so the the office of emergency management tells me they are in recovery mode right now. right now they are hung

nature drying things out today, in fact, temperatures are comfortable. and yes, we're in the lower 70's in some places, even in the mid 70's but the difference is the due points are dropping. lets take a look at some of those. they have drop from the 70's in the 60's and in our measure of in moisture we have gone from oppressive, yesterday before the storms hit to pleasant, yes, we're in the comfortable range right now. so if you are coming down here to the shore this weekend, you could not have have pick a better one, you know the holiday weekend was less than perfect. this one is pretty close to perfect. we've got sunshine all three days, today, tomorrow and sunday, 85 today. then we will switch to thate sea breeze a long the beach we will have 79 degrees, all that unshine and it will be ideal. a look at the seven day forecast has plenty of upper eight owe's and 90's, pretty typical for mid-july but it looks like next round of thunderstorms will hold off until the very end of the weekend, late in the day on sunday, after we hit a a high

we can get to the temperatures. even though, there is some that are cooler then yesterday you'll notice comfort level is a lot better, because, the dew points are down. things are more comfortable here. heading to the pocono mountains because we don't want to forget because a lot of people don't like to go that way on the weekends, well, pocono forecast is just as awesome as forecast for us this weekend at the jersey shore. we have 83 degrees on saturday, 85 on sunday, seven day forecast, it looks great for weekend. eighty-eight today. upper 80's tomorrow. sunday looks good, we will hit 90 degrees but in the the until end of the day we will hold off those then are storms and chance ledgers into monday and tuesday next week but certainly lovely to be at beach haven a and to be able to forecast a great weekend. so i imagine this is the the best time to come down, guys. there is pack up your car just like that, bob kelly, and it

police officers kicking and punching a man as they tried to arrest him in the middle have the street. police trying to arrest 22-year old khiry carol during a stop on locust street. the video appears to show punches. some say they see batons being swung too. all deliver on to the body of this man. he is struggling with officers, that is for sure. two officers say they were bitten by the man as they tried to repeatedly get his hand behind his back and put cuffs on but witness who did not the want to be identified describes what he saw. >> the guy was riding his bike. then four cops, jumped out of one car and started beating on him. so about six or seven other cars came around a. they jumped on him and pulled him and one guy punched him in the mouth. he had six guys on him. then after they arrested him they was laughing. >> making an arrest of an

delaware. there is a big mess this morning. >> it came through the evening yesterday, loud, noisy, up all morning, we have been seeing damage from those heavy rain, wind. sabina has been watching it unfold as the sun comes up, hi sabina. >> we have seen damage so severe we have talk to several families who cannot even go home today because their homes have been condemned. lets look at this. this is what used to be a rubber roof on these mobile home apartments over here, ripped clear off and these are homes condemned. you can see down here some of them, have been ripped away from the framework of that roof and over here, this trailer that is behind this rubber roof, ripped clear off its foundation. we are told it was tossed in the air brought down on the ground away from the foundation. but lets go to new video just in of this funnel cloud, taken by first responders rushing to the scene. we will shout out, to the cherry hill fire company and they shot this video and having us view this. they were responding to all of

the calls to the funnel cloud when they saw it. it is pretty incredible just whipping out there. funnel cloud not a tornado we want to say. it happened 7:45 yesterday evening. wind were up to probably 80 miles an hour. it blew blue through about one mime stretch of new castle county here. so it was fast but furious, witnesses say it only took about two minutes for this storm to rip right through here but, of course, long enough to cause a lot of damage. we know several homes, buildings, apartments, trailers, they were damage, they brought down trees and power lines. we saw a house with tree damage. three down transformers that we counted. one went right in the center of one of these homes here in this mobile park. the these have to second families they don't have anywhere to go because their homes are so damage that they have been condemned. those people are part of the apartments i just showed you, earlier. we talk to one couple here, to gather their belongings, and
