walked up and shot him repeatedly for no apparent reason. >> we know that deputy go forth leaves behind a wife and two children. our heart go out to them. i think it's fitting we're gathered in a parking lot of a church. because at times like this i think it's important to ask for the prayers of our community for this developty, his family, and our department family. >> so much violence. harris country sheriff ron hickman says he's never seen anything like this in his 45 years of law enforcement. >> new this morning, one person is hurt and several others displaced after apartment fire overnight in bustleton section city. firefighters were called to the 98 0 0 block of haldman avenue 3 a.m. we know the fire started in basement. so far no word on what caused it. >> and also new this morning we

know that a woman, on a bike, was struck by a car. there is the scene. north 22 treat in fairmount. we know the woman was severely injured. she had broken bones. she's 28 years old. police say that alcohol did play a part in that crash. and gloucester county mother is holder her children extra close after police say she saw a man trying to lure her daughter right in front of her. >> it happened in washington township. take a close look at this stephen. washington township police say a person that looks like that talked to a 6-year-old girl through her window and saying his name was joe. he was a doctor. investigators say the person even snapped the girl's picture with his cellphone before being con front fronted by that angry mother who said she was calling 911. now she's alerting neighbors. >> banging on my window to notify and tell me i have other children of my own she wanted me to be cautious and let everybody know. >> it's scary because my daughter, i have kids, too, my girlfriend has a 7-year-old.

they're out here playing together at times. i mean, something like this, you know, could happen. >> police say the mother saw the person the same day earlie earlier. and he lives in the same apartment complex she thinks. >> police now are looking for their suspect. 4 months after a little boy is killed in a hit-and-run in west kensington. an arrest warrants was issued for-year-old miguel colon. they say colon was behind the wheel of the car that hit 2-year-old david alcia and 1 19-year-old mother josephine rivera they were crossing their street in front of their home mascher street when run down back in april. both were rushed to the hospital. and tragically the little boy died three days later. >> these investigations are difficult proving somebody was driveing a vehicle. there were two people in the car at the time we had difficulty proving the fast he may have been driving. it took extra investigating. >> police are offering a 20,000

reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction of colon. philadelphia police say they have identified the person who officers say shot -- the officer had to shoot following an armed robbery that happened wednesday. police say the person is 22-year-old marquise can'tland. >> he's in the hospital in critical condition. they say he was shot when refused to drop his weapon following the armed robbery in the city cobbs creek section. the officer that fired the shot has been identified as brian haines. he's currently on desk duty pending investigation. i'm superintendent michael chetworth with a video that [bleep] me off this week. this is wild video shows a driver going the wrong way down a major highway. at one point the woman behind the wheel actually drives towards the trooper. that's when a second trooper does a maneuver to stop the suspect.

after the car rolls the woman took off on foot. finally they were able to wrestle her to the ground. police say she was under the influence at the time. when i look at this video, i see an individual who is driving like a maniac. on a major highway going the wrong way against traffic. and an entire motoring public was put at risk by the craziness of this operator it turns out to be a woman. how nobody got hurt, seriously injured or killed is beyond me. she's apparently a career criminal. and then the worst part is, in the newspaper clipping you see her smile whether they take her arrest photo. so this woman was a danger to the entire community. she was a danger to the law enforcement community. and she was able to be taken into custody without anybody getting hurt. >> i'm superintendent michael

>> welcome back. it's exactly 8:30 in headlines police are continuing their search for a man they said led them on foot chase and carjacked two people in south philly. >> this is surveillance from the start of it as you can see it shows a black mustang come barrel around the corner to comat street and police following on foot. the suspect hit several cars along the way and crashed, jumped out and carjacked a nissan ult ma. two women were in the backseat of that car. they jumped out of that car fifth and chunk and women flagged down police for help and gino capreli's car was one of the ones hit. >> it was a large big bang 1 12:30 people yelling and screaming. >> they believe they know who the suspect is.

he's a state prison parole he. they fond a prison id in the original car that the suspect was driving. >> well, we're learning more this morning about the final arrangements planned for the journalists murdered on television. alison park he and photographer adam ward. friends and family will gather to remember adam on tuesday. the parker family will be holding a private memorial for allison on monday. meanwhile her father is now vowing to become an advocate for gun reform. he's calling on other law makers to join in the fight to straightthen our nation's gun laws. >> allison was a force of nature. she was absolute forcech natur nature. and i think that her life is going to have meaning not just as a journalist but if we can affect meaning full changes in our gun laws here you know this senseless act, this senseless murder will not go in vein.

i'll heat this to a boil and incorporate aeingz and sugar. as it approaches whip eggs with remaining sugar just three eggs and remaining portion of one cup of sugar. dash of salt. two table spoons of corn starc starch. now, i will take the hot milk, leay it very slowly. drizzle it into the eggs, sugar and corn starch mixture. and turn it all to the pot. and then bring it up to a boil. let it cook for about half a minute. if you want to jazz it up add cinnamon stick in the very beginning of this. you want to keep whipping the entire time. as it thickens we don't want it to settle on the bottom and

scorch. it's nice and thick. bubbly. if you have not jazzed it up with any other flavors at this point you add tee spoken of vanilla. you want to strain it. i'm straining it on to non thick cookie sheet. cool it down quickly. and basically that's how they pastureize things by cooling them down quickly. vanilla extract in there. let this cool down to room temperature and assemble banana pudding and refridge rate. three to four ripe bananas slice these up in the bowl. i have some vanilla wafers and cooled vanilla custard enough for thick covering i like it multi-laird personally. and see how the pudding is not super, super thick which is

ideal because it will soak into the wafers. if you don't feel like layering it you can throw everything together in a bowl. custard, vanilla wafers. bananas, put it altogether pack it in a bowl cover it with whip cream and no one will be the wiser. this is fresh whip cream. after we finish layering this put tractor-trailer in refrigerator and let tractor-trailer in overnight or for a couple hours to soak up the custard and flavors can mingle. takes me back to childhood. i'm chef robert benedict classic cake. this has been your fox food classic cake. this has been your fox food bite.

discussion on social media concernle just asked me for advice about a bully and i told her to insult the kid back. probably not the best thing to say but hey, jazzy asked, what is good advice for people that get bullid in life? well, that is a great question and here to help us with answers clinical psychologist and arthur dr. kimberly lanke joins us by skype. how are you. >> good how are you. >> thank you for joining us and we want to ask you a few questions. you say that kids will be bullied by as young as four explain that. >> yeah, so, it's pretty common that kids feel either left out or different or even things as simple as hey, can i play here or sit by you. they'll get included out of things and not be able to do that. from as early on as preschool kids feel the feel of being left out or different. and which is kind of that start of bullying that we see

continue on to later years. >> i have young kids myself ape say if it's four years old i would have a tough time relating or knowing what to do. but you have a concept. it's called be four bullying you can explain that. >> i have 4 1/2-year-old twins myself the reason i came to do this is because i am doing these things with my kids to prepare them. i felt that strategies i'm using i wanted others to have as well. so part of what we do is you no whoa have owe make it fun. we're talking about younger kids that won't get big concepts. so one thing we teach is bullying affects self-esteem especially in little ones we want to create a stronger core of self-esteem. one thing do i with little ones at home is every night at bedtime everybody is used to this by now we go around the room myself and husband included and we have to say one thing we liked about ourselves that day. and i encourage the kids to go first. hardest part for parents on

this is that they try to give the kids the answers and say well you did this or did that. really what parents have to do this is critical they have to not give the child the answer. we know to build self-esteem the child has to come one answer on own. we give them time, space and what we do as a parent we try to in a sense couch that as character trait. if i child says i ate my vehicleables tablz we say wow, you tried something new even though you deposit want to. great job. and so we try to in a sense make it character trait and try stabilize that core if they're saying things like i was kind to friend we say why you show kindness to people or they say i talked to a little girl who looked sad we say great job recognizing somebody else felt sad. we want them to come one it and we help them see what character traits they're working on. >> great idea now. what about to say brush off and bounce back. what would you mean by that

saying. >> so bullying as we know now they're looking for reaction. so that idea of fight back, or you know come back with smart comment, it doesn't work. because what a bully is looking for is reaction to know they got to you. so, we encourage all kids to not give any reaction to ignore it. so in order to teach this trait early on the thing of brush it off bounce back is visual thing we can teach kids. so you know something as simple you do hand motion and tell kids brush it off, boups back. that's a look to as something as simple as modeling as a parent which i encourage to do if you're in buying milk they don't have the milk you want you say to child you know what mommy is getting frustrated i wanted milling being it's not there and i will brush it off and bounce back and grab this one. in moments frustrated hurt, sad or disappointed they quickly sort of brush it off and bounce back and move forward. because that's the trait that we want them to have when theyen count are a bully.

♪ i'm bethal friend diy with this week's around the house. >> jonathan barski tweets the caulk around my tub is looking gross. do i need to hire a handyman or ki replace it myself? caulk has to be replaced every so many years. typically between five and seven. choose the proper caulk for your bathroom. you want to make sure you're buying silicone base typically come with a 7-year mold guarantee and choose almond or white depending on color of tub, tiles and tub color i itself. it's important you remove all of the old caulk before you begin applying new. you cannot caulk over old caulk. using a razorblade utility

knife loosen the old caulk and scrape it away from the joint. use a flat scraping raise or to get any more residue off the surface of the tub. wipe away excess caulk and then grab a paper towel with rubbing alcohol and clean the area to get rid of all residue. i suggest you use a large tube of caulk rather than hand held. you will cut tip on using caulk gun cut tip and use puncture tool pierce seal at the base of the spout. pull your caulk along or push it depending whichever movement you're comfortable. with. with i with a damp paper towel move out bead of caulk to create a nice clean deal. now you're done. be sure you read directions so you understand how much time i need wait before using your shower. if you allow it to dry fully. >> if you have a question you
