>> perfect weather, yeah. like that record temperature we had yesterday. we're in for it again today. >> like it. >> more record highs expected. stepping outside to a very mild start. a little bit of fog out there. this is our view down market street from the camera right here at fourth and market. 50's right now philadelphia did not drop below 50 degrees. barely dropped blow 50 in the north and western suburbs. very mild start when you step outside this morning. millville at 49. wildwood is at 52. a little bit of fog out there. just like yesterday. visibilities down in dover and lancaster, down to less than a quarter mile. one an quarter miles in reading. slow it down a little bit because you can see that visibility drop quickly y, it is national cocoa day. doesn't seem like it though. 50 up into the upper 60 that is could be record high temperatures so even short sleeves this afternoon for brief period of time. if you are outside watch it there's an air quality alert just like yesterday this for lancaster, berks and lehigh valley. poor air quality if your susceptible to that lung

ailments. might want to take easy if you have to go outside this afternoon. radar is all clear. we are up to 70. that's another record here in philadelphia. many records again today. numerous. all look at those numbers and we do see a return to the average temperature what we should see this time of year. we have bob kelly in here with an update on the roads this morning g morning, bob. >> good morning, everybody. getting ready for some eagles football. are you ready? eagles bills kick off of course 1:00 o'clock down at lincoln financial field. if you are going to be heading down to the game obviously the gates open early for tailgating but septa they've added their sports express trains on the subway as well as the market frankford line and remember on the weekends it's free parking at all of the regional rail parking lots. so take the kids for a train ride if you're going to be coming down to the football game later on today. and speaking of septa, they kick in a new timetable today across the board on all of its regional rail lines.

there are some minor schedule changes. big changes are coming to the airport line. however, there was printing error in the schedule that is were put out so that's why you weren't able to grab a timetable all last week. in order to get the new schedule for tomorrow morning, make sure you go to septa's website septa.org and if you're looking for something to do witness kids today, the biggest model train show on the east coast is taking place today at the expo center out there in oaks. keep that in mind, too, even if you're not going to the expo, if you're going out to the outlets out there you could have a little jammo. have great rest of the day. i'll see you right here bright and early tomorrow morning on good day. >> sounds good. thank you bob. 8:03. excuse me. one person is in the hospital following a stabbing outside a popular bar in manayunk. it happened around 1:30 near mad river and police say the victim was stabbed in the neck. he's currently in stable condition. coming up 8:04 new from

overnight a man who burst into a wal*mart packed with shoppers last night with two handguns and a machete has been shot and killed by police. this all happened at a packed store in east stroudsburg in monroe county up in the poconos. police say at least 100 people were in that store when the suspect began threatening customers. regional police up there order the suspect to drop his weapons. when he refused officers say they fired at the man striking him in the upper chest. they did perform first aid and cpr. he was pronounced dead at the hospital. we now know the name of the 15-year-old boy who was found dead in an abandoned car. philadelphia police have identified the victim as 15-year-old xavier stern. his body was found inside a broken down lincoln town car on park avenue near cumberland street in north philadelphia. someone discover the body and called police around 7:00 friday night. police say the boy had at least one gunshot wound to the head. detectives did not find a gun at the scene of the shooting.

they're still trying to determine if the death was a murder or suicide. a man is facing charges of sexual assault on a child in woodbury, new jersey. juan campos morales is behind bars in salem county and now investigators say immigration officials are looking into his background. he's accused of of sexually assaulting a minor several times -- he can could you say me in 2014 and even earlier this year. woodbury schoolteacher first went to police with the accusations. immigration officials say campos morales is from guatemala. very emotional goodbye for one of those 14 people killed out there in that attack in california. this person johnson was a health inspector in los angeles. he was buried in his hometown in georgia. the 45-year-old is remembered as a hero. one of the survivors claim claie single handedly saved her life that day. he wrapped his arms around her as the bullets were flying by and said, i got you.

those would turn out to be his last words. man under arrest accused of setting fire to a mosque in california. here's a picture of the suspect right there. 23 years old his name is carl james dial, jr. he is in jail for arson, hate crimes and burglary. the fire erupted in the lobby of the islamic society out there at the mosque. nobody was injured. and historic agreement to halt the pace of global warming and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. more than 190 countries signed on to the landmark accord and president obama commended the effort saying american leadership paved the way for success in paris. >> we may not live to see the full realization of our achievement, but that's okay. what matter social security that today we can be more confident that this planet is going to be in better shape for the next generation. and that's what i care about. >> lobby agreement does not impose penalties on countries that fail to meet their emission reduction targets.

pregnant. on the surface that doesn't sound like much of a big deal. let's explain it. this happens every day, right? in this case, the pregnancy was unexpected and a lot more ways than one. our lauren johnson has the sto story. >> reporter: we've all heard of same sex couple as adopting and surrogate mothers aren't big news but a same sex male couple giving birth naturally is sure to turn some heads. meet the colemans a philadelphia couple that made national headlines. kadin born female but transition to do male found out back in 2013 he was pregnant. that's right. a man giving birth. since then the family has documented their journey on instagram and youtube for thousands of followers. >> and they are with us this morning here on good day. hi kadin, he lie gentleman scale ya. >> she's lee is sleepy. >> let's talk about this story. so you were 10 years into your transition. >> yes, that's right. >> and what happened? >> well, one day i star the being really tired. >> okay.

>> i was working retail i had a really bad backache. >> okay. >> i asked he lie gentleman to give me a message i laid down and i fell like there was a pillow under me. i got up. let me smooth out the bed a little bit. laid back down. i was like, jokingly um, we should get a pregnancy test so we went to the local pharmacy or whatever and -- >> when you said this, did you really think this could be possible? >> no. i didn't think that because i had been on testosterone for so long. >> right. >> we took the pregnancy test and as soon as i took it, it read pregnant. he was watching tv and i looked out the bathroom door and i was like oh my god. >> what, what, what, what? >> i was like, it says pregnant. he was like oh, my god. >> we took eight more pregnancy tests after that. and then -- >> can't believe the first one. >> we had no idea. we finally went to the doctor. we thought we were probably like two months along. and the doctor was like, no, you're 21 weeks and we were like, wait a minute -- >> you're halfway through your pregnancy. >> yup. >> elijah what did you think?

>> i was just shocked. i was just shocked. i was excited and shocked all at the same time. >> did you guys weren't expecting this at all? >> no. >> and so for you, kadin, think opened up a pandora's box, you had to have conversations and things came out talk about that. >> yeah. well, his family had no idea that i was transgender. he wasn't going to tell them. how are we going to explain this child when she comes and so ended up having to tell his whole family actually, which didn't go over so smoothly. >> talk about it. how was that. >> thing about it i never felt the need to tell anyone about kadin being of man of transgender because that's not my place. when we found out we were having a baby it was coming out all over again. everyone didn't take to it very well. >> and now she's here and she's gorgeous and beautiful. how has it been? of course i'm following you guys on social media. >> yeah. >> been a process. >> it's been -- yeah, and tiring. we're all tired. all the time. but i mean she's great. she's actually really good kid.

this morning, and a few high clouds. it does make for great sun rises. pete zen us this here from new jersey looking pretty good out there this morning. because we had nice colors in the sky outside. i said -- did you use a filter for this? he said no way not on my weather shots. i like to do the same. beautiful start to the day there. with just a few clouds out there. temperatures very mild into the 50s. 54 in philadelphia. did not drop below 50 barely dropped blow 50 in allentown across the lehigh valley we're at 49. a couple 49 there is in millville. but a lot of 50s this morning. we are headed back to the record territory again today. 54 is our temperature. we are about 11 degrees away from record high. so easily setting a record here again in philadelphia. in fact here are the records. these are for today. maybe add a few degrees to these numbers and better chance for allentown and reading to set records today. didn't quite get there yesterd yesterday. so upper 60s, lower 70s. but things will start to change.

can do anything these days and soon that could include bringing images of people from very far away right into your home. >> let's explain this one. let's go to sue serio she has a little bit of our silly science. ♪ >> reporter: who doesn't love flash to philadelphia to sleepless in seattle to castaway to saving private ryan. he played so many different characters but we also identify him as tom hanks. now this sounds silly but scientists say they have found a way that this beloved actor's famous face could one day change the way you interact with a relative who lives far away or even your favorite celebrity. see if you can follow along here. this is a group of computer scientists from the university of washington. they figure out an algorithm that can take photos of somebody famous and actually build a 2d model of tom hanks' face that mimmics his mannerisms without
