joyce is live with the latest. what do we know at this early hour. >> reporter: good morning, karen. just moments ago. the cab was towed away. police on scene tell us a cab driver was shot in the shoulder and transported to presbyterian hospital. they got the call for botched robbery shooting after 3:30 this morning, officers tell us the cab driver picked up three passengers at broad and wharton streets. they told the driver to bring them here to 23rd and morris streets. once they arrived, police allege they tried to rob him, pulled out a gun and shot the cab driver. the driver was able to get out and run for help. police say a witness saw two people left in the vehicle, a man and woman. locked inside banking on windows asking for help. neighbors weren't sure what was going on. >> i came out my son woke me up and thought somebody's car had been hit. i came out and saw the cab sitting in the middle of the

dave warren, what are the temperatures? we've certainly below freezing at this point. >> colder there. the thing about the picture the snowfall or lack thereof, to rain we had melted a lot of that snow. still a little bit yesterday, which is melted and now refreezing, because the temperatures are down into the upper 20's and lower 20's if you head north and west. the chill in the air look for the icy spots that didn't draining or dry out has refrozen. 20's but worry headed for the lower 40's. watching that area of rain across texas. that will be our next storm. looks like it stays off the coast but it could be close enough. we'll watch this closely where part of the area by tomorrow night and early monday could be seeing a little bit of rain or snow. for the most part, looks like it's staying off the coast. temperatures today into the four times and dropping tonight but maybe not quite as cold. climbing into the mid to upper 40's tomorrow. so little warmup before that storm gets here. this is the the first in a series of of storms that we'll keep an eye on. this is how it should track up

what they want to do is try to go for an involuntary income or what we call a 302. we want you to get immediate help. the magistrate could agree and hold him for a 72 hour period for an evaluation to determine if needs to stay longer. >> you have a trial but you never give up on a kid. they have such potential. you just want them to realize their dreams and you watch them as it falls apart. what can you did? is there anything we can shake them and say please come back to us. >> if it were that simple, where he is, but everybody has to hit rock bottom and it's different for different people. for some it would have been not being drafted in the 3. my god i have to get my life together, not having a good season, my agent dropping me, browns getting ready to release me. that could be rock bottom. for some it's not enough. he has to come to a point where he realizes he needs help and support. that's the only way he's going to seek treatment and actually

20's in the to the north and west. a little chill in the air. watch the first step. it will be like this for the first hour, then with the sunshine we have, we'll see numbers warminging up nicely. ultimate doppler looking at a little snow passing by to our north. ly stay there to today, but a couple of storms developing here over the next for you days. this one is the big storm tomorrow. it looks like a lot of most of the moisture is off the coast, but we'll keep a close eye on the track because put to it's close enough you could see a little mix along the coast. this will be tomorrow night till monday. tuesday, here's the big one, area of low pressure comes down, redevelops off the coast of north carolina, these are tricky to forecast because it redevelops is key, because looks like monday to tuesday, in between these two, we'll see an area of snow developing and this will give us accumulating snow throughout the day on tuesday. several days to go, we'll plan for that this coming week. here it is in the seven-day forecast. you have a little mic, watching

the point being, we got super bowl. we needed wings. you guys are the ones to tell us a little bit about it. >> look at all men right here. who made what? let's start with you. >> korean style wings, sweet and spicy korean style barbecue sauce. we know them ace these nuts at the restaurant. toasted cashews. you know, it's great kind of just way to. >> there's three missing from that plate. >> we sampled them. >> that's fe though. >> moving down line. >> we have these are our menu thing, coconut curry wings, coconut spiceing with toasted coconut. again, little garnish.

>> looks like a roast chicken almost. >> they're dry rubbed smoked and grilled wings. little bit of a celery and carrot slip and fall, butter milk. they're on our menu at the little lion. other ones off menu. i put them put the lime in coconut wings. they're rum and you got limey's is syrup? >> over here we have hot wings, buffalo compeer lick wing, a little bit of toe bass co. bacon and fitting barbecue wings. >> i'm going to try. >> little bit of porter beer.

>> everybody back in. while we're sitting here eating. most of us will try to knock out some, the smart thing to do would be from you guys. any tips how -- maybe not this grit, but making our own wings to look out for. >> make sure you preroast any kind of wing before you friday it. >> you don't want to poison your guests. >> you got crisp ier wings. >> is it about the sauce. >> yes, it's about the sauce. >> you do dry rub. the dry rub gives it up. sauce kind of makes the wings. >> best tip? >> i think it's in the rub. in the preparation. because like he said. >> tell me, which one did you try. >> i tried this one the one on the end was very tender. >> off the charts.
