was being courted the most in the final days and we saw clinton and sanders focusing almost exclusively in the last couple days on issues that are most important to african-americans in the state, especially begun con role. we are in the state where there was a mass shooting at a black church this past summer and also on criminal justice reform and the black lives matter movement was active in the state in the last few days. they were making their voices heard. clinton and sanders both made passionate pleas to african-american voters and they are generally favoring clinton statewide. but that could change. especially because a lot of them are still undecided. >> we'll say. > what time do the polls close there, peter? >> 7:00 tonight. > we've got just under 12 hours. > thank you, peter. > words are one thing, actions are another. >> the fact that senator sanders

8:30 am
this day. i see a motorcycle. i guess that is mr. bill perez's. >> big bill is out. he wants to get some therapy riding time in today. that's what he calls it. a perfect day for that. the light wind is out there. my daughter's birthday is leap year day. she is only 11, still going to atlantic city and can't gamble for another 18 years. good day on monday wants all the leap year babies to come in. they should go onto good day on monday morning. >> go on good damon morning? she's going to atlantic city. she wants to have good weather. so they're all coming in, they're going to be about what, eight, nine years role. >> that's it. good weather in atlantic city. come on in. perfect weather for that. temperatures this afternoon right about 40. look at tomorrow, up into the 50s, close to 60-degrees. we do get quit a bit warmer.
8:31 am
we just have to wait l until tomorrow. the trend continues in the seven day forecast. those numbers are coming up a little bit later. > let's talk local hoops. villanova, they had a tough loss at xavier the other night, but the wild cats are hoping to regain some momentum today as they go against mar pharmacokinetic. remember on wednesday they lost by 7 points at number five xavier over in cincinnati. so on friday, coach jay wright talked about the mood of the wild cats after that loss, the first one in a month. a little shocked, i think. i still think we're recovering a little bit and we have to get over that. we fully expected to go into xavier and play a lot better. win or lose, i don't know, but we thought we'd play better. we're just trying to tighten everything up and get ready for the next game. there are small things we need to get better at. all of us are willing to get better. none of us are out here with a
8:32 am
big ego thing. > it was a tough loss, but what does it mean. our own tom sredenschek is here. >> i loved the analogy people lose, a loss is good, a loss can be healthy this time of year. i talked to jay wright afterwards, do you think coaches go into a game and say we should really lose this game to wake us up? no, you coach to win every gay. even when they were winning, they were making a lot of mistakes. suddenly it says to the players, all those little mistakes you can't cover up anymore as you go into march. the biggest thing as we watched xavier, 90 points. defense has to get tighter today. can you win march madness, go all the championship if you rely so much on outside shooting. >> you knowledge can. but the biggest fear that you have is your leading scorer has a bad game. they have so am big scorers.
8:33 am
brian archie, another. the fact that they're balanced is good. the other thing that i really like about this team, compared to loot of other teams in the country right now, you have five starters, one freshman, two seniors, two juniors. this time of year these kids have played together for at least three years and that cohesiveness and other teams across the country, the dukes don't necessarily have. >> did you mention myal ma mart tear. >> i did. > what was scary about it, you talked about all the points they gave up, but half of the points were in the team. when you can get the big guy in the middle that distributes the ball, he's the unique player. everything that we talked about on friday, practice with jay wright was defense, defense, defense. it has to get better. it starts today and a dangerous mar ket team. >> they trailed mar market by a
8:34 am
point. they're thinking this is the win, the signature win that can push them into the tournament. this is a closer game than people think it is. market is on the bubble. >> villanova, though, smoked them in december by 30 points. trailed xavier. >> it's a different xavier team and the kid we talked about, edwin simmons got hurt in the first half of that game. there was no way villanova was winning that game the other day. your coverage right here on fox. > make sure you're watching. >> thanks. > my pleasure. you know who that is,? do you recognize her. >> this is lauren onions. she's an athlete in her own right. she ran track. taking center stage. i think her brother is in town and somebody else. she's having fun, going around
8:35 am
the town. sixers light squad dunking over lauren and she's a tall woman. a lot of fun. also another member of our team was at the epilepsy foundation at earn pennsylvania holding its ninth annual mardi gras gala. last night at the crystal tea room, gorgeous place in center city, this is who raise money to help honor the doctors and the volunteers to give back to raise money for epilepsy. there he is, chris o'connell, the mc. remember the days when people used to go out and they had a three martini lunch? that was back in the day. you get to run out for an hour and meet somebody. too am of us are going to the calf tier a and we're eating at our desk. lots of people do it. is it a good idea why one expert says no, stop eating at your desk. plus, coffee and comic books. that's a combination that intrigues you you're in for a treat. we'll tell you how one local

woman's dream is becoming a big hit. that is coming up on philadelphia good day.
8:37 am
8:38 am
> welcome back. it is 8:38. so when have a question for you. do you sit at your desk and eat your lunch or do you get to go out, stroll around the block
8:39 am
when you get to lunchtime. >> nope, almost never. days of leaving your desk to go out or leaving the cafeteria appear to be over. more and more people are eating their lunch at their desk. i eat in the car sometimes, is that wrong. >> in front of the steering wheel is where i eat most of my wheels. desktop dining, 62 percent of professionals say they do it. experts say the people feel pressure because they want to be more productive. you want to seem like you're working, clanging away at your computer. people think they get more done because they're working through their lunch. but it's not the case. >> explain, dave. eating at your desk could actually have the opposite affect and that's because experts say that the desktop dining isn't even -- not healthy. > let's hear what experts say. very few bosses today are impressed just because someone doesn't leave their desk. they actually want to see people working smartly and productively and interacting and engaging.
8:40 am
so if that's the reason why you're working at your desk, then it's the wrong reason and you're in the achieving what you think you're getting out of it. > so there you go. it's not even healthy because you end up scarfing down your food, eating things that aren't good for you, kind of a quick meal. >> so now get up and go out and have a nice lunch. >> the worst food that anybody could eat anywhere is a healthy salad. don't do it, good day. thank you. go out and get lunch. eating at your desk is unhealthy? >> i think being unemployed because you're not getting work done is even more unhealthy. >> true. > we're going to ask you what you think about this one. it is our poll. you can vote in our good day reaction. you can vote on twitter just use the #fox29 yes or fox 29 no. > what's the question, do you eat at your desk. >> no. > you don't eat at your desk? >> yes, i do.
8:41 am
> dave, two seconds. absolutely, i do. let's go to break.
