now. happening right now, we know that one person is in the hospital following this crash. that's a bad one wound up upside down in the northeast right at red lion road and sand meyer lane. this is about 1:30 this morning. police say one of the victims a woman had to be cut out of the vehicle after she crashed into a pole. she is in stable condition. we don't know what caused that crash. and there was a bar in old city they needed to evacuate because of carbon monoxide. this happened at italian restaurant at second and chestnut. restaurants of the upstairs apartments also had to leave their homes for while overnight. police say there was a broken pipe in the basement of the restaurant and that was to bla blame. the residents are back in their homes this morning at the apartment building in wilmington where four people were found dead on friday. early indications that they died of carbon monoxide poisoning at the evergreen apartments at riverfront heights. apartment management told tenants that the cause appears to have been with a boiler

exhaust pipe which had passed its last inspection. now the pipes in that building and other buildings were replaced yesterday before tenants were given the all cle clear. but some weren't ready to go back. >> i'm not going to go in there and jeopardize knee me or my fiance'. >> reporter: you still are not feeling safe. >> i'm not feeling safe at all. like even with the letters they had up on the earlier today saying the building was unsafe now you took them down talking about they safe, it's not safe. >> now there's no official cause of death until autopsy results come in later on this week. disturbing allegations against an american airlines co-pilot who was scheduled to fly to philadelphia. faa officials say he failed two sobriety tests at an airport in detroit early in the morning. there's a picture of him right there from one of the passengers took. so that flight needed to be canceled and he was detained. officials have not released much information about the co-pilot but they do say he's from our area, pennsylvania and in his early 50s. investigators are determining if

charges will be filed against him. some passengers were concerned to hear what will happen with that flight. >> many others have -- how many others. i mean just got to really kind of look at that. >> that wasn't was caught. what about everybody else. should they all go through a sobriety test before they start flying? >> the flight to philadelphia was canceled, and passengers were booked on other flights. a man in delaware under arrest for what police say is his fourth dui. 29-year-old philip b. spear was arrested saturday afternoon along sussex highway. police say they found his car stopped in the right turn lane with spear slumped over the steering wheel. investigators also found heroin in his car. he now facing multiple charges. ♪ and now to the latest on this terror attacks in brussels. more american victims of the attacks have been identified and three suspects have been now charged in connection with those attacks. we now know who 24 of the 31

victims who lost their lives. it was a couple from tennessee justin schultz and his wife stephanie. they've been identified by their employees on their facebook page they said her family confirmed she and her husband died in the bombings at the brussels airpo airport. meanwhile, belgium prosecutor as nounsed they have charged three men with terror offenses over the suicide attacks on the brussels airport and the subway. those are the three suspects the first two taken in custody earlier in the week and the one on the right in that light colored jacket he was arrested yesterday. belgium media said he was the man in that vest, those were the people suspects in connection with that attack. 7:09. moving on to you decide coverage right now. it was a big night for democratic presidential candidate bernie sanders. the senator from vermont won alaska, hawaii and washington in a western sweep. his victories could now mean that hillary clinton's focus on the general election may be a little bit premature.

welcome back. they're already starting to sell the villanova final four shirts. they go on sale in half hour. let's take look at our top stories. friends, family and fellow law enforcement officers paying their respects to ronald heist yesterday. more than 600 people showed up this is the york county fairgrounds. so big they had to have it there to say goodbye to just one of those two men who were killed in turnpike robbery last sunday. heist was working as a security officer when he was shot and killed by a retired pennsylvania state trooper clarence briggs who was killed in a shootout with current state troopers. as investigators say he was trying to get away with a truck that collects the toll money. it will be a tough holiday for one local family. this will be their first easter without man-man. you remember the story. 12-year-old who died trying to save his father. karen you actually did the story. met the family. he died trying so save his

with that east wind. ultimate doppler will stay clear today but look at what it look like tomorrow morning. we have rain coming in. periods of rain developing overnight tonight. rain continuing by about 12. it will start to clear out by about two or 3:00 o'clock. but then that gusty wind picks up. we're talking about wind gusts close to 40 miles an hour. it's calm in the morning. these are the wind gusts speeds look at all these rapidly increase tomorrow afternoon and evening and start to bring in cooler air but it will be seeing a gusty wind especially tomorrow night once the rain clears out. it will help with the allergy a little bitly not the case today. down to medium monday and tuesday. back up to high on wednesday. look at these temperatures seven day forecast has a 58 up to 65 tomorrow. so it does get warmer. the temperature in the morning right about 50. little cooler on tuesday. a very cold start wednesday morning as the wind ties down. it is clear but cold by the afternoon a little warmer. 70s on thursday.

your headlines today. one person is in the hospital following a crash in northeast philadelphia. it happened at red lion road and sandmeyer lane around 1:30 this morning. police say a woman had to be cut out of her vehicle after she crashed into a pole. the victim is in stable condition and so far no word on the cause of the crash. in old city bar was evacuated because of carbon monoxide. this happened at italian restaurant at second and chestnut. residents were also forced to leave for while overnight. police say a broken pipe in the basement of the restaurant was to blame. some people are back in their homes this morning at an apartment building in wilmington where four people were found dead on friday. such a tragedy in the early indications on this by all accounts they died of carbon monoxide poisoning at the evergreen apartments at the riverfront heights apartment management told tenants the cause appears to have been a boiler exhaust pipe which had passed its last inspection.

the pipe in that building and others were replaced yesterday before tenants were given the all clear but some were a little concerned about going back. >> i'm not going to go in the and jeopardize me or my fiance'. >> reporter: you still are not feeling safe. >> i'm in the feeling safe at all. like wine the letters they had up on the door earlier today saying the building was unsafe, now ya'll took them down talking about they safe. the not safe. >> there is no official cause of death until those autopsy results will come in a little later this week. disturbing allegations against an american airlines co-pilot who was scheduled to fly into philadelphia. faa officials say he failed two sobriety tests at an airport in detroit. so the flight was canceled and he was detained. you're seeing him right there. seeing him being detained. officials have fought released much information about the co-pilot but they say he's from pennsylvania and in his early 50s. investigators are determining if charges will be filed against him. some passengers were concerned to hear what happened with that

flight. >> many others have slipped through the cracks. i mean how many others? >> i mean, just got to really kind of look at that. >> that one was caught. what about everybody else? should they all go through a sobriety test before they start flying? >> scary. legitimate concerns. the flight to philadelphia of course had to be canceled and passengers were booked on other flights. the man in delaware now under arrest for what police say is his fourth dui. just 29 years old his name is philip b. spear there he is arrested saturday afternoon right on the sussex highway. police say they found his car stopped in the right turn lane. he was slumped over the steering wheel. they also found heroin investigators say in his car. he faces multiple charges. ♪ and now to the latest on the terror attacks in brussels. more american victims of the attacks have been identified and three suspects have been charged in those attacks. we know now who 24 of the 31 victims who lost their lives are.

a couple from tennessee, justin schultz and his wife stephanie, have been identified by their employers mars incorporated. her family had confirmed she and her husband died in the bombings at the brussels airport. meanwhile, belgium prosecutors announced they have charg chargd three men with terror offenses over the suicide attacks on the brussels airport and subway. is a few was arrested yesterday. belgium media said he was the man in the light vest and hat pictured on security video with two men who blew themselves up at the airport. the pope begins a hopeful message to the faithful at the annual nighttime easter vigil mass. amidst all the violence shane europe pope francis used the story of the resurrection of jesus to up lift people's spirits. they have the candles lit to signify light and hope of resurrection. the pontiff will conclude holy week of course today and give that big mass at saint peter's. all right. do you like eggs. >> i loving. >> eggs for breakfast. good stuff.

♪ in your health news this morning it is easter sunday and with the holiday comes a lot of food you've got chocolate, marshmallow peeps and of course the good old classic easter egg. yes, easter is a holiday what we have lots of eggs. some are candy some are plastic some are just eggs and that's what we're talking about this morning. researchers say the penn fits of eggs have shown mixed results. the fox medical team deena centofanti joins to us clear up

any confusion. deena, good morning, happy easter. >> good morning, happy easter. this the day if there's any day the egg has it is today. the egg is celebrated today. whether it's in little plastic form with chocolate inside or like this, you know, hard boiled and colored and all those beautiful dies. here's the thing. for long time the egg was vilified nutrition world did not embrace the egg because of the cholesterol levels. so an egg does have quite a bit of cholesterol but this is what recent research has found that when you are eating foods high in cholesterol if there's a lack of saturated fat you don't really have to worry about the cholesterols. just eating this food is dot not going to increase your bad cholesterol level. that's really good news. >> i was going to say that. >> that's game changer for the egg. >> great news. because i eat about two or three a day because i don't eat lot of meat for me it's protein. >> and you're exactly right. nutritionists essay he is special physical you're eating a hard boiled egg not a three egg

out too long, right? >> yes. in fact that's become the main concern now with egg. they're not worried about cholesterol any more. egg sitting out at room temperature for too long. you got to get them back in the fridge after about an hour or zomax. once they're in the fridge they'll last for couple of days. i mean, i keep mine for longer than that but the official recommendation i think is about three days. i did look up by the way if you're making eggs today, to make the perfect hard boiled egg you want the secret to it? you put the eggs in the pan, cover it with cool water about an inch, bring them to a boil and turn off the heat cover the eggs and let them sit for 12 minutes. that's according to martha stewart. >> that is a good trick. i always let my boil and rumble for about 12 to 15 minutes. >> i know. i know. as soon as they get to a boil, cover them and let them sit. that's what mashua says. >> deena, thanks for all the tips. >> okay, thanks. happy easter. >> happy easter to you, too. >> bill, karen.

thank you lauren. >> now the cdc has updated their recommendation on how long men and women exposed to the zika virus should wait before trying to conceive a child. they say that women diagnosed with zika should wait eight weeks after symptoms began and men at least six months. zika has not been proven to cause microcephaly a condition defined by newborns with unusually small heads. but there is growing evidence that there could be a link between the two. women in the united states are choosing to deliver their babies either at home or in birthing centers. the university of maryland researchers say nearly one and a half% of babies born in the united states in 2014 were born outside of the hospital. the team says this trend is not going to the maternity ward gather something steam over the last decade. we have the first birth center in the entire country bryn mawr birth center i had all three of my babies there. >> nice. new information now, oil a little concerned about this story because we are sitting here doing it. but apparently sitting for more than three hours a day is linked

rain then the winds. the winds will gust 30 to 40 miles an hour from the west not the east tomorrow afternoon. that will bring in some colder air. cal and in the morning but look at that wave of wind there. just moving on in wind gusts 30 to 40 miles an hour. it will certainly feel that by tomorrow evening. and it continues tuesday and brings in. cooler air. so the allergy report will help. monday and tuesday but today and then again wednesday it is high. we have the maple and juniper there the biggest allergens in the air so 58 today. then 65 tomorrow. little cooler on tuesday. as the wind ties down, the temperatures drop. wednesday morning, a chilly start. 38 degrees. freezing in those suburbs. so watch the flowers if you're planting them if they're in the ground already. by thursday and friday we're back into the 60s and 70's but there's some rain back in the forecast 70-degree temperature on thursday. friday back down to 65. it's dry next weekend just a little cooler. >> wahoo, all right, dave, thank you. juniper make ugh sneeze.

just a handful of tools, ladder, some screws, screwdriver you can have that up in about 15 minutes and be the envy of your neighbor. >> i love it. now this is the one. you can add some trim around our front doors. how do we do and how long is that going to take me? >> that is about the same amount of time. in this photo you'll see also there's a window or door mantle above the door and the side trim pieces are called pile laughters and they go up very quickly as well. they can be put right over top of the the existing siding right over top of the existing brick maybe these are very easy to install and fun to install. >> but they look so expensive and gorgeous. >> they do. and that's where it adds a lot of value to the house. so you certainly want to be able to look at the niceness of it and also look at the value it's adding. >> you brought us props. big up this big one. where the heck does this one go right here. >> this is a gable vent it's very detailed. and it also allows heat to escape out of the attic. it's very useful for that.
