several baby registrys is charged with kidnapping an if i am not after walking out of the king of prussia with a seven week i do not baby. at least one person who knows her well does not believe she was ever pregnant. according to court documents she told police had he she had a baby who died in february. we do know amoore was preparing for baby. she had two baby registries and a baby shower, but the mother of amoore's boyfriend says she thinkses there never was a child. gail biggers who would have been baby's grandmother believes she pulled her sonogram images off the internet and kept moving her die date and always scheduled happened doctor appointments for while her son was at work. she says her son never saw any till the night of the kidnapping. >> my birthday is the 18th december, like i'm telling you the story, there were so many different conflicting stories. and the next thing you know, she

said she had baby february 11th. this is renee amoore, this is her at court. she was there in support of her daughter. she frequently appears right here as a political guest on good day philadelphia. the baby's mother, malika hunterer says it's almost impossible to explain how she feels. >> you can't fill your void by someone else's void. it's something you can't explain as a mother when your child has been taken from you. you can't explain how you feel. >> now, that baby and mother are reunited. here is the suspect, cherie amoore being held on 500 thousand dollars bail. due back in court for a preliminary hearing on april 15th. happening now, an investigation into a deadly crash in montgomery county. you can see crews working on the pole that police say a driver crashed into. they say the driver was going 105 miles an hour in a 35 miles an hour zone along main street

in red hill. investigators say the car hit the pole and then caught on fire. police are looking into the circumstances surrounding the crash. the brandywine valley spca and state police are trying to find whoever shot and killed two dogs. according to the spca, a downingtown resident noticed her two dogs oliver and buddha, notice they were they were missing from the yard, unfortunately dead al saw million road. a $1,000 reward is offered for information lead to go an arrest. 7:07. safety concerns in a wilmington neighborhood after two murders this weekend and fears of retaliation. local officials are in the taking this lightly. they gather with cooler scary, lease and community leaders to bring attention to the problems of gun violence and to ask people to get involved. report crime and take a stand against people who are causing problems in neighborhood all over the city. >> what i'm asking is for a cease violence.

you about. a 32-year-old woman charged with kidnapping after she walked out of the king of prussia mall. she gave birth to a baby boy in february but he died within hours. other people don't believe the story. raying doubts that amoore was ever even pregnant. joining us by skype this morning, attorney heather hasn't son to break it down for us. we will get healther up in just a moment. continue. healther, assuming for a second, assuming for a second that what we're hearing right now is true, that there was a baby, that she was suffering some sort of postpartum depression, is that a valid defense? >> listen, it has served as a valued defense in a number of cases where women have actually killed their children and instant defense has worked for them. for this woman, it will be difficult. it has to reach to the extent of

psychosis in order to serve as real defense. she has to have not known the difference between right wrong and given the fact police say i took the baby i knew it was wrong type of thing is going to be difficult for her to now claim an insanity defense and get a completely not guilty out of that we talk about pore partum, now there's questions that there ever was a baby how is it that play in. >> sound as though if she was creating this whole idea of a baby for months and months, it may actually further supporter she has mental issue and was unable to actually discern difference between right and wrong. i believe ultimately, it's not as if she's going to get a not guilty. i think it may serve well for her with regard to sentencing. oftentimes judges feel badly for people like this. doesn't like like she mistreated baby, took it home, took good

care of it. i believe all of that will go into the sentencing and whether or not there's leniency. if she made it up. again, it goes toward her mental health and her ability to discern right wrong. i believe ultimately she's going to do some time. >> the interesting part about this, as you mentioned out, people tend to be more sympathetic to the post partum argument, in the so much to completely making a story up. how this plays out will determine how much time. the not guilty based on what we know right now, you're not seeing that happening. >> even if assuming that she did have the baby and she had postpartum, we don't want sort of make it look as though part partum is something causes people to do this type of thing. many women suffer from postpartum depression. they don't go around doing this type of thing. there's something called post par trump psychosis, and sometimes that will actually work. here, i don't think that's going to enhancement. i believe she would be very, very hard pressed to say that
