death in the still tonville seconds of the city. >> it happened around 3:30 and jennifer joyce is live at sane christopher's hospital for children with the latest. jenny, good morning. >> reporter: good morning, bill and at this point, police are looking for the person responsible for this fatal shooting of a 17-year-old boy. he was transported here to saint christopher's hospital overnight where he died. police say this happened around 3:30 this morning, as you mentioned in the tell the tonville section of the city, 400 block of east wyoming miami outside of a club called the emergency cafe lounge. the teen was shot once in the chest. no word on what led to the shooting, no ballistics evidence found at the scene. at this point, the victim's name has not been released and again, police are still looking for the shooter. and anyone else who may be involved in this. anyone with information is, of course, urged to call philadelphia police department. karen and bill? >> thanks so much. keep us informed with any new information. 7:05.

washington township police are investigating a deadly accident overnight. police say a person was hit and killed al new jersey state road 42. reports that the person killed was a teenager and police are expected to release more details as they have it about this incident later on this morning. three people in the hospital this morning after a car accident this happened in the bridesburg section. police say driver was speeding, lost control of the car and struck a light pole. officials say there was a man sitting in the back seat who was not wearing his seatbelt and became trapped in the car. a 7-year-old was also in the car at the time. police were able to get the man out. fortunately. everyone has nonlife-threatening injuries. a woman covered in blood screams for help on a busy street in broad daylight. police say the victim was kidnapped's thankfully survived the terrifying ordeal. the 20-year-old woman escaped an 11-hour long abduction that started early saturday morning. investigators say the victim was forced at gunpoint into a black

car interior corner of 49th and lancaster in the city's park side neighborhood. police say the the woman was bound with duck tape sexual assaulted two miles away from where the woman was taken yesterday afternoon. witnesses heard the screams and the screech of a car and saw the traumatized woman fleeing for her life. >> she was real bloody. she still had duck tape on her and stuff like that. she was like half naked, realing you know, distraught looking for help. everybody was call 911 for her. >> police say the woman was able to free herself. witnesses say she may have just been doctor'sed off by here say lent. authorities describe the suspect's car as black four-door vehicle with tinted windows and a trash bag covering the rear driver's side window. if you have information call police. 7:06, official says they found human remains along the banks of the cooper river in the pennsauken area. volunteers were part of a spring

clean-up program found a human skull and several bones near the 2900 block of the admiral wilson boulevard. investigators trying to identify the remains. police looking for a killer who gunned down a man in north philadelphia. a 36-year-old man shot several times inside a car on west hundred to know street just before 5:00 this evening. police say the gunman had on a water department vest or jacket. an expensive case of vandalism in one philadelphia neighborhood. tires are slashed on more than a dozen cars. the assault rifle people on the 7900 block put of christian in the graduate section of the city. woke up to find their tires slashed. police say at least 13 vehicles damaged. people who live in the area are shocked that something like this would happen. >> i was sleeping. 3:00 in morning, 3:30, the cops banged on my door, i came outside. they said someone slashed the

tires. i'm grateful they didn't break the glass or steal anything from the car. >> i wouldn't expect it to happen again. >> philadelphia police say when they responded, they to understand the suspect on the corner of 17 and street with a knife and a cell phone. the 54-year-old was, of course, taken into custody. are we going to be paying more for gas? could be well into the summer before we know for people in new jersey from the state's gas tax is going to be helping the roads and bridges. transportation funding coming back one of the top issues among chris christie and other new jersey lawmakers. last week, a democratic senator unveiled a fan he says includes the tax fairness that constitutes ty wants and that the democrats say is necessary. christy says he will not support a bill without lowering other taxes in exchange for hiking the fuel tax. meanwhile, gas prices rose one penny over the last week. we continue to remember the

life of music legend prince. he was celebrated at a private ceremony yesterday. >> a small group of family and friend gathered at paisley park yesterday to say good-bye. among those in attendance were his sister, sheila e, they they did so many songs, larry graham and after the ceremony, purple and white flowers were handed out to the fans who gathered outside the complex. prince's publicist announced that the super star's remains were cremated and the remains will at any private the ben franklin parkway was lit up in special purple to honor prince. the delaware port authority ceo says the lighting is just a small way to memorialize and honor prince's amazing talent. many iconic buildings and structures around the world are celebrating his legacy with similar tributes. >> saturday night live had a special tribute.

city. >> just about three and a half hours ago, that is when he died. let's get out to jenny joyce live at saint christopher's hospital for children. what have you learned? >> reporter: well, we do know to police are looking for the person responsible in this fatal shooting of a 17-year-old who was brought here to saint christopher's hospital overnight. he was pronounced dead here at the hospital. police tell us that this shooting happened around 3:30 this morning 400 block of east wyoming avenue outside of a club called the emergency cafe lounge. teen was shot once in the chest, no word what led to the shooting, there was no ballistics evidence found at the scene. at this point, the victim's name not been released. again, police still looking for the shooter, and anyone else who may have been involved with this. anyone with any information is urged to contact the philadelphia police department. karen and bill? >> is thank you. from that sad news to more sad news another young life

lost. washington township police are investigating a deadly accident overnight. a person was hit and killed al new jersey state road 42. there are reports that the person killed was a teenager. police are expected to release more details about this incident a little later this morning. three people are in the hospital this morning after a car accident in the city's brideberg section. police say driver was speeding, lost control of the car and hit a light pole. a man sitting in the back seat was not wearing his seatbelt and became trapped in the car. a 7-year-old was also in the car at the time. police were able to get the man out. unfortunately, fortunately, i'm sorry, everyone has nonlife-threatening injuries. 8:03. an absolutely horrifying situation, a woman covered in blood scream forgot help on a busy street. police say the victim was kidnapped. she did physically survive this ordeal but emotionally, this is really tough. police say the 20-year-old woman

escaped an 11-hour abduction that started early saturday morning. investigators say the victim was forced at gunpoint into a black car near 49 and and lance in the city's park side neighborhood. witnesses say they heard screams and the screech of a car and saw this clearly traumatized woman running for her life. >> she was like real bloody. she had had duck tape on her and stuff like that. she was half naked. real distraught looking for help. everybody was call 911 for her. >> police say it woman was able to free herself. she could possibly have been dropped off by her assailant. she was assaulted. authorities describe the suspect's black car as a black four-door vehicle with tinted windows and a trash bag covering the year driver's side window. officials say that human remains were found al the banks of the cooper river if pennsauken new jersey. they say volunteers who were part of a spring clean-up program found a human skull and several bones near the 2900

just like that. add it to the bowl. we're going to continue to do that. about half pine apple. you don't have to be precise only. add that to the bowl. nice slices, next we're going to take a red onion and take the red onion and cut that in slices as well. take your time. this is going to give a nice circle slices and break that up with your hand, put that in the bowl. the tricky part of this dish. i don't know if everyone heard of. he said like a mexican potato a root vegetable. some people say it has the sweetness of an apple. some kind of a raw green bean but great on salads and sides. good with fruit. we're going to slice it and julieann it. we're going to add that to the bowl. were take a red pepper. half it.

same thing, nice strips of red pepper. we're going to add that to the bowl. great color here, you got the pine apple, the hick ma, red onion, we're going to do a real simple seasoning, add a little bit of parsley, whatever you prefer, just a pinch. we'll add a little bit of vine gar. you can have your choice here, i use champagne vinegar in. little bit of olive oil. when you do this, you want to use about twice as much olive oil as you do, you want to use lemon or lime for the summer and a little bit of a guave to help enhance the pine apple. finish it off with ground salt. and a little fresh ground pepper. and then you want to take this and's gently mix.
