the rest of the transaction was done between the two of them. then they got all the arrangements together for the party. >> so my lights, the cops, this was mostly for the tent. >> on july 4, it all came tumbling down. >> i get in email from air b&b on july 4 that said my reservation was canceled. he finally got back to me on friday the eighth, due to unfortunate circumstances that his mom has stage iv cancer and some guess, he had a prom party or something that they wrecked his house. >> he is refusing to hold the wedding at this home, air b&b had returned $250, but he has

yet to do the same. he only returned about $1500 on the first deposit but the rest of the money is nowhere to be found for jenny and her fiancé. that is leaving them in a pickle. they cannot afford to pay for a new venue venue and they are desperately trying to search for a way to keep their wedding up and running. >> i'm amazed that air b&b is a place where people go to find a wedding venue. i guess hotels are expensive. that. that was the first thing i thought of. i didn't realize i was a thing today. >> at a lot of times people want to have a low-key setting. she wanted the setting because her mother is ill, her grandmother is ill, her grandmothers in a wheelchair. >> i could have just gone to the caribbean and had a beautiful wedding for half the price but i want my grandmother to go. >> is it seriously 19?

>> coming here to alpine, new jersey and found an eviction notice on the front door. it turns out that he is not the owner of this property at all. he is actually attended himself. air b&b is not supposed to be for tenants or renters of a property, but the owner is supposed to rent. so now i'm trying to learn more about this tenant and try to get their money back for jenny and her fiancé. in the meantime, they still need a venue, if anybody at home has any idea of how they can do this, in an affordable fashion tweet me at diana black or wheat the show. >> ashley, social media wise i have to believe that this is the kind of thing that is the kind of thing that facebook goes crazy over. >> the support on social media has been nuts. we have gotten calls, tweets, e-mails, diana and i have already talked to some potential venues. we are sure that we will have good news for jenny coming up.

let's just keep sharing her story with the # at jenny mary. if anyone can anyone can help tweet us or facebook us. >> members of the police department were caught on film apparently not working. in fact, in some cases they appear to be at their jersey shore homes when they were supposed to be supervising off duty assignments, paid by the city. according to documents lieutenant crowley was assigned as a shift supervisor on multiple dates in january and february. he was caught on video not working at home leaving work up to three hours early and even going to the jersey shore, arriving before his shift was over. the investigation was started by a man who actually staked out the office where the off duty assignment are managed. i met him outside the office. >> i was following the lieutenant, he he is a top traffic safety cop in jersey city. i was following him because of all of the stories that were

coming out about people stealing time with off-duty jobs. i received tips that he was engaging in the practice. i checked it out and it turned out true. >> he explained that he met him on january 12, 22nd and 20 seventh, leaving his shift three hours early, getting on the turnpike and was at his shore house before his shift was over. i obtained the off-duty assignment schedule and confirmed his assignment shift and times. the investigation also found another officer who it we are not identified because they have not confirmed an investigation with the department. he appears not to be working. on january 13 he was scheduled to work from 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. on the video you see him leaving at 1:35 p.m. >> that. >> that is going to be him coming down the street. that is the first time i followed him on the 13th.

i followed him down the shore. if you're shift is ending in jersey city at 4:00 p.m. and you are the point pleasant area at 4:00 p.m., you put two and two together. you you may have not been working your full shift. >> off-duty work is one of the perks of being a jersey city officer. >> the problem is you do have people stealing time. it's more of a systematic issue and there has not been a protocol put in place so far to make sure people are not stealing time, especially the supervisor. >> according to the documents obtained, the officers did receive their full payment for these days. i also confirmed through my request of the documents. for that shift, for lieutenant crowley, he received $1580 for the three shifts in total. i reached out to the police department and others but no one has responded. we have this document that was sent, it is an internal investigation that was started on lieutenant crowley

based on this video that they are now looking into this and investigating that because of what michael found. >> corruption in government is nothing new. what i learned from this is it is a private companies private companies that are paying the bill not taxpayers. in that sense that is an interesting know. it is an opportunity for the cops. who verifies the videos are accurate, authentic and are actually done at the time he says they were. >> right now we have - cam video that is time stamped and the documents that show that. we are looking into his investigation what he has done, but what he has done has been for the internal affairs department to work into it as well. other offices are looking into it as well. >> not that new york needed any other problems, but now, if you

was to mark. >> is sometimes a loner, sometimes really. pretty average kid in school. walk through the halls like anybody else, very humble, is nott asking for any fanfare. >> i asked if you knew that she was going to be bound for the elliptic's? >> her older brother is here and he's pretty good. and they said she's even better. and then after a few weeks of training i could tell that she was on like anybody i had ever coached. i asked what was the secret? how did you make it to the olympics was a secret ingredient? >> is there any special food sheets? or anything anything she does to make her extraordinary? that could make the rest of us extraordinary too? >> i don't think think i have an answer for you. she eats a lot of stuff. she likes cheeseburgers.

so maybe more cheeseburgers and i can be headed to the olympics. this is also the first time the coach will be physically going to the olympics himself. he has just become an olympic coach i cannot even get used to saying the words. >> this is the ultimate and it is something that we talked about this time last year. for it to all actually happen, set the goals, she set her goals and for it all to come together it is a combination of combination of a year of planning. and three years of work but three years of work and saying this is a possibility and it actually happened. >> what are the expectations for the elliptic's? is a goal? >> he said no it's for her to be do the best she can and he hopes is the first of many olympics.
