christmas in july event for a lot of people are going to be taking motorcycles and gifts for kids. there might be a lot of sunshine this afternoon. it's kind of a double-edged sword when the sun comes out. it will cook up the atmosphere and get storms going. we don't want too much just enough to enjoy our sunday. it's mostly cloudy skies right now. across the delaware valley. some spots seeing gusting showers and storms, we'll go to ultimate doppler in a second. if we take a look, last 24 hours, it was all about mercer county. five to six inches of rain. just outside of lawrence township right along route one where it splits into route 9. this was nasty rain that came down. now, dealing with mostly cloudy skies, temperature right now is 76 degrees, very balmy with a southerly's wind at five. the big story we talked about this, scott was on last night talking about the due point at 74 degrees. that's the measure of moisture in the interfere and when it

gets up to 74, we're talking about a very sticky muggy feel. 76 in town, 77 along the boardwalk, you get northwest into the 70's very balmy, steamy. there's fog right along the beach front, if you do have a small vessel, know that you have reduced visibility if you're planning on taking the boat out. due points are way up there. that's why we are seeing those showers. even thunderstorms this morning. ultimate doppler showing as you get into montgomery, bucks county into philadelphia. right around 95, exits, seven on 95 as you get into 295 tthis is what we're seeing, rain rates around four to five inches, this cell has not been moving, so it is possible we see flash flooding, i'll let you know if there's any warnings that cross the wires over the next hour or so. burlington county down towards camden county same deal, some of these rain rates in here around two, three inch, problem with these storms are just in the moving, sitting over the same spot for multiple, 20, 30, to 40

minutes, that's why we saw the flash flooding in mercer county. we'll show you video in maryland where it was tremendous rains. showers and thunderstorms off the coast, but if you notice down to the west, there's more activity starting to bubble up. that's what we're going to be watching during the course of your day. warm front on top of us, cold front out to the west. this cold front across the region and bringing another around. if you recollect cast, showers and storms bubbling up any time we get the sun to go to work, we mentioned the sun may be our enemy today. cooking the atmosphere. this will linger into tonight as we go into the predawn hours hon monday in the event again on monday, more showers and storms. so lunchtime temperature, 85, very humid, sunshine will be out there t thunderstorms, it's fair game after 4:00 into the evening. and the wilmington planner going to 88 this afternoon, very steamy.

three others hurt following two separate shootings that happened in the heart of downtown austin texas. the police announced on social media that the gunfire happened about 2:30 this morning right near the entertainment district. we don't know the extent of the other injuries of the people at this time. they say the scenes of the shootings are now secure. this morning, several people are in the hospital after a crash on roosevelt boulevard. police say it happened around 10:00 a.m. on the southbound side in east false. four people were taken to temple and hahnemann with unknown injuries. investigators are still looking into the cause of this accident. parts of mercer county new jersey were pounded by those big heavy rains from yesterday's storm, we have a lot of people sent in video. people had to walk through a lot of water. in some cases, it was several feet downpours all new jersey. state of emergency, one man got stuck at princeton junction train station because he says

the tunnel in the steps to make it down the other side had it filled up with water. police say use caution. unless you bought your power ball ticket in new hampshire, the odds are you didn't win. but a single winning tickets for last night's drawing was sold in new hampshire. of the buyer is taking home about 487 million. let's round it up to $500 million, the fifth largest jackpot in power ball history. the largest happened earlier this year where they were sold for the more than one and a half billion dollars jackpot. you didn't win the jackpot if you're not from new hampshire. here are last night's numbers, 11, 17, 21, 17, 32 and the power ball was 5. you could walk away with a million we did hear on good day and

money and people were go to 50 and 30.org 5030.org. they can see the video, bucket dumbs and get the information there. all the money will go to the greater philadelphia als association which covers southeastern pennsylvania and central and southern jersey and delaware >> this is your whole challenge you're doing. how much money do you hope to raise? >> i have a goal of $100,000. we'll see. right now, i think on the site it shows a little over 6,000. but with some sponsor, we're a little over 20,000 and we haven't started yet >> do you have a family? >> i do. >> are they going on this with you? what are they doing >> my wife works, so she also cannot take you have a month at a time. both of us can't take off the entire time. my kids are ten and 13, they're at summer camp. and i'll be going to their summer camp to do a bucket challenge in massachusetts. but they will be joining me in

the national water service to issue that warning. over port richmond this is right on top of 95, producing four to five inch, we do have flood advisories that roads are starting to flood out. no flash flood warnings just yet. this is right along the delaware. watching this warm front, this is the focus, just like yesterday, we had the heating be saw all the storms pop up. that's going to be the case again for afternoon, 76 in town, 70's across the region, we're talking about due points also into the 70's, so there is a little patchy fog out there. here's fox futurecast. 2:00 this afternoon, showing showers and thunderstorms to blossoming. the further north and west you go, from philly points southeast, you're going to get into some sunshine pockets. again, the atmosphere starts to cook up, we're going to see a shower or gusting storm develop. this is overnight going into the overnight hour, pretty nasty

been watching this cell actually in particular, north of cherry hill moving out of the port richmond second of town producing six inch rainfall rates per hour, this will make a run for 130 where it meets route 90. we're watching flooding rains across the region, not everywhere but where we do have the rain pockets, it's coming down in buckets. of doylestown seeing as you get into warren county and northwestern new jersey. otherwise the remainder of the region dealing with balmy temperature, upper 70's for most spots. that's a muggy atmosphere. west chester is at 74, you go into the city limits. 77 degrees. doylestown 74, very muggy, sticky across the region. look at fox futurecast through the course of your day, scattered showers and storm developing, they may become more numerous again for the overnight hours into tomorrow morning, any storm that develops could produce flash flooding rain.

. welcome back, a live look at wilmington delaware. you have a pretty nice graphic. not that people are excited about graphics. giving us the wilmington weather >> well, you know, try to impress you. i'm not here often >> you get at least about a four and a half >> four and a half is not bad. we're giving ones out in parts of the area. burlington, ocean city, it's really nasty ride. especially garden state parkway if you'urologyou're going throu city. this cell of rain has been sitting on top of ocean city specifically lacy township outside of forked river. three to four inch rainfall rates. we're seeing roadways flooded especially along 70 if you're

going west into burlington county. you get out around medford. they're seeing nasty rain and this cell has not started to inch its way on to the jersey side of things but sitting over morrisville producing four to five inch rainfall rates. we're seeing local flooding. you get up towards upper berks dealing with flooding, along 276, flood advisory is up until at least 11:15 upper bucks and lower bucks until 10:15. if you're traveling to this morning, church services you're going to be dealing with flooded out roadways. warm front on top of us. going to be the focus of storms once again, just like yesterday. i don't think it's as widespread as yesterday was. however, you're going to see hit and miss showers and storms, they're going to be show moving super soaker systems that will be on top of us, 76 in town, 75 in millville, everybody into the middle 70s with due points up there. it's another muggy, humid, oppressive feel to the atmosphere at least for the next

48 hours unfortunately. look at fox future rainfall forecast. this is two to four inches in addition to what we've seen already. we can end up around seven to ten inches of rain over the next three days. that's crazy. if you are taking the boat out today, i think you'll be fine for the early portion of your day. however, watch out, there is a thunder threat around the 3:00 hour through the evening with temperatures that are into the 80's. rip current risk low, a two-foot seas, they will be pretty calm with a uvi around 7. we will see sunshine, you could get a quick burn. it's 88 in town, hazy sunshine downpours developing after the 1:00 or 2:00 hour. flash flooding is a major concern. evening storms for your day tomorrow, 89, isolated storms tuesdays at 85. there's a silver lining to this forecast by the middle of next week, lower humidity and delightful at 85, we're going is
