12, one work, three, 4:00 o'clock should be fine but five, six, 7:00 o'clock we'll start to see some activity here ultimate doppler radar. all quite right now but showers and storms likely develop developing late this afternoon. here's where they are now. they will work their way to the southeast and they have the potential to be strong or severe. we talk about be weather aware keep an eye on the radar and watch for warnings can be issue. timing after 11:00 o'clock. start to see few showers developing but by one or 2:00 o'clock, one or two storms develop and these could be strong or severe storms between three or 4:00 o'clock. watch that starting off in the western suburbs and they'll work they're way through the area between three and 9:00 o'clock tonight. heat is trying to build up ahead of those storms. temperatures could touch 90 degrees three days in a row but again the bigger for later today strong or severe storms. touching 90 between two and 5:00 o'clock. they're working their way in to the philadelphia area but once they clear out, then we're in

the search is on for the person who gunned down a man and left a young girl injured in burlington city, new jersey. >> now, police say that this all happened yesterday morning in the new york shire neighbor. let's get tout sabina kuriakose live near the scene with very latest. good morning. good morning. we are waiting for an expected release of more information from burlington city police and they did tell us last night that they'll be back out here in this neighborhood this morning to continue looking for the suspect whos on the loose. we're standing here at the corner of east federal street and york street. police tell us it was on the 100 block of east federal street when the victims were standing outside yesterday evening just around 6:45 in broad daylight when up to 10 shots rang out. a 24-year-old man was shot and wounded at the scene and later sadly he died at the hospital. a five-year-old little girl was also hurt. now initial reports indicated that she may have been shot. the later police said the doctors were still trying to determine exactly where her

injuries came from and we are told that she is going to be okay. now, police say the suspect dropped the weapon and ran away from the scene. so they spent last evening going door to door from neighbor to neighbor they also had the new jersey state police helicopter up looking for this suspect. we did get update from them at the scene last night and here's what they told us. >> five-year-old female was also taken to lourdes medical center in willingboro for what appeared to be a gunshot wound. at this time the investigation is continuing to see if she was actually struck by a bullet or around from the firearm or she was injured during the retreat of the incident. this kind of acts within our community is never going to be toll rater and we take this very seriously. >> reporter: and again, a 24-year-old man is dead. a five-year-old girl is injured. police have not said how the two victims may be related. this morning the gunman remains on the loose as this is a developing story we are waiting for more information expected to

come out today. for now bill and shawnette, back to you. >> thanks so much, sabina. check back with in you just little bit. and more scary news involving young people. three people including a teenager are in the hospital this morning. >> this time investigators say the group was involved in a shooting yesterday morning in west philadelphia. so here's what happened. this all took place on the 100 block of south 55th street. police say a man upset with the break up of his girlfriend, ex-girlfriend that is, came to her house with three friends and began arguing with her neighbor. one of the men pulled out gun and started shooting. the neighbor was able to run into his house where his father and brothers had guns of their own. they fired back. >> here's perfect situation where you have guns, bullets are flying and people are getting hit that have nothing to do with it young men who just have to revolve these situations in a better way. >> investigators are still figuring out who will face charges. in north philadelphia, police are looking for the person who shot a 25-year-old man in the head. it happened yesterday evening on

the 600 block of north 12th street. police took the man to hahnemann university hospital where he remains in critical condition and so far there have been no arrests. at 7:07, we now know that after police say a drunk driver hit and killed a well-known air force veteran in fair hill. he also ran into an 18-year-old woman after the initial accident. so they say the 29-year-old driver ran a red light early yesterday morning and hit the 37-year-old mother of two who was also in a wheelchair. she later died at temple university hospital. neighbors say the woman often panhandled for money to get back on her feet. she was very well like by othe others. >> sweet person, sweet with everybody, just liked to play witness kids and all of that. very generous person. >> she deserved better way of life after serving this country. >> little positive news. the 18-year-old who was hit is expected to be okay. the driver is now in police

custody. this morning a new jersey transit bus driver is now out of the hospital after being hurt in a deadly accident in newark involving another bus. investigators say he was driving a bus with about 20 passengers on it when he collided with another transit bus that had no passengers on it. the driver of the empty bus died along with the 49-year-old female passenger on the other bus. nine people are still in the hospital, one person we're told is in critical condition and investigators are trying to determine if the driver who died ran a red light. turkeys president says isis to blame for a bomb tack last night that killed 50 people. >> and the group targeted people at an outdoor wedding where almost 100 more people were hurt. investigators say it happened in a south eastern town near the syrian border. they say it appears to be suicide attack. it comes only a month you'll remember after a failed military coo in the country that left more than 270 people dead. turkey's prime minister says this incident turned a wedding party into a place of mourning.

vowed tore veiled over the devilish act. in louisiana people have begun the long process of cleaning up after being hit by deadly flooding. the storm system dumped more than 20-inches of rain over several days leaving rivers and creeks overflowing. it's being blamed for at least 13 deaths and officials say around 4,000 people still remain in shelters. more than 40,000 homes have been damaged or destroyed. tens of thousands of people are now relying on the american red cross for assistance and one of the phone banks is fielding calls for flood victims right here in philadelphia. about 95% of all calls made to the red cross come to the call center in center city. workers who are almost all volunteers say they've gotten about 15,000 calls in the last week. a lot of people who call are in dire situations and unable to get through to 911. the center has opened 16 phone lines that's in comparison to the two that they normally operate. new orleans one pet boarding

facility is stepping up to help out with recovery efforts by taking in hundreds of animals from flooded shelters. many people say the rescue operation is a blessing for some of the animals from smaller shelters that couldn't afford medical treatment. more than 400 pounds of pet food have been donated along with crates and other supplies. now these animals can get the help thee need and a forever home. the olympic games in rio are coming to an end but the controversy surrounding gold medal winner swimmer ryan lochte shows no sign of letting up. surely you've been following this. lochte originally claimed he and flee other other swimmers were rob at gun point by fake cops at a gas station in rio. brazilian police say the swimmers first vandalized the bathroom there, then got into a fight with security guards over money for the damages. in an exclusive interview with nbc yesterday lochte admitte add that will be up to you. that he over exaggerated the story. listen. >> if i didn't over exaggerate

goes down the tank. because frustration doesn't work when you're trying to reach someone who has ideologically set ideals. it doesn't work well. it work better with people who have more mixed views because when you have more mixed views, you're more open to what somebody else has to say. >> is that always in elections? i feel like this particular election is about ideological extremes. it's about those emotions so is it intensified in this particular election? >> to say it was intensified i was using a pew research study following data since 2010. they found that people are turning more and more to social media over the past, say, five or six years, because they're using their accessing this on social devices. people are turning more to social media than they are traditional media or probably sometimes about half and half. >> yeah. >> what that means people are now discussing politics online and social media as much as they would be discussing it face to

face with somebody else. there you have a mix more likely for people to get into confrontations with each other online. >> you're learning more about people than probably you want to know or need to know. >> more than what you want to know, online there's a couple of things. it's text, sometimes people can see disengaged from the -- communicating with people because they're not face to fa face. sometimes we can communicate in ways that are stark, more stark than we usually believe and that can be detrimental. also remember that texts unlike face to face you can't always tell what the person's emotion is. >> you can't read the tone. >> you can read the tone. you're reading something if you haven't taken time to compose it carefully, you can cause offense without meaning to. >> i feel like this is a lesson fours. the less lesson is grow up. we shall be able to inter act. do we move past that way stay away from politic or do we grow up and recognize you can adult conversations. >> and struck differences. >> it depends on what kind of conversation you want to have. if you want to have the kind of conversation where you simply get your views out, that's one

good recipe for just right amount for your home usage. here at the footer truck at the valley beach we actual dollar larger recipe. i'm going to add 2-ounces of finely chopped parsley. continue to mix all the ingredients in. i like to incorporate everything separately this way you know that it gets dispersed through the cream cheese evenly. i'm going to add 2-ounces of fresh squeezed lemon juice. if you're doing fresh squeezed at home make sure you're straining it so you don't get any seeds in it. after i get this incorporated, i'm going to add 1 ounce of horseradish. this is just horseradish you can buy at the supermarket. again let's get everything nice and incorporated. i'm going to add 1 teaspoon of old bay seasoning. again, getting all the way around the bowl. getting all the ingredients ni nicely mixed in. salt and pepper to taste.

again this is up to your preference how much salt or pep mr. you like in your recipe. now once i get my base nicely mixed, i'm going to add my crab meat. we actually use two types of crab meat for our epic crab dip. a claw meat the law meat has a bolder flavor to it. i'm going to get that in. add that nice and mixed in. i'm going to save the jumbo lump meat for the end you'd fold that in so you have nice big pieces in your crab dip. this is my jumbo dump. i'd rather fold to keep the nice big lumps as you're dipping you'll have big pieces of crab meat. more folding it and kind of going over and over and under. just keep folding it over so not to break the crab meat. but to incorporate it. and voila. we have our finish product. what you wanted to let this sit in your refrigerator for maybe 25, 35 minutes or until actually you need it and it's ready to

serve. >> all right. so after you finish getting a nice chill to put it nice bowl with grieve green leaf lettuce. we top our epic crab dip with fresh green onions and serviette with our try colored corn chips. we fry them here fresh every day. at home it's challenging but you can purchase them at any supermarket you like. you don't have to fry them at home but if you like to get pan and fry the oil, be careful. drop your chips in there for few minutes and then you're finish. if not purchase them at any supermarket. after about two minutes just take your chips out they should be nice and crispy. you want to let them drain real welch another they're drained, place them in bowl and just top it with sea salt. let's give it a taste. tastes tastes real nice. crab meat -- both crab meats in there, fresh lemon juice some of the old bay in there, came together really nicely perfect dish to serve at your picnic or maybe for your labor day

away from the gunman. we are told she is going to be okay. police going door to door from home to home they actually told residents here to stay inside of their homes and they told other people to stay away from this neighborhood. police helicopter also searched the scene. now authorities say they were able to gather evidence and conduct interviews. they say they have made progress so far. they say they're determined to catch the person who was brazen enough to shoot and kill a man in broad daylight and to injuria kindergartner. >> i never want to you know down play an injury to a five-year-old child especially during an incident like this. what i can say the doctors are looking into it to see if she was struck by gunfire. if she was struck by, you know, some kind of residue that game from the gunfire or something that where she tripped herself. investigation is preliminary. bottom line we have a five-year-old girl hurt from unnecessary incident and very dangerous incident that occurred. we have children on our streets that is not tolerated in our town.

'59 version won 11 cad mow awards and tied with titanic and lord of the rings return of the king as the most academy awards won by a film and ceremony of oscars. new movies stars jack houston he plays ben hur. he's accused of of accuser. the accuser is his adopted brother. he returns to jerusalem after five years for revenge and that revenge comes in the form of a chariot race which we all know and love the original 1959. the third film actual physical i shall say that correctly but this film in general very very good job of creating intensity sequences on the boat and the chariot race are amazing. one of the problems i had with seeing this movie being made was how do you top the 1959 classic chariot race? and that movie that was done so practically back then. almost too much though because horses did die during that

product. now, they went around that this time around, and they actually used cgi for some of the scenes with the horses actually fall or get injured. they still kept it very practical and had the actors driving the chariots and for some scenes the actor jack houston was actually hanging off the chariot and being dragged across the track. it was very well done some of the go pro footage is phenomenal you're watching right here. the actors are phenomenal in the film it's produced by mark brunette and roman downing the my biggest problem was the pacing it was too long at times. the ending needed to be, v a little more breathing room. i still gave a 3.5 out of five. definitely say give 83.5 and see it in 2d. next up is war dogs. this is based on the true events of two guys in their early 20's who somehow struck a deal with the pentagon for $300 million and this contract was used to arm the afghan military during this time period. now miles teller and jonah hill

awful to great. got the phillies playing today. those thunderstorms in there and you see exactl exactly when plag around this one do it early or wait till tomorrow. between about 2:00 and 8:00 o'clock going down on that scale. these storms are coming through. they could be strong or severe. here's where they are right now not looking like much yet but they'll get organized. things will heat up just a bit. fuel these storms but work their way across the state and be here by this afternoon. temperatures will try to climb into the upper 80s maybe touching 90 that would give us a heat wave three days in a row but that will be the end of the it. the setup u with the wind change in wind direction can lead to these storms becoming bit more organized and severe and also start to spin them up a bit closer to the low which will be up across new england but keep a close eye on exactly how far south that potential goes. they will be developing by about 1:00 o'clock in the north and western suburbs. there's two waves com coming thh individual scattered strong storms, starting off in the

western suburb, a line tries to develop between 3:00 and 5:00 o'clock north and west. five and 7:00 o'clock along 95. seven and 9:00 o'clock south and east across new jersey and delaware. so depending on where you are that's where you'll see these storms messing through. behind it, that wind picks up and the temperatures drop nowhere near 90 in the seven day forecast. first two days a little stormy and breezy. two nice days here the wind dies down humidity is low. beautiful tuesday and wednesday with bright sunshine. little warmer thursday, friday and saturday we are back with showers in the forecast and close to 90 bite end of the week. few nice days down the shore especially tuesday and wednesday. there's a land breeze tomorrow so not the best but by tuesday and wednesday pretty nice and by the end of the week it's warming back up close to 90 degrees. >> oh, yeah i'm living for tuesday and wednesday. does right. we'll take it. that looks good. >> right. >> time now to take you around the house. now, today we're talking about water. i actually did a story this past week about brown water in local area. a lot more questions.
